I'm in town for work, and will probably eat this only once in my life, and I had to give it a try. I stopped in on Sunday May 11,2025. I love spicy Capicola, and my hopes were very high with this one here. It disappointed, and the sub sandwich tasted averaged. I paid $9.99 for an 8". There was more veggies than meat and the Capicola didn't have any cured "fermented" taste that I enjoy. The cashier was very friendly and welcoming. She greeted everyone independently and had a genuine smile on her face. Everyone else were glued to their duties at task. The restaurant is very clean. We were returning from a long road trip and looking for a place to stop off the highway to get a bite to eat. We were tired of all the fast-food restaurants, so when we saw the sign for Larry's Giant Subs, we headed in that direction. We were so glad that we stopped. We intended to grab a sandwich to go, but once we got inside, we decided to sit down and eat in their large dining room. We ordered Italian subs and chips. The sub was very tasty! The bread was amazingly light and flavorful. For me, it made the sandwich. The genoa salami, pepperoni and provolone were fresh and had great flavor. Larry has their own Italian dressing that I enjoyed much better than any other Italian dressings I've previously had. We will stop again on the next road trip. read more

Cold meat!! I wanted a sandwich and checked out the reviews for Larry's gaint sub. The beard was soft and the house Italian was good but the meat and veggies were warm. I don't know about you but I like cold veggies and cold meat on my subs. Maybe I'm a little high maintenance but I don't think it's too much to ask. Larry's was big so you don't have to worry about seating but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. If you go, don't forget to request a pickle spear.
