When pizza is great, then I don't think much about the service. This time, people behind the counter were not very friendly. Was in the downtown Brunswick area and hungry for pizza so I figured we'd give Fox's a try. We ordered the Mamas thick pizza with pepperoni and a salad pizza. The waitress brought both items out at the same time but we were hoping that we would get the salad pizza first to pick on before the hot pizza came out. Either way, both were good. The salad pizza was fresh and nice size, but came with prepackaged salad dressing. The Mama's thick pizza was good, but nothing remarkable. I'm pretty picky especially with pizza so take that into consideration. It was fresh and light with a good amount of pepperoni but again good but nothing fantastic. I would actually rate this as a 3.8 but will go with a 4.0 with Yelp ratings. It is definitely not a bust and fairly decent with a nice menu, however, I would try a few other pizza places in the area to compare. There is a 4% surcharge for credit card. read more

The food was subpar, my wings were not breaded like I ordered. I also got the tiniest wings. No celery. The pizza tasted a little undercooked. The front host was not hospitable. My husband had to wave someone down to get their attention for placing the order. Their online and phone line did not pick up and or was down. It wasn't busy in the store. This place was one of our favorite places to eat along the Georgia coast. However, we've noticed nuances of differences and upon inquiry found out there's new owners. Gone are the energetic and perky wait staff happy to greet and serve you as you enter. They made a big difference in the previous operation. Gone also are a number of items off the menu that were key entrées. Most important of all, it seems there's been a change in the cooking staff. From our latest visit, we both felt a bit ill after eating here. Items we ordered had an impact on our gastrointestinal tracks. It seems are multi decade run with this spot is over. read more

Best pizza crust I've had outside of New York City. Soft and tasty. We had the regular crust and it was perfect. They also have a thin crust and a thick crust, but we think the regular is perfect. There's a nice selection of toppings. We just tried Broomelli Boys, and they don't come close. This is hands down the best pizza in Brunswick. read more

Picked up some pizzas for a large group to take to the brewery down the street. It only took about 20 min for our large order to be ready. Some of the best pizza we have had in a while! Great crust, cheese, and sauce. Loved the BBQ chicken pizza the most. Skip the breadsticks and get the garlic knots instead! read more

Excellent Pizza and Stromboli! Have to recommend Fox's Den for its incredible taste and service. Stopped in during our marathon weekend and its carbs are the perfect paring for a hard workout (prerace or recovery). It's the perfect location with plenty of local shops and things to see. read more

We were extremely surprised by how tasty the pizza was here and will most definitely be back! When we arrived, we were greeted and seated almost instantaneously! The surroundings had me a little suspect of what to expect but I had heard good things. The waitress was quick to take our drink order and I ordered a double ipa and it was quite delicious! We enjoyed garlic knots as an appetizer and they were quite generous with the amount they give you and garlic butter it comes in caused a brew ha ha amongst us as we tried to scoop it up for ourselves individually... Fantastic pizza! The beer selection is great! Service was great too. While waiting for our seat outside a homeless guy approached us and got a bit angry at us for what I still don't understand but he went into the restaurant first and I'm not sure what happened, so maybe he was just angry. Upon arrival you are greeted with a smell of a decent charred crust . Not a typical pizza bar that you'd be accustomed to in NYC but still very cozy and comfortable inside. As for the service the place was packed so we had a bit of a wait. But, once we were seated the food was out promptly and hot. Everything we ordered was good. By far my favorite Pizza place in Brunswick. Their gluten free crust can be a little slippery at times with the cheese, but nothing beats their Chicken Rancher with buffalo sauce and ranch. Friendly staff and a nice environment with a nice theme. read more

Passing through town and saw all the good looking photos on Yelp. While I am admittedly a New York style pizza snob, I was in the mood for any type of pizza. This place did not disappoint. I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce, the amount of cheese, and the crust. And the fact that there is no edge crust is especially appealing to me, because I never eat it. I will write this review with a few caveats. 1) There was a street festival taking place when we stopped by 2) The place was packed, inside & outside and 3) We had just driven-in from Florida and we were starving. My brother, wife, and I traveled to Brunswick to visit a family member that was in the hospital. After visiting the hospital, we needed to get something to eat. Read some reviews about Fox's so we headed downtown to test it out. Like I stated earlier, there was a Friday night street festival going on, so when we walked up there was nowhere to sit. There was a guy at the door taking names but he said they were on an hour wait. We almost left but we noticed an empty high-top table on the sidewalk. Since we were so hungry and didn't feel like walking around, we decided to order a pizza to go and just eat it outside. We ordered a large Roma pizza. Damn, that was an excellent choice! While the box didn't look super big when the pie came out, it fed 3 very hungry people easily. We were all full and there was like a slice and a half left that we powered down. The garlic base was so tasty. The tomatoes were so refreshing and the pepperonis were perfectly charred. Overall, an amazing pizza! As far as the service and ambiance, its hard to gauge since we got a pie to go and ate it outside. I will say, though, that the guy running the door didn't know what he was doing. He was saying there was an hour wait but there were empty tables inside the restaurant and outside on the patio area. People just kept walking up and taking over tables. The servers outside didn't say anything. We had already ordered and a random guy walked up, parked at a two top, got waited on, and there were other people standing around us waiting for their name to be called. The whole situation was a bit of a mess. With all that being said, I will definitely go back to Fox's the next time I'm in Brunswick. That pie was so good, I was talking about it for like 3-4 days after we ate there. read more

The food was great on this second trip to Foxes but this time service was lacking. We sat amongst dirty tables and there was no one there except one other couple. The waitress was on her phone texting behind us and texting in front of us and then sitting at a front booth on her phone texting again. We had to call her over to ask for refills,. She brought the bill and never asked us if we wanted anything else. We had to flag her down for a to go box. When we got the box it was dirty and filled with crumbs and stained on the side with tomato finger prints - we had to hunt her down again to ask for a clean box- She just said ok and brought us another box. She was Not surprised?!! Huh?!!! lol Hmmm. The windows needed cleaning, the floors needed swept and although the pizzas were delicious and the garlic knots were amazing - sitting in the filth everywhere we looked just turned us off. Very good pizza. We used to have one of these in Ohio and loved it. They did not disappoint.We got a large pepperoni pizza and a lasagna for dinner for about $30. Was checking out the downtown area of Brunswick today with friends and get hungry so stopped into Fox's right about noon on a Saturday. Got a table straight away and sat down. The place is 50s diner style I guess, it's fun. They do have shower curtains hanging between the booths...I assume for covid, they give an interesting vibe lol. I felt bad for server as appeared to be only 2 and 1 host/food runner/busser/cashier which for a Saturday with a farmers market going on seemed light staffed. She was super friendly and cheerful but you could tell was running ragged. Drinks and ordering was big slow but her friendly nature made up for It and we were in no hurry. With an overall 4 1/2 star review and all the positive comments, I looked forward to my experience at Fox's. I only wish that my experience had matched those of prior visitors. The reviews were highly complimentary of the staff and I would echo those sentiments. However, I found it to be woefully understaffed on the night i visited and was told they had several employees who called out and the owners weren't around to help out. As for the food, my wife had the wedge salad and she was complimentary of the size and quality. I had the small Stromboli and found it to be the perfect size for a single entree but the quality wasn't much better than a frozen hot pocket. The highlight was the side of marinara sauce which was fresh and very tasty. Overall, I give my visit 3 stars and will continue my search for the perfect Italian/Pizza place in the Greater Brunswick area. read more

Traveled by boat to Brunswick. Had numerous fancy meals along the trip. We were all into pizza/Italian that night. Wife and friends had pizza and all raved about it. I had their house special; Lasagna. Easily in my top 5 all time and I eat lots of Italian food. Old school red/white plaid checkered tablecloths and late 50's theme. Very reasonable, excellent pours on the wine and very generous portions. If I'm ever in that neck of the woods again, I would definitely return. read more

I wish I took a picture of the Apple walnut salad because it was beautifully plated and full of flavor and textures. I got the gluten free pizza thinking it would be cardboard substitute for the real thing but I would sacrifice so I don't feel terrible afterwards...WRONG! That is the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had and it is one of the best over all pizzas I've eaten. We enjoyed every bite and had leftovers for later. 10/10 recommend! read more

Salty. Had the lasagna with garlic toast. It was plated well but was over salted. A while ago I had the baked spaghetti and it's also over salted. My hubby had the cheesesteak. Not good. Chunky green bell peppers and raw onions and canned mushrooms. It was pretty slack. But..were not in Philly. Still, canned mushrooms? Server was nice but not attentive. The time of say was mid afternoon so it was not busy. When we left no one thanked us. 1 dude at the counter just watched us leave. I may go back to check out their salads. read more

The food is absolutely terrible and the service is so slow. Came in because the place we wanted to go to had a long wait. Tried something new and regret it. I ordered a cheese steak wrap. When it finally came out, it was more of a vegetable egg roll. Had almost no steak at all and if I wasn't with friends I would have sent it back. Do not recommend at all.
