Do or Die Mysteries - Crab cake with fries

They don't recommend for kids/teens, because people are joking and talking ish and some of the improv could take a spicy turn at any moment. The chef and the actors walk around to the tables and introduce themselves. People come here to let out a laugh and unwind. The Food: Delicious! The crab cake sandwich was big/fresh all lumps with crispy hot fries that did not disappoint. The package comes with several options, from homestyle meat loaf to Mediterranean salad with chicken stuffed pita that my friend said was really good. You get 2 courses and a non-alcohol beverage. Dessert was good, a dark fudge cake with strawberries and whipped cream, enjoyable. The Drinks: The 2 martini's I had weren't blended well. I would stick with wine or something like a rum & coke. The Storyline: Creative and funny, about a dating show where the two contestants need to stay together for 3 years to get the million-dollar jackpot. Only issue, there's a love triangle. So, you can imagine who all had motives to secure the bag. They bring the audience into the story with question prompts and even had me in the hot seat for questioning by a detective. So hilarious! Looking for something different to do and you feel like meeting people over good food and theater, THIS IS IT!

You can participate or not in the show, as much or as little as you choose. The non-alcoholic beverages are included but they do offer alcohol for purchase. The servers were super and the cast was amazing. You can heckle the cast, ask questions of the suspects or just sit back and watch the performance. The show was full of humor and some double-entendres. The restaurant was a little chilly so where something a little heavier or bring a coat. Best 3.5 hours I've spent in a while and totally worth the ticket price. The whole show takes place in and around the diners making for an up close and personal experience. Don't miss going to one of their shows. Totally worth it!

We were so lucky he agreed to drive well outside of his usual area to perform. His illusions were mesmerizing, and he expertly handled a room full of inquisitive and skeptical kids by getting most of them involved in his performance. He gave a great message in the end of the performance also, drawing on the themes of inclusion and acceptance from the Harry Potter stories, which the adults present also mentioned as being a highlight. We cannot say enough great things about his professionalism and performance and we would highly recommend him for any event!

Vick had a wonderful story line and great tricks that kept everyone's attention! We had some guests that are very skeptical of magic tricks, and he still blew them away! I'm so happy we had him! We ended up starting his show a little late, unfortunately, but he was incredibly patient, set-up, and mingled with a few guests while he waited! He then put on a 45-50 minute show for all of us, and included some guests, my father, and us in the show! I highly recommend him for ANY event -- weddings, birthdays (children AND adult), social events, etc. Thanks, Vick!

I found a Kids Paint Workshop and even though I was unsure of what to expect, I booked it and showed up with my girl. I am beyond excited that this center exists near me! Staff informed me it's an old school that was turned into this multi use art center. There were multiple classes going on, dance, art, etc. The attended workshop was such a pleasant surprise. It was affordable and my kids really enjoyed it and completed a real piece of art to display in our home! The instructor was professional, friendly, and patient with the children. Even though my son did not meet the age requirement, she still allowed him to participate (I paid and stayed to assist him). Afterwards, we were able to walk through the 2 free Art Exhibits on display which boasted beautiful work that was also for sale. My kids were so intrigued. They were amazed with the materials that were used & interested, asking questions and commenting on the visuals. I truly appreciate this center exposing children to the arts at a level they can comprehend. Don't hesitate to book a class or check out an exhibit! You will not be disappointed!

There was an old musky smell that permeated all throughout as if the building hadn't opened in a while. Other than that it appeared clean and the seats appeared to be new. The rest rooms are located in the front of the building as soon as you enter, one on either side. There is a nice size lobby, the comedians were selling T-shirts, CD's, and odds and ends. I did not see a concession stand.

Recently finished Mike Harris' Intro to Improv 101 course (7 week course)- it was a blast. Had fun and learned a lot. As a student you get to go to all BIG's shows for free which is nice, good learning opportunity. They have various types of improv shows every Thurs-Sat nights, been to several and enjoyed them. Highly recommend taking a course or seeing a show. Am now in Michael Furr's standup comedy class which has been amazing so far. Aesthetics wise, it's no luxury theatre (they rely on donations and grants to stay operating, so this is understandable!) but it gets the job done and is homey. Convenient location near a few local bars. Parking Tip: If attending an evening show, get there early if you want to find easy street parking right out front (cheap, pay via kiosk or Parkmobile app). There's a parking garage across the street that's $5 if you tell them you're there for the theatre.

I'm glad we picked a weekday to attend. It was less crowded. We were a party of two. The gate opens at 6pm. You are not allowed to enter seating until 6:45. Show started at 7pm. We looked around the gift shop area & decided to buy a drink at the bar. I purchased a hard apple cider drink and I saw a cup with lights that I liked that lite up different colors. Separate price of course. It was so cool. my husband ordered a beer and he ordered a 25 oz mug with the beer it came to $25.00. My souvenir cup with drink included was $18.75. We were in the black and white group. Which was the VIP Queen Royalty. It came with two pictures. A lanyard and of course your crown. It was a good package deal. If you are affiliated with the military. You get a nice discount on the tickets. We arrived so early that we were seated on the first row. So good for that. Now on to the food. Everything was pippin hot. My chicken was seasoned well. Nice and juicy. I enjoyed it. As well as the corn on the cob. Which was very sweet. I enjoyed the bread. Didn't care for the flavor of the tomato soup. I'm picky with that. It gets a little messy eating with your hands. So keep that in mind and I was told you can request utensils. The water and non alcohol refreshments were included. Didn't much care for the desserts. One was a slice of a birthday cake coated with candy and the other was a mini chocolate eclaire. Our sever was super nice. We were seated at table two. I really enjoyed the show. Very entertaining. Definitely glad we finally checked it out.

The food is passed out and you are expected to eat with your fingers. Please pack your own silverware if using your fingers is not something you want to do. I also had to wait for the server to bring us silverware which took some time. There are alcoholic beverages to purchase for adults of course along with sovernier cups which my kids begged for. The food is just ok. The show is very entertaining and I was very happy with the show. The entertainment performers were very gracious with taking tons of pictures after the show. I will definitely recommend this for a family outing.

REVIEW for THE HALL at LIVE ONLY!…read more Came for a date night concert. The Hall at Live is a decent size venue for concerts. We had floor seating and there really isn't a bad seat in the venue. The entrance is located in the casino. Upon entering the venue, they have a bar in the lobby area and one in the concert hall. If you have drinks from the casino in metal or glass containers you have to transfer them to plastic cups. The seating in the venue was not the most comfortable, but good enough for a less than 2 hour concert and they are connected and you can't separate them. During our concert, the sound was good for the first two acts but the main act was experiencing some technical issues in the beginning but the sound did get a little better, but not as good as the previous acts. The parking is the same as for the casino, which is a large attached parking garage with elevators and stairs to the lower level where the concert hall is. They also have valet parking available. All in all a good venue for concerts, but they need to work on the sound and I hope this was a once in a blue moon issue as I would like to attend more concerts here in the future.
