We Love Larrikin! We decided to include Larrikin on our stops based on recommendations from social media, so we didn't know what to expect! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We are so glad we stopped and are now huge fans of not only the bourbon, but the overall vibe and employees![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Upon arriving there was a woman loading bottles of alcohol in the back of their SUV and we joked back and forth with her about doing tastings out of the back of her car. Little did we know it was the co-owner, Katie! This interaction set the positive tone for our visit. As we entered, we were then warmly welcomed by several employees who gave us an introduction to the history of Larrikin and then escorted to the main tasting room bar. Several of us did tastings, while our wives enjoyed multiple specialty cocktails. Throughout our visit the employees would bring us additional tastes of things they liked and thought we would enjoy. These additional samples were a good way to share product and had us purchase additional items beyond the tasty bourbon. High-quality bourbons and spirits! As an Army veteran, I liked that Larrikin is veteran owned and operated! Additionally, I can totally relate to the definition of their name! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Gift shop leads to bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food truck outside that isn't open all day- closes later in afternoon. Don sidled up after we had our tastes and made us some beverages. He was really interesting and told us a lot about how the owners got started. Had a couple good tastes of bourbon (small batch, bottled in bond) and interesting ones (cigar lounge). Of course they were the most pricey... Also good gin (best mates) and runner ups (easy peasy). Left with some shirts, gin, bourbon crème, and some other swag. Would return! read more

Our driver, Carey, from Stone Fences Tours recommended a quick stop at Larrikin between our other distillery tours and we are so glad he did. We grabbed a quick delicious cocktail. The staff-second to none, they knew we only had about a half hour to spend and they helped us meet that timeline! This was on the way to Wild Turkey and we did a happy shack U-turn back to say hello before our scheduled tasting at WT. got to meet Katie the part owner. She is amazing, super friendly amazing hostess and wife of Greg the master distiller and other part owner. Great team and just a cool team working there. Veteran owned and operated. Really good juice and just a cool place to hang out and enjoy a drink, do a tasting of their gin, vodka or Bourbons. Try the food truck outdoors and hang. If you're in the bourbon trail, DON'T miss this place! Not one of the more well known distilleries (YET), so you can easily pass by this gem. If you do, you'll regret it. The bourbons here are quite good and the pours and flights are reasonably priced, but what really sets this place apart is the staff. Every person we encountered was committed to making our experience fantastic. They were attentive without being smothering and everyone we spoke to was knowledgeable and a real brand ambassador. The owner of this brand should be very proud and if my experience was any indicator of things to come, it won't be long before Larrikin is mentioned in the same breath with other more established top shelf bourbons. I had zero plans to stop here didn't even know it existed until I drove past it on my way to the big, shiny distillery next door. But while I was over there, I kept wondering what I'd missed. So, curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to swing back around. And wow, I'm glad I did. This spot turned out to be a total win. This Aussie branded Distillery was close to Wild Turkey so we decided to give them a try. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. They offer a variety of bourbons..mainly small batch and single barrel. One of their bourbons was distilled with Rosewater so I had to have a taste. It was OK but not worth the price in my opinion. They do sell bottles for purchase but they are not cheap. This distillery is veteran owned. If in the area,give them a try. read more

I found this Distillery while driving through the area and decided to stop in due to it being military veteran owned. I was able to do a tasting right away and the bartender was very knowledgeable and welcoming. I enjoyed all four spirits and ended up tasting pretty much their entire menu before leaving. I highly recommend stopping in for a tasting. Most of their products are small batch and unique. They are something to only find in the area but I do believe they current ship. read more

We decided to give this new, relatively unknown distillery a try during our bourbon trail trip from Virginia. What a gem we found! The owners and staff are passionate about their product and their customers. The bourbon cream tops Buffalo Trace, in my humble opinion, and tasted great tonight in our White Russians and will be awesome in our coffee tomorrow. The small batch six year and the bottled in bond eight year will be future purchases. We flew and don't have room in our luggage so we will have them shipped. Please visit! We had never been to Lawrenceburg Bourbon Co. before, but this trip we wanted to stop in and try it. We booked the Barrel to Bottle experience which is new. This is a wonderful experience for folks like us who have been on many distillery tours and are looking for something more personalized and interactive. Greg (the Founder and Master Distiller) and his whole team were amazing! The service level and friendliness of all made the day so much fun. We thieved and tasted from six different barrels, two of the control bourbon and then four finishes. Tasting with Greg was informative, his story is wonderful and he's very down to earth. The bourbon was excellent, and it was fun to bottle our own. We also bought their barreled maple syrup and a delicious rye.
