After going back and forth, and showing them the proof of payment, they said we were good to go and I moved on. This process literally happened probably three times. However, my credit report was just hit with a bill from Legacy that is two years old. Writing this is painful because I genuinely liked Dr Heaton. He's great and I would love to continue going there but there are some serious problems inside of the billing department that are now directly hitting my credit. To the Legacy Derm Dept - I just paid Bonneville Collections. You won. You got paid (again.) I'm genuinely disappointed and shocked that you would do this despite my being such a long term patient.

The office is perfectly clean and neat and decorated with a peaceful feel. Everyone you meet in the office, is so friendly and helpful, and the doctors are the best in the business. My husband has multiple skin cancers and has to have MOHS surgery often, they take such good care of him, and he actually loves going, and visiting with everyone in the office and the doctors. We both highly recommend these amazing doctors and want to thank them and their entire office staff for their kindness to us with every visit.

I saw a Dr. Amy for Botox. I mentioned that I had headaches and was there for THAT purpose…read more Well.......I will not return to this office, or Dr. Amy, as she does not listen very well. I asked her NOT to place the Botox too low as my right eye droops, that is also were the cluster headache is. After receiving Botox for over 20 yrs for headaches I THINK I DO KNOW WHERE THE PLACEMENT SHOULD GO. Dr. Amy mentioned forehead wrinkles which were NOT an issue that I was concerned about. Three days later I can barely see, my eyes cannot open the eye lid covers half of my eyes!!!!! I called the office and was told there was nothing that can be done about this. I will just have to allow it to wear off. That is VERY disappointing...especiallay since I have had more headaches....guess she MISSED THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF MY VISIT. So I am still lifting my eye lids up by hand to apply eyeshadow. Three more months of this is not fun. I look drunk and DON'T EVEN DRINK P.S. Ladies if you want facial injections, for wrinkles do not go here. Dr. Amy uses the filler Sculptra on herself and not patients. I did some reading up on how to minimize bad Botox (heat will help) and read that Sculptra filler is the best one to use, but they do not use it at their office. Good Luck in finding the care that you require

My acne scars…read morereally weren't even that bad I have some box car and icepick scarring on my cheeks and a few chicken pop mark indentations on my forehead. $7000 wasted - still have the same scarring on my cheeks and, even though my poc marks do look better than before, what once was a relatively smooth forehead, has been left textured and indented with needle marks. Overall, the texture of my skin is worse and I am highly disappointed. As nice as they came across, i cannot recommend Dr. Taylor's practice.

I went to Dr. Huerth in November for a medium depth chemical peel to treat my melasma. As a RN…read moremyself, I have never before experienced so much unprofessionalism for a business and believe my treatment was below the standard of care. Dr. Huerth used glycolic acid and I believe that it went too deep which has caused permanent scarring, hypopigmentation, scar banding, and permanent nerve damage. It was also extremely painful that I felt my face was melting down to the bone and I have a high pain tolerance and have done multiple laser treatments in years past. She did two passes of the acid over my face and I remember she scrubbed far too excessively on both sides of my chin, which resulted in burning down to the dermis. I now have bilateral scarring and nerve damage and was put on 7 different medications thinking that it was possibly an infection. I asked for it to be swabbed because I was concerned it was MRSA. She didn't seem too concerned. Maybe because she knew it wasn't an infection and was a chemical burn. I even asked her if it was. After it was swabbed, the lab results were that it was normal bacterial flora on the face. This also solidifies that it wasn't an infection and was instead improper technique and excessive application of the acid resulting in nerve damage. Infection doesn't occur exactly bilaterally on either side of my mouth. I was scrupulous with my after care as well because of my medical background. I missed important meetings, family events, and now have a tremendous amount of anxiety, sadness, panic attacks, uncontrollable tears, and self confidence and self consciousness issues. I couldn't workout for a month because it was so ugly and scary to look at. The whole idea of the peel was to help my face have less hyperpigmentation so that I can wear less makeup. Now, it is impossible to cover and I have white patches on both sides. I've had multiple people point out that they thought my makeup wasn't blending in properly. To put it lightly, I am devastated and reached out to Dr. Huerth showing her progress pics and I grew increasingly concerned. She messaged me and stated that I wouldn't face any permanent scarring. Well she was wrong. I asked her kindly to reimburse me for the cost of the treatment, the scar serum she suggested I get that was around $250, the 7 meds that did little to help, and the gas of having to go to her office between 4 and 6 times total. I am a single mom to 3 kids. I sold items on FB marketplace to save up enough money to afford this procedure. Not only was it done improperly, she refused to compensate me, stopped answering any messages, wouldn't call me back, and I have asked for my medical records now 2 times without any word back. I'd write more about the specific mixture of acid, but I haven't been able to obtain my medical records. I feel they are purposely ignoring me in hopes that I will get frustrated and forget the whole thing ever happened. The whole thing has been extremely traumatizing and I would stay away from this business and any procedures by any of the doctors here. Several years ago I got a fraxel laser done by Dr. Taylor also for my melasma and before starting I said be careful my eyebrows are tattooed on and when I got home, the tail of my eyebrow was burned off! I called back and asked why none of the assistants said anything or Dr. Taylor and they claimed they weren't aware it happened. As a result, I had to get my eyebrows microbladed again and requested reimbursement for the procedure. They did reimburse me, but you'd think they'd be more careful when many women have permanent makeup. These doctors are subpar and more concerned with money than patient satisfaction. I am traumatized for life by my experience at Gateway Aesthetic Institute. Attached are progress pics of my procedure. The one holding my cheek is current status at 7 months post procedure. Still numb. Been to 3 medical professionals including another derm, a facial plastic surgeon and an oral surgeon and they all agree that the facial scarring and nerve damage is due to the chemical peel and how it was performed.
