This is a hidden gem. Stopped in early on a Thursday night. Wasn't busy at all. We stopped in to grab a quick bite on our way to a concert. This is a dark, dive bar through and through. The person who took our order from behind the bar didn't really acknowledge she got out order at first, so not the super friendliest service. We ordered some burgers and fries! They were good tavern burgers, and the fries... we literally saw the cook pull the bag of potatoes out. So yes, they are fresh made fries and they were so freaking good. This is a nice little local spot, not a lot of parking, but a great little bar to grab a burger and a drink. read more

Sound guy has no idea what he's doing, not a single sound check the whole show, bartender was cool. We played a show and they refused to pay anyone in the bands, monitors don't work and they were extremely disrespectful to everyone in all of the bands. Got the lucky deluxe and no problems there the food its good service is good aswell pretty attentive although not very busy., only one problem. On the menu it mentions that the prices reflect a 3.99% cash discount. Although they charged me 14$ for my 12$ burger which would be not 3.99% but closer to 16.99% which is not correct. The food at this place is pretty decent. I'm vegetarian, so I ordered the vegan hot dog which came with a side of chips. The chips were so good! They felt very light and perfectly seasoned. The vegan hot dog also had a good amount of mustard and onions. I also ordered the jalapeño poppers, which were piping hot so be careful and take care that they've cooled down sufficiently. Ask for the ranch if you can! Great place to listen to live music and bask in the dive atmosphere. read more

Awesome spot. Walked into Lorettas in South Park and the hipster vibes were way too thick- heard they had good burgers but the Flamin Bleu burger here at Lucky Liquor was SO GOOD. No regrets. I ordered one with hubs to split- we decided we needed to order a second. Super dang delish. Had a good conversation with an older fella while the band set up. Lucky Liquor is no frills, good food and beer, I'd assume stiff drinks too. I had the Lucky Wit beer and it was so citrusy and refreshing. A++ bar, i love this spot. read more

Tall front door man called me multiple inappropriate names and threatened me, all because I tried to go outside and re enter as an underage person. He threatened me, belittled me, and made me feel insignificant. I told him to chill out because he acted like he was going to assault me, and it set him off into a fit of anger. He said he makes the rules and that I am a b****, along with suggesting multiple times we would- "hurt me and I couldn't do anything about it". I highly suggest removing said person from your staff, as I have had multiple people tell me they too feel threatened by this man. Thanks. read more

This might be the only affordable cool dive bar left in Seattle. I stopped in for a quick drink on my way into the city and I am glad I did. I'll be back! Really nice bartender too. You have to order at the bar tho in case you are wondering why no one has come to your table. read more

If you like working class dives, this is your huckleberry. Reasonably priced drinks, simple, solid chow. Cool old R&B and rock dominate during boozy weekend brunches and weekday happy hours, and harder stuff nightly. There are special events and live music too, despite the small space. Get bored? There's pinball. The service is decidedly unprofessional- and that's not necessarily a bad thing. You're treated like a friend at a backyard barbecue here. Informal, unhurried, the servers and bartenders usually wear their mood on their sleeve, talk to you like a neighbor, Beer selection is small but diverse, and somehow there's always something I like. Booze range is very limited. You will not find the latest foofoo martini of the month here, or an artisan cocktail list inviting you to spend $20 on some clown car of exotic poisons you'll never remember the flavor of anyway. In the past six years I have passed Lucky Liquor on my way to work and would glance at it filled with uncertainty. Then one day I decided to go and since I have been back several times. It is a small dive bar and it is very much a dive bar but in the best of fantastic ways. It is the bar that you go to without any judgement, where people greet you enthusiatically, and the decor is fun and unpretentious. The lighting is low, the music can be loud, they show films from time to time, and there are pinball machines along the wall. It is comfortable. The drinks were super good - stiff without feeling too slap across the face stiff - and the food is great - simple, fun, great bar food. The bartenders here have always been very friendly and accommodating. If it isn't too busy they'll step out from behind the bar to offer a refill. If it is busy then it is understandable that they aren't able to do that as frequently. The crowd is fun. I'm not sure about its status. I don't know if it is hanging by a thread or just choosing to remain a little beat down to keep the ambiance. I know, though, that it is fun, friendly, with good people and great drinks. read more

We stopped in here for a quick bite before visiting the Boeing Museum of Flight and it is definitely a cute little dive bar. My friend said it so well, whatever one could want in a dive bar, they deliver on. Interesting things to look at all over the walls? Check. Old skool arcade games? Got um. Slightly seedy feel? Oh Yaaah. Everything on the menu fried? Fried and fried again just to be sure. There is plenty of seating and also a stage for performances. We ordered at the bar and while the only thing I could have on that menu was the lemonade due to all the gluten, the husband was nursing a hangover and not about to pass up a greasy deliciously plump grilled cheese and fries. My friends felt similar and shared a chicken tenders meal. Everyone said the food was good. So even though I couldn't sample anything on the menu, I wouldn't really expect to at most bars. The service was friendly and quick and the prices were very affordable. That and the proximity to the museum allowing us to catch a drink and snack before the day was perfect. If you're looking for a good dive bar you've found a contender. read more

I love places like this that seem to be hanging on by a thread and still sticking to their guns. This place is an odd addition along the water in Tukwila, standing rather alone along the road. I'm not even mad about it. Great burger, not too greasy and stellar fries. Needs a fry sauce. Super friendly bartender and cook, guy at the door also running sound was nice. Bring quarters for the pinball machines. Couldn't get the actual boxes to take my 5er and there are confusing notes taped to the change machine that indicate it doesn't work. Maybe? Great, honest pub not overrun with bros or poser-hipsters. Off the beaten path and easy to get to. Excellent bar food. Hella friendly staff. Drinks are stiff. Beer list sufficient and balanced. Regularly has live music which is awesome although it's never my genre of first choice. Taco Tuesday's are a good time to visit. Only downside is parking can be limited when bands play. Surpsingly very few spots to park and no street parking or parking lots in walking distance within a reasonable distance. So plan ahead. read more

My bf and I were here recently to see our friends' band, which was awesome, of course. What we didn't expect was the above and beyond service and THE BEST BURGERS EVER! The bouncer helped us figure out parking (there was some crazy event at Boeing that day) and was really nice. I mention this because how many bouncers are REALLY NICE? I want to say approx zero, so LL really hit the jackpot. Their guy is great. Re: the food, these guys don't mess around one bit. They use grass fed beef in their burgers and offer gluten free buns if you need them - my gluten-sensitive-but-not-Celiac bf was in heaven. One of the cooks came out to answer my questions, which were probably really annoying (as are my bf's myriad food sensitivities - let's be honest), and she was very understanding and informative. There are breadcrumbs in the meat patties, so not Celiac-friendly, but for someone with mild issues like my bf it was fine with a gluten free bun. We would have loved to try the food and drinks but didn't get the chance to as the moment we stepped in, there was an uncomfortable feeling as if we didn't belong. Provided we were the only minorities at the establishment and for 10 min, no one came to our group but continued to serve others at the bar table. We saw the stares coming from the staff with an annoyed look. We weren't loud and very respectable. I had a great time running into this place after a local guy suggested this place. At the time they were playing reggae punk night and it was pretty damn legit. Drinks was good and the pin ball machine was great, but the crowd and owner were all around friendly which I think was a highlight of the place since not a lot of local bars I visit were that friendly. Or they could just be drunk friendly.. Either way met some cool dudes. Being an LA native this is by far the funnest night of rolling solo bar hopping and not to mention outside of Seattle on a Friday night at 12AM. In addition, the location is very secluded but it was unique and authentic which I liked the most. Staff is nice and it has that home feeling that a lot of seattle bars have lost while selling out to the tech wave that is overtaking the city. Every time we have played this venue, it has been a blast!! The staff is great!! Ample parking, back door or front door load in available depending on where you park. Sound isn't bad at all. Plenty of seating for all your friends. The food is decent priced.. It's good and they have veggie burgers and gluten free on request, so all my allergic vegan friends can eat here too. Worst bar experience ever! They say you shouldn't a book by it's cover but this place is clearly the exception. It has a run down and dirty appearance that does not improve upon entering the cramped establishment. The floor was in need of a good sweeping and our table and chairs were sticky. GROSS! We had a few beers and ordered some fish and chips and burgers. Big mistake. The Fish was cold in the middle and I refused to finish it and risk possible food poisoning. My buddies burgers were raw in the middle and charred on the outside. At least the drinks were okay! The bartender seems disinterested and got annoyed when we complained about our food. This place was recommended by a "friend" HA! On a sat at 5:30 pm A seven dollar cover for a "band" that was WAY TOO EFFEN LOUD for such a tiny place. Music is subjective, but they really sucked. Communication was impossible, sign language only.. The long line for the bar was way too long for the size of this tiny place and the bartender was wandering off, for who knows what. We went for fish and chips and I was glad to see an uneaten plate of what I almost ordered. The fries were flaccidly limp and the "breaded" fish was swimming for its life in a pool of grease. I am so thankful I did not order anything. We turned on heel and left. I did not want the want my Fourteen dollars cover back as I felt so sorry for the band to play in a place like this. I will never ever be back. Life is way too short for crap like this. Go elsewhere. This place is not a dive. its a dump. read more
