Very historic and interesting inn. Some staff very pleasant. Food, in my estimation, pretty horrible Food. "Some" interaction with staff, 4. With other waitstaff people 2. Took forever to get service. Appetizer, a Brie pastry Came cold If there was ANY brie in or on it, it had to be applied with a small pointed brush. Main course also cold. Brussels sprouts seemed boiled to mush. Don't even know what to call other side. Dessert, bread pudding, cold and hard as a stone. In addition, if there is a "special event," be careful. The one I attended last night was advertised to be 2 hours. The speaker, not very engaging, ended it within 1 hour and 10 minutes....

This was a great place. They had live music with an acoustic guitarist which was nice, the food was excellent. I had the fillet which was incredibly tender and had a great flavor. The staff was super friendly and everyone was welcoming. This place has a ton of history and the owner was happy to show us around and tell us all the fascinating stories. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend stopping here. You can even stay the night in one of the 22 hotel rooms on site. It's beautiful.

This restaurant was great, we will definitely come here again. It is called Larrick's Tavern and is part of The Wayside Inn bed and breakfast. We were there for St Patty's day and so had traditional Irish food, offered on a holiday menu. Everything was good. Warm and friendly service, cozy atmosphere.

Great ambiance. Loved the historic feel. We went on a rainy Saturday night and the service was efficient. I recommend the peanut soup.

My experience has always been the same. It's exactly what I'm looking for. The boss and the cooks…read moreknow how to make simple, delicious food for their customers. The eggs always freshly hot from the pan, the toast freshly toasted. The bacon perfect as ordered--crisp, not scorched. The scrapple crunchy-soft, never having sat for long. I haven't had the sausage yet. More to come. These are basics done right, and that's no small thing. I've only occasionally had lunch, but the homemade soups are like your mother's. And although I've never met a milkshake I didn't like, I'm convinced the Queen Streeter brain trust understands the importance of high-quality ice cream. It's evident. The best measure of any essential eatery is its burger and chicken salad sandwich. Both get an A.

Stopped in to the Queen Street Diner for breakfast on a weekday morning. Ordered the Sausage gravy…read moreand biscuits, plus two eggs (over easy), a side of bacon, and water. Food came out fairly quickly. Everything was hot. My only gripe - and this applies to most of the diners I've visited - everyone makes their sausage gravy the same way - bland and under seasoned. I can see the bits of sausage in the gravy - but it does not taste "sausagey." I added a good bit of salt, pepper, and hot sauce - to give it some flavor. The bacon and eggs were cooked properly - and were tasty for what they are. Coffee was average - nothing to wow me. Service was good. Paid with cash. #QueenStreetDiner

Would gladly come back. -Brussels sprouts: delicious. Roasted and topped with parm, bacon, and balsamic glaze. As with all Brussels some bits are charred and a little too toasty for me but really yummy. -Marry me chicken: it's rich- a lot of cheese and cream. Portion is huge. Tangy sundried tomatoes cut the richness and was actually tender. I enjoyed the better as leftovers and I don't know why. Mashed potatoes creamy, buttery delicious. I don't like spinach so I got it with a side of green beans. -Green beans: good but cooked and seasoned unevenly. I still liked it -Grilled mahi tacos: I enjoyed this the most. The taco shell isn't a taco shell, more like a flatbread or naan toasted. It has a variety of textures and flavors - pumpkin seeds, jalapeño slaw, avocado sauce, and pico. It's bright and punchy and delicious. Comes w fries -Sweet potato fries: so yum. Crispy outside fluffy inside Cheese pizza: a lot of cheese- a little too much for me. The restaurant itself is lake themed with beautiful wood paneling, floor to ceiling windows, centered around a cozy fire place. I made a comment that it'd be perfect for baby/ bridal showers and my friend said people actually have weddings here. The interior is matched by an even more beautiful view. They offer outdoor waterside seating on their deck. It looks to be screened in/ have windows so you're not exposed to the weather. Service was great/ attentive.
