WORST Please please do not buys cars from this dealership,, I purchased a brand new ford explorer 2020, they gave the car without wiper rubber attached to it and when I turned on my wiper the metal scratched the windshield. I went to dealership and complained about it, They fixed the rubber and told me they will replace the windshield but its 8 months after the car purchase, no one is responding. Meaning they can sell you damaged car and promise you to replace but they will never get back once you have payed the money. After thinking about it for a bit I decided to purchase the vehicle and was then told that the price was a mistake and actually 39K, even though it is advertised online for the price they verbally gave me. My order was never placed. Waited 10 months! Ordered Hybrid Explorer March 2022. Car arrived in July. As I was getting ready to pick up my new car, I was told that it was damaged coming out of car wash. I was devastated. My family told me not to buy the car. I had them put in a new order. My amazing sister let me borrow her sons car. I called Monday to check on the status of my car. My original sales rep, Scott told me that the order was never placed. His manager forgot to hit send. He told me that they were going to expedite my next order. It was too risky for me. I could not go without a car for another 6 months. I asked for a refund of my deposit. I purchased an Explorer from another dealership today. Frustrating 10 months! However, I want to give a shout out to Scott Litton. I knew that these errors were not his fault. He always had to give me the bad news but was alway professional and genuine. I kept calm because of him. The world needs more people like Scott. Update: I received a call from the new sales manager. When i get there they said that the loan was now 100$ more a month than what our signed deal was. I said HELL NO! We have signed deal.... They told me they have 15 days to do the loan. So I had to give them back the car. Im SOO F*@%ING PISSED! How can they just go back on a signed deal?? Oh and because they didnt pay off what i was trading in I now have a LATE on my car loan now. I bought a certified used 2020 Toyota Avalon TRD from Ford Draper. I am an out of town buyer from Las Vegas and made sure to ask a lot of questions about the vehicle before flying out and purchasing. I was assured that because it was a "Certified" vehicle, everything would be in working order with no issues. After arriving I was able to test drive and didn't notice any issues. I went ahead and purchased the vehicle, and began my 400+ mile drive home to Las Vegas. Everything was fine until I had to make my first exit off of the freeway when I noticed my vehicle began to shake when braking. I called Draper and was blown off and told to check with my warranty. I spoke to the sales supervisor and he said he would speak to his boss and let me know what they could do. My calls stopped being answered and I received one text message saying I'd be called back and never was. I ended up having to take it in and had to pay out of pocket to fix the issue. I purchased my vehicle from this dealership April of 2018. About a month ago, I got my oil changed at a different dealership and they let me know I had a rear oil leak. I contacted Larry H Miller Ford Lincoln Draper to schedule a service appointment to have my vehicle's oil leak repaired under my manufacture warranty. About a week after I got my car back and they had fixed the rear oil leak, I was driving when my breaks & steering locked up. Thankfully, I had a weird feeling not to take the freeway that day and I'm so glad that I didn't, because if I had, I'd probably be dead right now. After taking my car to a local Ford dealership, the service manager called me after fixing it and said that when Larry H Miller Ford Lincoln Draper was fixing my oil leak they had to drop the sub-frame and disconnect all the sensors. When they put the car back together, they didn't connect the one sensor all the way, so during the week that I drove it it came lose and that's why my steering/breaks went out. I contacted Larry H Miller Ford Lincoln Draper and asked if they could pay the tow fee ($215) that I had to pay to have my car towed to that local Ford dealership and they refused to pay it. This hasn't been the only issue that my fiance and I have had with this dealership's service department. If you decide to work with dealership to purchase a vehicle: ask for Sean McFarland!!! He is the best SALES PERSON we've ever worked with! However, I'd strongly recommend getting your service done elsewhere, once you've purchased the vehicle that is! read more

Here is more, the truck is sold with a oil leak, noticed oil stains on my driveway the very first day, another missed inspection from the so-called certified punch-list. Also, truck is sold with a programmer, to compensate for bigger tires, I get it. You guys had someone do the lift and wheels/tires but left it programmed in the performance mode. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. In December, I came here knowing what truck I was interested in. When I talked to the sales woman and told her which vehicle, they had no idea where the key was and it took about 45 minutes before I could even test drive it. During the purchasing process of this truck, I ended up getting the Total Auto Care Comprehensive Package (Which they said was the best warranty package they offer). After taking the truck home, I followed up with the dealership a few days later to get some work done on it. They said they didn't want to cover this work before the purchase of the vehicle and that I would have to wait 30 days before the warranty package would kick in and potentially cover this work. Within that 30 day time frame, I had visited the dealership repeatedly. I had the truck for 2 weeks before I noticed that there was a leak on back drivers side ceiling. I took my truck to the dealership thinking that the leak was possibly coming from the back window. The service department told me the leak was actually coming from the third brake light above the window... Since the warranty package had not kicked in yet, I paid 230 dollars for them to fix the brake light and supposedly take care of the leak. The very next day, I took the truck to the car wash and discovered that the leak was still there. I called the dealership and had to take my truck in yet again. They told me that they wanted to keep the truck over the weekend in order to fix the window leak. Conveniently enough, they were out of loaner cars that day and told me that I would have to pay for my own rental vehicle for the time that my truck was there getting fixed. The one positive of my experience was that they ended up getting my truck back to me later that day. A week later I noticed a grinding noise coming from the front wheel well. I took the truck back to the dealership to have them look at it. After inspecting the truck, they said they couldn't mimic the noise I was hearing but upon inspection, they noticed that I have an exhaust manifold leak that will need to be fixed. At this point I still had a week left before the warranty would kick in so I decided to wait and get it fixed after the warranty kicked in. I asked the service representative, Chris, if he would check in with the warranty plan to see if the repair on the exhaust manifold would be covered. Chris contacted me 4 days later to tell me that the repair would not be covered under the warranty. When I asked him why, he said "I don't know". I was under the impression that this warranty plan was the best one they offered and would imagine that the exhaust repairs would be covered. About a week or so later, I decided that I was going to call Total Auto Care myself to find out more details of what is covered and what isn't under their warranty plan. When I asked why the exhaust manifold wasn't covered, the representative told me the "exhaust manifold repairs are 100 percent covered under this plan". The rep told me that it looked like the dealership partially looked into the plan to see if it was covered but never fully followed through with it to find out whether or not it was going to be covered. This rep also mentioned that the warranty went into effect AS SOON AS I SIGNED THE PAPERWORK. They do not have a 30 day wait period at all. Total Auto Care got in contact with Ford and let them know that the repair was covered and they need to get in contact with me to set up the appointment for repair. I still have not heard from the dealership regarding this. I decided that after dealing with all this back and forth and feeling like I have been completely jerked around, that I would go in to the dealership and talk with Phil, the general manager, before writing this review. When I showed up at the dealership, the salesman told me he was going to let Phil know I was there to talk with him. I waited 15-20 minutes before asking the salesman about how long it was going to be... at that point he told me his sales manager was looking for him. After an hour had gone by, I went and talked to another employee and that's when he told me that Phil wasn't even there that day. I have wasted so much time, energy and fuel going back and forth to deal with all these issues. They have showed an extreme amount of laziness and unprofessionalism to the point that I will never be dealing with this dealer ship again, nor will I ever recommend this business to anyone. This review is for the service department -- they are highly unprofessional. The sales department does their job well and this doesn't reflect on them. Pros: At least they eventually get the work done.. Cons: Highly unprofessional, unresponsive, dishonest, and so on. My 2016 F150 with under 50k miles, had two recalls listed for it and it was time to have the oil changed. So, I reached out to schedule an appointment -- it took me four months to get a callback/response. When I took it in the time before they told me the oil change was done; so, I went out to pick up the truck and pay for the oil change, and they told me that they hadn't even started on it yet -- I had been waiting for three hours already and was told that they would have it to me within two hours tops. They were then very rude and also said it was my fault for being impatient (I had nicely asked if it was ready since they told me it was). After that experience I was hesitant to schedule anything through them again; but, I was told to reach out to the manager over service to schedule next time and that it would be different. It was so much worse... Williams Reams (manager) helped me schedule a time to come in (after four months of trying to schedule the normal way). That was the last of his help or him even responding -- can't expect much from anyone under a manager who isn't responsive I guess. My F150 has had all of its regular maintenance on time and has been well taken care of -- they told me that it was "spewing oil" and that they would need to repair it for three days. It has been snowing recently, and oil is VERY easy to see on gray metal/snow/concrete and there was NO oil anywhere to be found on my truck prior to me taking it in -- so I am confident saying that the damage was done at the dealership. Things happen, but they blamed me and made me pay for it. Beyond this terrible experience, they told me that they would schedule an Uber to take me from work to my home since they were going to be keeping the the truck for a few days -- they scheduled the Uber from my work to LHM Draper instead of my home. The Uber driver looked at the destination when I jumped in and laughed since it was less than two blocks away from my work. He then told me to get out of his car and laughed while he drove away (kind of funny looking back but not funny at the time). I had to wait over an hour for another Uber to make it my way due to traffic/demand. I reached out via text, email, and phone call to LHM Draper service department and had no response (this was during working hours at 3:30/4 PM in the afternoon). TLDR: If you value your time, money, and dignity go to another Ford Dealership for service on your vehicle as this one is operated by people who don't know how to be service professionals. read more

Went in with a bank already, just had to pick out a car, which we did. Asked the sales guy REPEATEDLY and he confirmed REPEATEDLY to NOT pull my credit as I already had a bank. Picked out a vehicle and did paper work and left, next day my credit monitoring app notified me my credit had been pulled multiple times. Then started getting letters from banks about Larry Miller Ford Draper inquiries on my credit. Texted the Sales rep and he denied they pulled it till I sent pics of the letters and then he said he'd check into it... two weeks later still no response. When we call and ask to speak to a sales manager, we get sent to a voicemail, still no calls back. Then... check engine light comes on so we take it in to Larry Miller Dodge (the vehicle was a used Dodge Durango) and they won't help us and said we "have to take it to the dealership we purchased it from" so we take it to Larry Miller Ford Draper and the service rep says we have to take it back to LM Dodge and I told him they sent us there. He looks into the check engine issue and it's an oil pressure sensor. They fix it and send us on our way and I start to drive home and the check engine light comes on AGAIN and we take it back and they said they need to keep it over night. Next day I get a text stating sales needs to speak with me so I go in and they said they had no record of a service contract / warranty and said I needed to go get the USB drive they gave me to prove we got a warranty. So I drove home and got and drove back (even though they gave me the drive they couldn't find my paper work??? Odd.) and then they said the warranty isn't effective for the first 30 days and they won't cover the "bad valve and it will be $330 to fix" and when we called back to talk to someone no one will talk to us and we get sent to voicemail. This is all within the first 3 weeks of owning this vehicle. I regret ever coming there to get a vehicle. I truly wish I could just take the car back and get my money back and just be done with Larry Miller Ford Draper. The way we've been treated has been terrible. read more

Took my truck to Larry Miller Ford for a starting problem. Made an appointment and by the end of the day they still had not looked at it. The next day they called and said that the starter motor needed to be replaced. They quoted me 600 dollars and said the part would need to be ordered. I picked my truck up for a second opinion as it's a 2016 and has fairly low miles. Took it to an independent and was told the starter is fine but the battery was weak. Replaced the battery $130.00 and haven't had a problem since. This is not the first terrible experience I've had with this dealership. It all started with the purchase and has been a nightmare ever since. This is the last time I will ever buy a vehicle from any of the Larry Miller dealerships and definitely the last time I will have maintenance or repairs done there. So occasionally I like to look at new cars, because I'm a man, and cars are neat. I click on LHM Draper to look through their new car inventory while I was on my break today, in order to gain access to their inventory they want to farm my information. Normally I get emails and phone calls, I delete them or don't answer them. Today LHM Ford in Draper repeatedly called me (3 Times) within 2 minutes, when I declined the call each time. Then began to text me. The person on the other end was rude and dismissive, even calling me the wrong name. And also emailed me.... seriously desperate to make a sale, I'm guessing. I'm only posting this because its a good way to vent my frustration at the state of customer service and lack of respectful communication in this day and age. read more

I purchased my 2020 Explorer Platinum, the premium Explorer, brand new. I love my Explorer and had no issues during the entire purchasing process. Then time came to have it serviced, ugh...., horrible service reps. Brought it in for wheel repair which I paid an extra warranty fee for. Got my vehicle back and the wheels looked worse than when I took it in. The service department is absolutely horrible in public relations and getting back with their customers. They always will ask you to give them a five star review and then do nothing to earn this. The last time I took my vehicle in for a recall, I dealt with Taylor who was absolutely awesome. He kept me informed all the way through the process of repair and communicated with me on everything each step of the way! I have been through at least three service reps who could care less of what they do or how they treat you, until I got Taylor. I always ask for a loaner vehicle because of my job and I am always told they don't have any. When I dealt with Taylor, he told me they have 60 + loaner vehicles which were all taken away by Ford. So, I guess they do not give loaner vehicles out anymore, what on new vehicles being repaired, WOW! I have known the Miller family for years and I know Larry (would be turning in his grave) and Gail would not put up with these types of personalities working for them in the service department. I have read almost all of these one star reviews and I pray Gail Miller looks at them some day. If this dealership wants repeat business they better set up PR training ASAP. Ford customers deserve much better than what this dealership can deliver with the exception of Taylor. Taylor, I wish and hope one day you become the service manager or GM and turn things around for us loyal Ford customers. Well the guys seems pretty nice. The salesman was super nice. The atmosphere was yuck. It's just not a place that seems welcoming to a woman. It's testosterone city in there. The car they brought out for me to see was so dirty it was disgusting and as a woman, there's just no way. I did try to talk to the sales guy and tell him what I thought. I think I offended him. I really was trying to give some constructive criticism. It was in no way personal because he was very likable. The "numbers" guy didn't even try to address the issues with the car. We purchased a truck last month from this dealership. What a disappointment. Salesman was more interested in us getting the Ford app than showing us anything about the vehicle. (Called us almost daily until we installed it so he could get paid an incentive.) He forgot to put our temporary tag in so we had to drive back to Draper from Eagle Mountain even though he'd told us he lived in our neighboring town and when we asked him to bring it to us he would not. Got the wrong plates. When sent a survey to rate our experience we were truthful and said the customer service was horrible. Who do we get a call from a few days later??? The salesman! Asking to change our review to 5 stars so he could get paid. He said he'd get us a free tank of gas or a free car wash for the better rating. If we felt we had had a great experience and great customer service we would've given the 5 stars. We buy a new vehicle every 2 years. It will not be with any Larry H Miller dealership in the future. Never buy anything from this dealership. They are scam artists. Bought the car in 2014 new lease. In 2017 decided to keep the car, so I bought a 5 year extended warranty from them. So I bought the warranty in 2017, should have been good till 2022. Wrong , they went all the way back to the start date of 2014. So basically they sold me a 5 year warranty, that was only good for 2 years. I'm so mad that ford screw me like this. Will never buy a ford again. So I called since they were trying to make it right. Spoke to a manager. He looked into it, but nothing could be done from this point on. So I suggest if you still want to do business with this dealership, make sure you read the contract to the smallest details before you sign. Customer Service is horrible. The Worst. Bought a "Ford Certified" F350. From the time I drove it off the lot it had electrical problems. Called Immediately about the problems. They couldn't get me in for 3 weeks. Even though I just bought it. 3 Weeks later I took it in. They had it for a week with very poor communication. After a week they tell me they need to order parts that are on backorder for 2 months. After waiting another month, the "parts" come in. As of now, they have had by vehicle for 5 weeks! They never call me with updates. When I reach to them they just tell me that they cant figure out what is causing the problems and are waiting for Ford for instructions. No one cares. I have only owned the $70000 truck for 3 months and it has been in for repair for a total 6 weeks with no end in sight. read more

I bought a new Lincoln Aviator last Aug here and it has been in the shop 33 days so far for warranty work. Not to mention they won't provide a loaner car half the time and their service is terrible. For example my car is in for more warranty repairs this week, no loaner car was provided, and only after multiple attempts by me to contact them for the status do they finally reply saying it's been done for two days but they never let me know! I have kids and work, what am I supposed to do without my car and them not bothering to communicate when the work is done so it sits there for days when I should be driving it. read more

Brought my 2005 Ford F-250 Powerstroke in to get an offer from them to buy it from me. Took them 2 hours just to get to the truck even though I had an appointment, then it took them 2 hours to look over the truck. After all was said and done, the Manager came back and said that they wouldn't be able to make an offer on it because I had deleted the EGR. I told them that I hadn't. He then opened the hood and pointed to the aftermarket coolant filter kit I had on the truck (the kit filters coolant that helps extend the life of the coolant that can lead to an ERG failure. That's diesel 101 folks). He told me that my EGR was deleted when I had the coolant filter kit installed. I then informed the Ford Manager where the EGR was located, pointed and showed him the actual EGR (that was still on the truck). He was obviously confused and no idea about the engine. He then told me that they had already ran their paper work on buying the truck, and they couldn't start it over and that I would have to come back another day. So instead of simply asking me what was on or not on the truck (since they had no idea what they were looking at or doing), they decided to make an assumption, a wildly incorrect assumption. They wasted my time and lost my business for good. These so called "Ford experts" have no idea what they are doing with your Ford vehicles, they probably couldn't tell a spark plug from an oil filter. Take your vehicles, especially your diesels somewhere else folks, Mickey Mouse is running the show over there. read more

Not a fan of being forced to pay $500 for a theft insurance policy when buying a new car. Was told by Sales Manager that everyone for every car has to pay this, no exceptions. So if your car gets stolen, you get $2500. Was really amazed that the manager was able to keep a straight face when defending this. UPDATE: Just a quick PSA: Went to my local dealer (Larry H Miller Ford Draper Utah) yesterday to convert my reservation to an order. Everything was going well until I questioned a $499 add on for "Vehicle Theft Assistance". I tried to push back and get it removed with both the salesman and the Sales Manager. Neither were budging so I just said it was fine, let's get the Bronco ordered. That evening I received an automated text asking for a review of my experience. Hmm, well they said they would sell it for MSRP (but would not put it in writing), but they did refuse to remove a bogus theft insurance policy that pays out $2,500 if your vehicle gets stolen. Considering both those points, I gave a 3 out of 5 star review. Next day (today), I realize that the 2022 Badlands does not come with the HD Front Bumper and I forgot to add it. I called my salesman and asked if I could modify the order. He said yes, but I had to come in to sign new paperwork. I was there within the hour. Once there and while waiting for my new paperwork, the Dealership's General Manager, Phil Pecoraro, walked by and asked if I was David. I said yes and he asked to speak to me in an office. In the office, he asked if I had just left a 3 star review. I said yes and he immediately cut me off to explain that he decided who gets Broncos and he will make sure that I never get one or I will be one of the last to get one unless I change my review to a 5 star review. I had no response.. I was in shock! As he left the office, he turned around to state that he can sell Broncos all day and that I came to them for one and they were helping me. I went back to the empty desk to collect my thoughts. I called another local dealer to explain my position and they gave me the Ford Hotline number (1-800-392-3673). After explaining what had just happened, they transferred me to marketing. Fast forward an hour and I think they have successfully transferred my reservation to the other dealership. As far as my google review, I have changed that to a 1 star review and will be adding these details soon. I am not even mad.. I walk into the dealership and there it was a 2017 Raptor in the exact Lightning Blue color I wanted with every option I had been dreaming of. I had to slap my self in the head to realize I wasn't hallucinating. I wasn't. Phil the Manager came out and offered me a fair deal. I low balled him and he laughed. This was hands down the worst customer service we've ever encountered. We came to the dealership to look at a specific vehicle. They only had one on the lot. They made us sit and answer several questions before letting us see the car (questions about financing etc...which didn't apply since we would pay cash). Then Leann made several snide remarks about us not buying a car that day so it wasn't worth her time (reminded me of the movie Pretty Woman--"big mistake") and parted ways with an extremely sarcastic comment to us. Purchased a new truck here a couple years ago. Great experience. We got a great deal on our trade in and the new truck. No complaints. Then we tried to use the warranty. We have taken the truck in three times well four now. Twice while under the bumper to bumper warranty for minor issues. (The radio control on the steering wheel was sticking) each time they "couldn't diagnose" so wouldn't do anything about it. Until it was out of warranty really not working and we had to pay money to get it fixed. Edited: we've continued to have work done on this truck and things are better. Other than occasional frustration and things that should have been caught but weren't it's been ok. I'm increasing my review from a 2 to a 3. The warranty issue was frustrating but now as long as we are paying attention it seems like everything is ok. They don't go out of their way to make sure everything is to perfection. But it is satisfactory. read more

Now it has been a long road for my family being with Ford for about twelve to fifteen years and have been pretty disappointed in the way I have been treated recently.  I am an extremely patient person and felt as if I've been taken advantage of.We have been with Larry Miller Ford in draper for 4 years and it has been a complete shit show.   So the first incident that happened was while my wife was driving home from work. The break lines on the Ford F-150 suddenly went out and she just happened to be close by the dealership. She was shaken up when she called. She told me she had coasted right in the dealership and luckily people were there to help her out. I got there and instead of the issue being addressed it was more about what the next LEASED DEAL was going to be..  That angered me right off the bat and with her life actually being in danger 30 minutes before I had got there. Already having her sign for the next vehicle.  2018 Ford Fusion Hybrid I've had to stay home and figure things out as far as my kids being out of school along with work. I received a call about a week and a half later that the vehicle was fixed and ready for pick up. I went to the dealership to pick up the truck and noticed there was dirt all over the dashboard, bottle brake fluid on the floor and syphon for the fluid. Now I have taken great care of this vehicle and also was going to buy it at the end of the lease. So you could imagine that I was pretty irritated but I figured I'm just being over critical and drove it home. Along the way I noticed that it was riding really rough and clunky.  Then immediately called the dealership and drove it back. I was told some kind of vacuum hose had issues that the needed to get the part for it. A week goes by I called to see if things were situated and was told the part was on back order and they needed a few more days. That's when I stressed the fact that I need to be able to work so I need some kind of reliable transportation. My wife was using the Fusion Hybrid to get to work. I was later on told that they don't usually do those things for situations like this and ill have my vehicle back soon. The second week comes up still haven't heard anything back and called. I then was told it was good to go and ready. Now I followed up with giving them a new number from a new phone I had just acquired so they would have my new number on file. I arrived at the dealership drove the truck home and noticed when I parked in front of my house that the check engine light was on.. I called promptly to discuss with the customer service manager that I needed a vehicle now and that this situation was quite reticula's. They brought me a silver 2018 F-150 to use till the vehicle was fixed. Called Ford Credit Finance Company and told them my situation then filed an extension without penalties. Which was great and very thankful for the understanding there. Another Week goes by and haven't heard anything so I called to check up on things and was told that the part that yet again they ordered was on backorder so they ordered it straight out of another dealership. About three more days go by they tell me its ready and I return the lender vehicle. I drove the truck home everything seems good working condition. The next morning dropped off some mail at the post office and hopped back in the truck and there was an error image on the screen for a couple milliseconds so I couldn't read all of it but the truck still seemed fine and thought that it was probably recalibrating to all the changes made. Took my wife and kids to the Airshow this past weekend and when coming back to the vehicle I used the remote start and it was trying to turn over but eventually nothing.. Jumped the vehicle and drove it home.. It started back up with no issue.. Went grocery shopping with the kids Monday started up fine but when I went out to the vehicle, loaded the groceries and the kids. Tried to start it but got nothing and had to jump it again.. I have called the manager at ford and the regional manager for utah Lisa. Unfortunately, with or without a scheduled meeting, no one will return our call. In short. Dont buy or lease from Larry Miller Ford. read more

I have purchased my past 3 vehicles from this dealership. This last purchase I was told by Mike in Finance that he would throw in 6 free oil changes. I didn't qualify for the original loan amount so I had to bring in some cash for a down payment and for my gap insurance. I didn't know until I went to get my oil changed that he didn't honor his word. I was obviously secretly paying for the oil changes that he was "throwing in" because his excuse was that I didn't qualify for the original loan amount. He was not budging when I told him that he should keep his word. He didn't seem to care whatsoever! I told the service advisor that they had lost my business and I won't be back and he printed out my extended warranty paperwork and said, "here's these so you can go somewhere else." They lost my business and couldn't care less!! read more
