I found this studio on Google and called to see if I could consult for design and printing out of state. Jenn was immediately very accommodating and happy to help when I first spoke with her over the phone. She offered her time and we exchanged emails on quantity, materials, and inspiration for the suite. We iterated a few times making edits on design and text until it was just right before we finalized for production. Jenn was always quick to respond, professional and transparent about the changes we made to the design. The final product exceeded my expectations, the quality is top-notch and I'm so excited to send out my invites! I cannot recommend Jenn and the studio enough and hope to work with them again in the future!

What caught my attention and drew me in was the absolutely stunning textured scarf in the window in several shades of aqua, teal, and a bit of lavendar. Reminded me of the colors of the sea, which is always what appeals to me. As I wondered in, I was impressed with the variety. Ceramic wall clocks, some shaped like the beloved VW van, handmade jewelry, watercolors, oils, postcards, canvas, framed prints, textiles - basically something for everyone, including prices. Now I've come in and found other lovely things to buy and have stepped up my penpal game 10 fold and found other wonderful small businesses that Eryngium stocks like Portland Stamp Co! Postcards and my main love but I also keep coming back for the stickers and tiny cards as little goodies to add to bigger packages I send to international penpals. I find the cost for the quality very reasonable, as much if not all of the items are hard to find or specialty, and I don't see any price gouging or mark ups! The woman who was at the store--the owner, I think, based on our conversation--was friendly and super helpful. She knows her merchandise inside and out. She carries clothing here that I've never seen before at the children's stores I usually visit in the Chicago area (I've already told the owner of one of them that she needs to look into these brands!). I really appreciated that she explained the sizing system since I was a bit perplexed at first (maybe she saw my confusion)--since some are brands based in other countries, they're sized by centimeter but the American sizing equivalent is on the back of the tag (though can we talk about that cm/in sizing system for a moment, because it would make my life infinitely easier when trying to buy kid clothes....) Almost the moment I walked into the shop I zeroed in on this adooooorable pantsuit for my daughter, and a darling dress. I'm buying a little larger for her since she's a high percentile child and I'm looking forward to seeing her in these when she's big enough to wear them. They also sell local goods--I bought a Portland-themed t-shirt for the babe. I asked about a local shoe company I'd heard of that listed BW as a retailer and though they don't carry that brand any longer, she showed me a different local brand they carry called Ozznek (which has super cool shoes with removable soles!!) and I bought two pair for my little. This lovely little store was worth the visit; I will definitely return and I'm keeping an eye on their socials. I think they ship as well so between that and stopping in when I'm home visiting my mom I can keep my babe in cool duds.
