Very historic and interesting inn. Some staff very pleasant. Food, in my estimation, pretty horrible Food. "Some" interaction with staff, 4. With other waitstaff people 2. Took forever to get service. Appetizer, a Brie pastry Came cold If there was ANY brie in or on it, it had to be applied with a small pointed brush. Main course also cold. Brussels sprouts seemed boiled to mush. Don't even know what to call other side. Dessert, bread pudding, cold and hard as a stone. In addition, if there is a "special event," be careful. The one I attended last night was advertised to be 2 hours. The speaker, not very engaging, ended it within 1 hour and 10 minutes....

Live musician playing for dinner crowd.

This was a great place. They had live music with an acoustic guitarist which was nice, the food was excellent. I had the fillet which was incredibly tender and had a great flavor. The staff was super friendly and everyone was welcoming. This place has a ton of history and the owner was happy to show us around and tell us all the fascinating stories. We absolutely loved it and highly recommend stopping here. You can even stay the night in one of the 22 hotel rooms on site. It's beautiful.

This restaurant was great, we will definitely come here again. It is called Larrick's Tavern and is part of The Wayside Inn bed and breakfast. We were there for St Patty's day and so had traditional Irish food, offered on a holiday menu. Everything was good. Warm and friendly service, cozy atmosphere.

Great ambiance. Loved the historic feel. We went on a rainy Saturday night and the service was efficient. I recommend the peanut soup.

Both were excellent and were not small portions. For our main we had the crab cakes and the ribeye. We are super particular on both and they hit a home run on both. The drinks were better than good as well. I love the black Manhattan and my wife had the blood orange margarita. Definitely try both. Service was top notch as well. Alec was our server and the manager Isaiah checked on us multiple times. Don't pass up a chance to stop in for a great dining experience and the ambiance was out of the world as well.

Would gladly come back. -Brussels sprouts: delicious. Roasted and topped with parm, bacon, and balsamic glaze. As with all Brussels some bits are charred and a little too toasty for me but really yummy. -Marry me chicken: it's rich- a lot of cheese and cream. Portion is huge. Tangy sundried tomatoes cut the richness and was actually tender. I enjoyed the better as leftovers and I don't know why. Mashed potatoes creamy, buttery delicious. I don't like spinach so I got it with a side of green beans. -Green beans: good but cooked and seasoned unevenly. I still liked it -Grilled mahi tacos: I enjoyed this the most. The taco shell isn't a taco shell, more like a flatbread or naan toasted. It has a variety of textures and flavors - pumpkin seeds, jalapeño slaw, avocado sauce, and pico. It's bright and punchy and delicious. Comes w fries -Sweet potato fries: so yum. Crispy outside fluffy inside Cheese pizza: a lot of cheese- a little too much for me. The restaurant itself is lake themed with beautiful wood paneling, floor to ceiling windows, centered around a cozy fire place. I made a comment that it'd be perfect for baby/ bridal showers and my friend said people actually have weddings here. The interior is matched by an even more beautiful view. They offer outdoor waterside seating on their deck. It looks to be screened in/ have windows so you're not exposed to the weather. Service was great/ attentive.

We were seated quickly and we noticed our waitress was Slow on getting to the tables for drinks and after about 10 minutes she came by and got our drinks. Upon her getting close and speaking it was very apparent she was very intoxicated and I remarked that it was sad about her condition. As we waited for our food we watched her interactions with other tables and she had problems remembering what table was which. She delivered food to the wrong tables and dropped other food on the floor trying to deliver it. Her fellow waitresses were actually calling her out in the middle of the dining room telling her to get her act together. When she delivered the food the hamburger steak platter was literally a dry hamburger patty that was old and had a thimble of gravy. the mashed potatoes were instant and had been poorly mixed because the powder was still dry in the middle. The glazed carrots were old soggy and brown ( see the picture) . We never got a bill because she just disappeared completely. We went to pay and the cashier was able to look up the order and we spoke to her about the waitress needing some help and her condition and all she would say is " we will try"
