We waited a few minutes to let him get settled before walking in. There was no "thanks for waiting" or any acknowledgment at all. When we asked if they were serving food, he told us the sandwich guy "should be here around 6:30 or so," and suggested we grab a burger next door if we were really hungry. Honestly, that was such a letdown. We'd waited all day to eat, driven 50 minutes from Tacoma in the pouring rain, and were so eager to try their food, not the burger spot next door. We debated leaving but decided to make the best of it. We grabbed burgers next door, came back, and ordered cocktails.
