So I've only learned about this place from TJ from Brewzel a Bourbon Hunter on YouTube. This was on the way to Wild Turkey and we did a happy shack U-turn back to say hello before our scheduled tasting at WT. got to meet Katie the part owner. She is amazing, super friendly amazing hostess and wife of Greg the master distiller and other part owner. Great team and just a cool team working there. Veteran owned and operated. Really good juice and just a cool place to hang out and enjoy a drink, do a tasting of their gin, vodka or Bourbons. Try the food truck outdoors and hang. Take pictures with the team and buy their bottles to help support the small distilleries. They have excellent bourbons. You can bottle your own and get it signed. Absolutely a fantastic business to support

If you're in the bourbon trail, DON'T miss this place! Not one of the more well known distilleries (YET), so you can easily pass by this gem. If you do, you'll regret it. The bourbons here are quite good and the pours and flights are reasonably priced, but what really sets this place apart is the staff. Every person we encountered was committed to making our experience fantastic. They were attentive without being smothering and everyone we spoke to was knowledgeable and a real brand ambassador. The owner of this brand should be very proud and if my experience was any indicator of things to come, it won't be long before Larrikin is mentioned in the same breath with other more established top shelf bourbons. DONT MISS THIS ONE!

You know how sometimes you just stumble onto something great by accident? That was me with this place. I had zero plans to stop here didn't even know it existed until I drove past it on my way to the big, shiny distillery next door. But while I was over there, I kept wondering what I'd missed. So, curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to swing back around. And wow, I'm glad I did. This spot turned out to be a total win. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's small, laid-back, and veteran-owned.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff couldn't have been friendlier. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can grab a flight or a cocktail (I tried both), and there's plenty of seating at the bar in the back room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The front area doubles as a gift shop, so you can pick up a bottle or two to take home highly recommend doing that too. It's not the biggest distillery around, but that's part of its charm. It was a really nice surprise on my bourbon trail travels, and I'm so glad I decided to check it out. Sometimes the unplanned stops end up being the best ones!

Lovely place. Dog friendly. Staff were super welcoming and friendly. My hubby enjoyed the single barrel flight. I enjoyed a grapefruit mocktail. Our Great Dane, Athena, enjoyed the rug and the lovings from fellow patrons. We were able to meet the owner, Greg. Thanks Mate!

This Aussie branded Distillery was close to Wild Turkey so we decided to give them a try. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. They offer a variety of bourbons..mainly small batch and single barrel. One of their bourbons was distilled with Rosewater so I had to have a taste. It was OK but not worth the price in my opinion. They do sell bottles for purchase but they are not cheap. This distillery is veteran owned. If in the area, give them a try.

Came in for some custom tastes. Love coming here.

Hard to beat this place. We love coming here. Everyone is friendly and you always feel like family here. There's always something new to taste or experience. Plus if you tune into their Instagram page you can watch 'cocktails with Emily!' She's always putting new stuff together and it's always awesome. Check it out. If you're local, make sure this is a regular stop. We do!

Absolutely the best people. Jesse was our tasting knowledge person. She knocked it out of the park. The bourbons were amazing. The bottle in bond. The Rosewater, definitely recommend that. This place will be going places.

Really enjoy this establishment. Very friendly and inviting staff. The bourbon cream that they have is amazingly good.

I found this Distillery while driving through the area and decided to stop in due to it being military veteran owned. I was able to do a tasting right away and the bartender was very knowledgeable and welcoming. I enjoyed all four spirits and ended up tasting pretty much their entire menu before leaving. I highly recommend stopping in for a tasting. Most of their products are small batch and unique. They are something to only find in the area but I do believe they current ship.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cool place![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff made it amazing, along with great spirits. Definitely stop by if you are nearby-- or plan to go if you are within an hour.

If you're in the area, definitely take the time to stop here at this veteran owned distillery, you won't regret it! The owners are so sweet and genuine, making sure you thoroughly enjoy not only what you're tasting but the atmosphere as well. They take a personal approach at getting to know each costumer to see what they like and offer a wealth of knowledge regarding their bourbons. They also have wine, beer and house made cocktails too!

Way too new to give an honest review. People were friendly. Place was under construction, bourbon was too young.

Even though some of the buildings were under construction during the summer, the experience was still excellent. Our tour guide did a great job sharing the history of the distillery and explaining the different bourbon flavor profiles during the tasting. He made everything easy to understand, whether you were new to bourbon or had done a few distillery tours before. One of my favorite parts was the welcome cocktail at the beginning--it was really tasty and a fun way to kick off the tour. The tasting itself was well done, and the staff throughout the distillery were friendly and welcoming. The gift shop is also worth checking out. It's one of the larger ones we've visited, with lots of bourbon, merchandise, and unique goodies to browse. Overall, another great experience, and I'd definitely recommend stopping here if you're touring the Bourbon Trail.

The tour was great, even though we had terrible weather with a big storm coming through. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and answered all of my questions without hesitation. The tasting room is super nice and there is plenty of space for a big group so you aren't crowded. I loved that they teach you about the different mashbills and how to tell which is which on their bottles. They have a lot of great items in the gift shop - I bought my dad a shirt and also got one for myself, along with a little baby snifter. Come check it out, you'll be glad that you did!

Out of all of them, Willett ended up being our favorite. We had Michael as our tour guide, and he was fantastic. The tour felt a little different from the others because we got to taste different bourbons throughout the tour instead of all at once at the end. Michael was gregarious, funny, and a great storyteller. He kept everyone engaged while sharing the history of the distillery, the bourbon-making process, and plenty of entertaining stories along the way. One of my favorite parts was seeing all of the photos of the distillery cats at the beginning of the tour. As cat lovers, we absolutely loved that. This distillery has clearly been blessed by some very cute feline employees! We enjoyed tasting the different bourbons, and while the gift shop wasn't huge, it had some really unique items. We even brought home a catnip toy for our two kitties. If you're visiting the Bardstown area, I highly recommend adding Willett to your list. It was easily our favorite distillery experience of the trip.
