The order usually comes out before you even have a chance to sit down at a table...Freaky Fastest! My first order was called out so fast that I thought the order must be someone else's! Food is made fresh in front of your eyes (open window allows full visualization to the entire kitchen): fresh (never frozen) chicken tenderloins are hand battered and dropped immediately into the fryer, fresh (not frozen) Texas toast is hand buttered and dropped into the toaster conveyor, mac & cheese is packaged as it is ordered, and everything is assembled in plain view, in a very short time! Employees & management are all super friendly and helpful and keep a great ambiance in the kitchen and throughout the entire restaurant. Owners are on site on the weekends and during the week and can often be seen doing all the jobs, in and out of the kitchen. The menu is concise and offers a great tasting meal without the wait. Three of us shared a Senior Meal, consisting of 8 tenders, 2 sauces, seasoned waffle fries, & garlic buttered Texas toast. Menu items are meals (simplest and most popular way to order) with the number of chicken tenders corresponding to a college year, or you can order each item separately as a side, or you can add additional sides to a meal. Even though we were sitting and talking for over 30 min, when we broke open the last tender, which felt cooled off on the outside, the chicken was still STEAMING on the inside! And so juicy! Absolutely amazing! We love love loved the seasoned waffle fries, a nice crispy outside with a soft, tender inside (though they have run out from time to time and had to serve regular French fries in a pinch...so if that happened to you, make sure to go back when they have their waffle fries!! Amazing!). The food is all really good on its own, but it is all made even better by dipping everything, including the Texas toast (and I have heard of people even adding it to the mac & cheese) into their Signature OxSauce (also made from scratch on site)! Make sure to order extra...you can't get enough! Though I am not a vegetarian, the mac & cheese side is a pretty hefty portion, and combined with the seasoned waffle fries and/or the garlic buttered Texas Toast, should fill up anyone who doesn't want chicken. There is also a great bar area which is ready to open as soon as they get the approved paperwork back, hopefully less than a week or so. It will have several beers on tap, including their own craft beer, OxVegas Lager, as well as canned & bottled drinks, wine, & a FULL bar. The bar area has country music playing in the background and has numerous TVs on, but it is not so loud that it drowns out your conversation when sitting at a high top or at the bar. The opposite side of the restaurant is set up more for just the dining experience and feels a little more intimate without the TVs or music. The extreme number of windows makes the place feel super open and provides a great view from every seat, either to look out over the park, or to watch for friends passing by.

No direction on where to get drinks/condiments/napkins, etc. Most of the tables were dirty with food crumbs and it seemed like the whole place could use a wipe down with some Dawn Powerwash. Floors are seriously slippery and need to be addressed soon or someone might fall. Bathroom needs some deep cleaning as well on a regular basis. My husband asked the cashier what he should punch in, and the cashier rather condescendingly responded that even credit cards have PINs. So, we voided that transaction and pulled out our debit card. Mind you there is a $2.00 fee for any transaction, and you have to withdraw a rounded amount like $20 or $10 and then the cashier gives you change. Other commenters seem to feel similarly - accepting credit cards and their associated fees is a necessary cost of doing business; passing this cost on to your customers with this mandatory $2 fee (unless you have cash) is unacceptable. I will not return. Besides the shady ATM fees, the water was served lukewarm in plastic cups with no ice. There is a limited eat-in area with about six tables. One wall of the restaurant is devoted to displaying antiques. The food itself was just okay. My husband had the Vegetarian Philly, which comes with Tofurkey deli slices. Decided on the chicken salad on marbled rye. Service was fast and the sandwich looked amazing. Sadly that is where is ended. The chicken salad, while abundant, lacked flavor. Very bland. The bread was delicious. Baklava was excellent. However, while my husband and I were eating our meal and finally able to hear one another (the loud talkers left), the server was cleaning the floor, stacking chairs, wiping down tables and booths, clearly wanting us to leave. Closing time was 20 minutes away but my gosh, could she have been any more obvious and rude. Would I go there again? Ehhhh. It left a lot to be desired.

Due to this we almost always just get cheese pizza which we have grown to love and a good cheese pizza can be amazing but toppings are a nice change! Anyway, I got a piece of cheese pizza and a piece with meatball and onions. I enjoyed both a great deal. The meatball/onion combo are very flavorful and enhanced the cheese pizza a great deal.... Then I had the piece of cheese pizza and I have become boring and just love the simplicity of the cheese pizza and Tony makes a great slice of cheese pizza! Maybe get meatballs on the side next time is what I am thinking. We ordered the small salad and LOVED the Balsamic Vinaigrette (Tony mentioned it was homemade)... It was a fresh salad that we shared so it was cool that we could get the croutons and the cheese On the side....
