After going back and forth, and showing them the proof of payment, they said we were good to go and I moved on. This process literally happened probably three times. However, my credit report was just hit with a bill from Legacy that is two years old. Writing this is painful because I genuinely liked Dr Heaton. He's great and I would love to continue going there but there are some serious problems inside of the billing department that are now directly hitting my credit. Three days later I can barely see, my eyes cannot open the eye lid covers half of my eyes!!!!! I called the office and was told there was nothing that can be done about this. I'm not sure if the receptionist I talked to in person was the same as the one on the phone but she was cold and short with me. When I got there though I was told I couldn't be seen. " I watched you walk in. and I looked at the clock and you are one minute passed 10min." the receptionist told me. " I'll call back and ask if they will see you still." And then..." sorry you are too late to be seen today." Are you kidding me!!?!? no one in the whole clinic, it's 7:20 am and you won't see me for being a min late. Intermountain health doesn't care about their patients. And a "Sorry" with a nasty smirk on your face is the nail for me. Don't waste your time.

I've used the Bountiful Instacare over a couple of decades for those medical situations that either…read moredon't require a specialist or those that would require an actual surgery or life saving treatment. Things like a puncture wound, an infection, a respiratory condition, material in the eye; or even a Covid test. For those things the cost for treatment is much less than the emergency room and they aren't putting your life in jeopardy by taking a bit time time to deal with. You can typically expect a wait in the lobby after checking in with the friendly staff. After your expected wait, you'll be called into the patient treatment area by a nurse. Most of those I've met are quite friendly and caring. They'll take some vitals, ask you a few questions about your medical history and in my case, yesterda, was quite empathetic about my condition. Once they leave your patient room, the wait begins. Yesterday, it took about 1/2 hour for a light tap on the door after which a youngish ginger doctor appeared in my room. He then asked me to explain what was going on and after I described how sick I felt, and how long it had lasted, he basically just dismissed me and said I was on top of the sickness and it would be better over the next five days. He did a quick breathing check and looked down my throat. After his expressing his diagnosis of an upper respiratory virus, he suggested getting over the counter meds and left through the sliding door, basically just writing me off after a 2 minute checkup, if it even lasted that long. His demeanor was dismissive and arrogant. It seems that Instacare gets second tier doctors to work there as many or their doctors just seem to be miserable people with poor people skills. I really wish IMC would provide an out the door survey to pinpoint these bad actors in their staff. As for me, I was left dissatisfied by my appointment and felt it could have been handled more professionally. I suppose I'll continue to use this facility out of necessity but only when I really feel I have to as my experiences at Instacare have in general been sub-par in their overall quality.

To whom you have acne scars, you know the struggles. I've done multiple sessions of microneedling, CO2 laser, emateix etc. throughout the past five years. Unfortunately, those procedures did not help too much given how much money I've spent. One day I saw someone posted about subcision is an effective method for rolling scars which is what I have. After some research, I've found Dr. Taylor! I'm so happy I did. I live in the Midwest so the initial consultation was virtual, Dr. Taylor's staff, Sharene was very helpful, efficient and made the consultation smoothly. I flew to Utah for the procedure which included chemical peel, subcision, and fractional ablative laser. The procedure itself seems very scary from all the videos I've seen online, but Dr. Taylor made sure it was painless. One thing to note, during the procedure my lips got dry and Dr. Taylor asked the nurse to put some Vaseline on. That really showed me how much he cares about his patients! I stayed in Utah for a week for the some followups before heading home. My face was red for couple months, and some numbness due to the tumescent anesthesia, but nothing painful. I'd say my skin was fully recovered from the procedure after three months. The improvement on my cheeks is probably 50-60%. The forehead is not so much, but that's a tough area to treat. Overall, I'm happy that I went to Dr. Taylor and I'll definitely return to his clinic for more service!

My acne scars…read morereally weren't even that bad I have some box car and icepick scarring on my cheeks and a few chicken pop mark indentations on my forehead. $7000 wasted - still have the same scarring on my cheeks and, even though my poc marks do look better than before, what once was a relatively smooth forehead, has been left textured and indented with needle marks. Overall, the texture of my skin is worse and I am highly disappointed. As nice as they came across, i cannot recommend Dr. Taylor's practice.
