I order a 1/2 Italian sub and okra. The okra is frozen out of a bag and tasted like it too, the Italian sub was decent, reminded me of a Publix sub. A co-worker had a deluxe club, it looked pretty good. Personally, i think it's a stretch calling this place a deli though. I started to order a cheeseburger, they only cooked them well done. Medium-well is the furthest I'll go on a burger, after that you're killing it again. read more

The young lady at the counter was nice although I felt rushed. Waited a bit and my order was packed "to go" when I clearly stated dine in when asked. Went to a table and found that my order was incorrect. My shrimp was grilled not fried, I did not complain about it because at that point the lunch rush was in full swing. It was tasty even so. I ordered through DoorDash and was impressed with the packaging and how secure everything was down to the drink. I ordered the Deluxe Club Sandwich with a side salad. What a bizarre experience. We ordered 2 large drinks and 1 regular. The cashier refused to give us more than 1 large cup and actually accused me of taking one off the counter and walking away with it. She finally gave us a second regular cup, even though that's not what we paid for. I wanted a cold sandwich, which she tried to talk me out of. My husband got a toasted sandwich that was so burned he took off the bread. The inside was fairly clean and larger than we were expecting from pictures online. Hmmmm. The name of this restaurant is a bit misleading. It is in no way an actual deli other than you do order at the counter. I tried to order a turkey & Swiss on white and the cashier looked at me as if I had 2 heads. I didn't realize it wasn't a deli until then. I ordered from a paper menu (there is an easy to read menu behind the counter). I decided on a turkey sub. The bread was tasty but the meat was not what I would expect from a deli. It was nice and toasted, the veggies were fresh. There appeared to be a heavy take out crowd, but it was a little awkward as there was no real designated place to wait. I shared a table with another person waiting on their order. The staff was friendly & my sandwich was just ok. I may give it another try if I'm ever in the mood for fried seafood which is what I would guess to be their specialty. read more

Great low key atmosphere! The fried food is perfectly breaded and always served fresh and hot! The tarter sauce is a delicious addition.

My cheesesteak, fries, and drink were almost $18. Both a tad greasy and salty, but overall better than I expected. Cooked pretty quick, too. One of the better take out experiences I've had lately. read more

My wife and I had lunch there today and ordered a take-out dinner. The girl who took our order seemed confused as if she wasn't sure what to do. We had to repeat several things to her. She told us to listen for our number but she told us the wrong number - I found the correct one on the ticket. My wife ordered coffee which she never got but was charged for. We overheard another customer complaining about a problem with his order. We've been here in the past and the quality of service seems to be declining. read more

Me and a friend came here on our lunch break. They have a sign that says "If you want fast food this isn't the place" or something like that, and it's the truth. It took about 5 minutes with no one in front of us to be able to order our food, and another 30 minutes to get the food. I got mozzarella stix* and a Reuben, he got 4 chicken tenders with ranch. That's not a 30 minute cook time by any means. It was slow and practically empty in there. The people who got there after us got their two plates before us. I scarfed down what I could in the car, the mozzarella stix were fine and what I could eat of the Reuben was good, but they gave my friend fish and tartar sauce, not chicken and ranch. Really? I mean, REAAAALLLLLYYYY? That's a dangerous thing to mix up. Maybe you're thinking, "Why didn't you just call ahead?" Well, there's no updated menu online. We won't be back. read more

I am blown away by the treatment we received at Michaels Deli for lunch this afternoon, and NOT in a good way. The employees were about as rude and unhelpful as anyone could possibly be.. They were cussing at each other and hollering across the restaurant. Kim with the red hair took our order and was incredibly rude and annoyed by the questions we had (we were first time guests-- the menu is extensive) THEN we sit down and wait for our food only to hear the kitchen/register employees talk about what they could do to get these customers the "F" out of here--- meaning US! The food was ok but not good enough to ever come back this place. I can't believe these kids are left unsupervised to do whatever they want. What a waste of our 25.00 for lunch! Great fish and shrimp. The crab cakes weren't awesome though. Tasted like they used fake crab. All in all excellent food, reasonable prices and great service. The only complaint I have is that the restroom doesn't have a changing station for babies. read more

I had the haddock fish dinner. It was PERFECT and reminded me exactly of the Friday night Fish Fry that you find all over New York and the Northeast. Huge serving including 2 side dishes, cooked perfectly and lightly breaded. The meal was under $7! My friend had the bacon cheese burger and it was huge as well, cooked perfectly to order. I'm like the one customer said. Don't waste your time or money in this place. I ordered two tuna sandwiches. One with no lettuce or tomatoe. I waited for about 25 minutes for my order to go ( as I had to take one sandwich to my husband at work.) Then finally asked the young lady at the register why was my order Taking so long. Not to mention while I was waiting the cashiers kept Looking over at me. You would have thought they would have asked me what I was waiting on. But anyway. The cashiers looked at me like a deer caught in headlights.i had to tell them my order all over again. Then they and the kitchen personnel proceeded to argue about My order. So I had to end up waiting 10 more minutes. When I got to my car, I checked my order, of course it was wrong. I called and talked to the manager Tammy. She said " well ,we have New people, and these things happen " she didn't bother to Apologize or offer any help. So with that I hung up and vowed to never go back there again.if you're smart you will go somewhere else. My boyfriend and I stopped in here by chance when we were visiting Brunswick. So glad we did! We travel a lot, and this was one of our favorite places to grab a bite to eat. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich, a turkey club sandwich, and a seafood platter. The chicken salad sandwich was absolutely fantastic! It came on a delicious lightly toasted multi-grain rye bread, and the chicken salad (as well as the lettuce and tomato on the sandwich) was fresh and tasted divine; one of the best chicken salads we have ever had, and the price was perfect. The club sandwich was good, absolutely no complaints. The seafood platter came with delicious baked beans, cole slaw, and hush puppies. The flounder and shrimp were fried and very tasty.
