    Patio area!

Soft opening in the pet friendly patio. The patio is awesome. Lots of space for peeps and doggies alike! Had myself a Bloody Mary and passed on the food for today. Can't wait for it to open full time for business. Spoke with Diana, the owner, and she says they are shooting for a White Center Jubilee weekend opening. I'll be able to give it a fair review at time!

This is a local place. You have to relax and just except the moment and adapt to where you're at in White Center. The standard drink is a Rainier and some Jim Bean or a PBR. I really like this place and it's laid back and a place to relax, have a few drinks and chill.

Overrated, small, gossipy bartenders. Don't waste your time or money on this bar, go to Georgetown where you can have fun without judgement.

We always get that along with the Tacos Dorados and my husband gets the burger and fries.

My partner and I were so excited to try this place after seeing it on TikTok. We even skipped…read moreeating all day so we could fully enjoy it. Knowing how viral spots can get, we arrived early at 4:50 since they were listed to open at 5. By 5:30, no one had shown up. We checked their Instagram and found comments from other people who had the same experience from other days: showing up at opening time only to find the doors still closed. The owner had replied to one of those comments saying, "Life does unfortunately get in the way of being able to open right at 5 pm..." So apparently this happens somewhat regularly. Right as we were about to give up, someone finally pulled up and unlocked the place. We rolled down our window and he told us we needed to park somewhere else. That's fine. We waited a few minutes to let him get settled before walking in. There was no "thanks for waiting" or any acknowledgment at all. When we asked if they were serving food, he told us the sandwich guy "should be here around 6:30 or so," and suggested we grab a burger next door if we were really hungry. Honestly, that was such a letdown. We'd waited all day to eat, driven 50 minutes from Tacoma in the pouring rain, and were so eager to try their food, not the burger spot next door. We debated leaving but decided to make the best of it. We grabbed burgers next door, came back, and ordered cocktails. The drinks were fine, and the space itself is genuinely awesome, great vibe, super fun décor, and a lot of character. I mean they even play scary movies on a projector. Like, it's awesome. But the experience left us feeling more like an inconvenience than valued customers. I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately, the lack of communication and hospitality overshadowed everything else.

Fun little bar with a great chill vibe. Good drinks and fun old movies playing on the big screen…read more Did I mention the littlest are welcome too? Two thumbs up!

I was seated quickly and got a great table overlooking the kitchen. I enjoyed watching that action and felt like I was part of a cooking show =) I ordered a dirty martini which was made perfectly and the blue cheese olives were divine. For food we did their family feast which consisted of: Tomo Caesar- we really enjoyed it, not overly drenched, lots of favlor and crunch Albacore Tataki - nearly melts in your mouth, fresh and the ponzu was so good Dan Dan Beets - I'm not a huge beet fan but it was good and the citrus added really makes the dish Cacio e Pepe Rice Cakes - literally one of the best things I've ever had, amazing, warm, gooey, flavorful and comforting...a 10 for me Dry-Aged Steam Burgers - a mini bite of heaven, people who don't appreciate these are not real burger eaters...they are absolutely delicious, soft and cheesey... I could've ate 6 of these alone Klingemann Farms Pork Chop - grilled perfectly, and the sauce that is laid over it is like drink in a cup delicious, I wish I had white rice to soak it up because we did not want to waste it Cara cara orange + coconut pandan Kakigori - shaved ice dessert, very refreshing and light even though it's like a foot high when it comes out, we devoured it All that came as part of the feast but we also added the Dungeness Crab Rice - this was like a wet risotto and it was incredible, the flavor is packed, the brown butter dashi is like liquid gold and the only thing to make it better would be to triple the size because you don't want to stop eating it!!! The restaurant itself is pretty small but that sort of makes it even better, everyone is socializing and enjoying the food, the staff is great and attentive but not overbearing and the chefs are doing beautiful work. I look forward to coming back and trying the items we didn't get to try this round. 10/10 recommend!!

The standout dish was the Dungeness crab rice, which was easily the best bite of the meal. It was rich and well balanced, and the one dish I would strongly recommend ordering. Most of the other dishes were underwhelming. The cacio e pepe rice cakes in particular sounded promising but didn't deliver much flavor and ended up being disappointing. It's also quite far to get to, and given the overall experience, it's hard to say the trip was worth it beyond the crab rice. Overall: worth trying the crab rice, but the rest of the menu didn't stand out.

First you go someplace, you have a nice time, and the rose-colored glasses are on. Second time you…read morego someplace, you don't have as good of a time, and the rose-colored glasses come off. That's the way it is. We hoped this would be our new holiday go-to. We loved the idea of a week-long menu during holidays. We took advantage of the Irish St. Patrick's Day menu, and we were excited to go back for the Easter menu. The Easter menu was also shown on their website as being a week long - so that's three more days from the day we went. When we got there, we spent a few minutes being discombobulated because we couldn't find any of the Easter menu items besides the pancakes (photo) and the drinks menu. In addition, the staff was being a big cagey about it. The menu was still featured on the website but turns out, we were eventually told, that they ran out of the ingredients for most of the items (which would be ham and pork, I guess) and the menu was shut down except for the drinks and the pancakes (nobody mentioned the pancakes and they weren't named in an Eastery way). So, folks, if you offer a week-long menu for one of the biggest holidays of the year, please get enough inventory. We know times are tough, but you did decide to do this and presumably know better after being open since 1979. Please take the holiday menu down from your website if it's not applicable anymore. Please put "subject to availability" on your flyer online if it's possible you will run out of inventory. Please be forthcoming and cheerful and apologetic that you don't have the holiday menu anymore, not defensive. Please tell your entire staff that you aren't serving it anymore. Non-wait staff. Why do you ask us what we want to drink, then tell us we'll have to ask our server? Just bring us water and be done with it. Wait staff. You seem like you enjoy your job, or used to, but are over-worked. That's too bad. We hope things get better. So, this will probably not be our go-to holiday restaurant after all.
