On January 5th, I contacted Sebar Auto and let them know I would be picking up a truck bright and…read moreearly on January 6th. I arrived at 7:00am, even though their business hours are 9-7, and the truck was not on the lot. I had one of the sales guys' (Omar) phone numbers and called him four times before 9am trying to find out where the truck was. No answer. Finally, someone shows up at 9am. I tell them I'm there to pick up the truck and am informed it's at another location -- even though they knew I was coming. They say someone is bringing it over. About 25 minutes later, I'm told a "young guy" is driving it and they want him to take his time because it's a big truck. Another 25 minutes goes by, and then an older gentleman tells me they were pressure washing the truck, something got wet, and now it won't start. He offers to ship it to Cincinnati for free once they get it running. At this point, I still haven't even seen the truck and tell them I want to inspect it. They send me to another location they own, I-40 Auto, about 20 minutes away. When I arrive, the truck is sitting in a field and very clearly was NOT pressure washed -- it just had morning dew on it. AJ (the owner's son) wouldn't give me space while I was inspecting the truck, constantly talking and asking if I liked it. I eventually had to tell him to give me room. Despite everything, I still wanted to move forward with the purchase. That's when AJ tells me they lost the key, and the truck needs to be taken to Ford because the remaining keys won't program. Fine. About an hour later, the truck is towed to High Point Ford. At Ford, I explain the situation to a service advisor named Jessie and am told they'll try to get it running that day. While waiting, I overhear someone mention the truck was just there recently for a check engine light, but the owner declined diagnosis. When I asked Jessie about it, he said he couldn't release any information since I wasn't the owner. I contacted Sebar Auto and told them they needed to authorize Ford to release the information or the deal was off. After nearly 40 minutes of back and forth -- and Sebar Auto claiming I was "getting in the way" while standing quietly in a corner -- Ford finally released the details. To summarize: * The truck was not ready * I was sent to multiple locations * I was given conflicting explanations * The truck had known mechanical issues * None of this was disclosed upfront After all of this, instead of taking responsibility or addressing the situation, Sebar Auto sent me a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in an apparent attempt to keep me quiet about my experience. This entire situation was disorganized, exhausting, and a complete waste of time. I'm sharing this so others can make informed decisions.

I'm a single mom with two kids and this car purchase was literally my entire savings, so the stakes were extremely high for me. I bought a 2019 Kia Soul from Bob King Mazda. A few days after purchase, I noticed some issues with the car and ended up taking it to Bob King Kia for diagnostics since it's a Kia. They discovered a pending check engine code related to the O sensors and replaced both sensors. The invoice showed the repair would have been around $850, but thankfully they covered it and I did not have to pay. I want to be very clear about something: the people I dealt with were great. Billy at Bob King Kia was very helpful and reassuring when this all started. Randy at Bob King Mazda was also great to work with. But the real MVP was Josh in the Mazda service department. Even when things were confusing behind the scenes, he stayed patient, explained things clearly, and treated me with respect the entire time. His people skills alone would make me consider returning. They also provided me with a loaner vehicle while the issue was being addressed, which I deeply appreciated and absolutely made a stressful situation easier. That said, I do have some concerns that I think future buyers should be aware of. When I first purchased the car, the coolant was extremely low and the engine air filter was completely clogged with debris. It was obvious those things hadn't been checked before the vehicle was sold. That's what ultimately led me to discovering the other issue in the first place. After 10 days of diagnostics and repairs, the jerking sensation I initially noticed while decelerating is still present, although it is not nearly as severe as before. The explanation I received was essentially that the vehicle has over 100k miles and sometimes cars just have their own "personality." Maybe that's true, but as a first-time buyer, I was hoping for a clearer mechanical explanation. To be fair, the dealership did step up and handle the emissions issue at no cost to me, and they treated me respectfully throughout the process. I genuinely appreciate that. However, I would strongly recommend that the dealership implement a more thorough mechanical inspection process on used vehicles before they're sold. A quick inspection by a technician could likely catch things like low coolant, clogged filters, or pending codes before a customer drives off the lot. At the end of the day, the staff treated me well and the issue I didn't know about was addressed. But as someone who spent their entire savings on their first car purchase, this experience was definitely stressful and could have been prevented with a more thorough pre-sale inspection. For now, I'm hopeful everything continues running well. Time will tell. And as a first-time buyer who learned a lot through this experience, I'll definitely be paying very close attention going forward.

I showed up the morning of my appointment and was unsure where to enter for service, as I didn't see any SERVICE signs. Pulled around to the bay in the back and sat there. The door never opened and I could see a person sitting at the counter inside. They ignored me. After a few minutes, I backed out and left. I was so disgusted that I considered making the 2-hour drive back to Durham for future service. On my drive home I passed the Volvo dealership right down the street from Flow. I could clearly see the SERVICE sign and decided to look online for any good deals on a new Volvo. Filled out a form online and Volvo called me within the hour. So, I drove back to the Volvo dealership, met the most amazing staff I've ever encountered at a car dealership, and left with a brand new 2026 Volvo! Flow, let this be a lesson. You lost my business that day. I happily traded in my RDX for another car and MUCH BETTER Customer Service. I would give my experience with Flow zero stars, if possible, and would not recommend anyone do business there.

The headlight had condensation in it and when I opened the hood, I realized the intake duct was completely missing as well as fasteners on the hood - seemed very odd for a two year-old car with low miles. I texted with Juaness, my sales rep and he said "no sir, car has not been in an accident." Took it to the dealer, and they immediately knew the car was in an accident and multiple things were not repaired correctly. The repair cost? OVER 10K!!! Juaness and the sales manager both said the dealer is trying to rip me off. So I got an independent opinion. They said they would do the exact same things that the dealer recommended as the car is low miles, and still has warranty. Further they said that any person with even limited knowledge of cars would immediately know this car was in an accident. Finally, after some back and forth...Todd, the sales manager said they would take the car back, but I would have to pay the shipping!!! Long story short...Todd gets fired and the owner will not return my phone calls and it's been two months of me calling every other day from Michigan. Now, I will have to get an attorney involved. What a nightmare! I didn't read the reviews because the car was so new and still had warranty. Don't make that mistake - You've been warned!!!
