I hired this mobile mechanic to diagnose and repair an issue with my vehicle and paid him $550 for…read morethe job. He told me the problem was fixed and left, but shortly afterward the vehicle began leaking fluid again in two different locations. I contacted him immediately, but he did not return to inspect the issue or provide me with a written estimate, receipt, or documentation for the work performed. He had stated that his work came with a 90 warranty, but he did not follow through on returning to look at the issue after I reached out. I had to move the vehicle to a public parking area because the leak continued and the transmission fluid level was extremely low afterward. This was my experience, and I'm sharing it so others can make an informed decision.

He was excited to take the challenge and learn along the way. The job reached a point where it required tools that we do not have. He knew he needed help so he called our local shop, S&S. We wanted to support an independent, small business in our town. The Owner showed up with a flatbed while my son was still bolting the wheel on. The Owner climbed under the front wheel without being asked, to bolt the tie rod back on. It seemed like good customer service at the time. He took the car and we waited for a call with an estimate. The call never came. The next day they called my son to tell him his car was done, and handed him a bill for $646.10. The Owner charged my son $175 to tow his car 2 blocks to his own shop where they did the work without first discussing with my son what it would cost. My son bought all the parts, they were in the car. My son did 90% of the tear down, with the right tools, which I assume they have, it would have been a 2 hour task at most to install the new axle in and put it all back together. They charged $100 hr, and insisted it took them 4 hours. When I questioned the desk attendant, he told us the owner told him he had to crawl under my son's car and do all kinds of work just to get it on the tow truck. He tightened a bolt. It was 2 minutes of his time, and no one asked him to do it. This is about character. If they're willing to take advantage of a 19 year old young man, how do you think they will treat you, your son, your daughter or your wife?

Ryan also done work for me. Now the 4th vehicle there working on. Me personally there the best mechanic's by far. I've watched both guys try to get me & my family the best parts & price. To be honest everything is expensive. Allan at time's I think just lowers the price for his customers and that's a lost for him. But again there fare. I truly believe Allan & Ryan are the best and my family agrees. Every appointment we've made someone was there! We shouldn't forget their human & things come up. Thank you guys!

As I drove from the parking garage to the circle to pick her up to go home, my front right tire went flat. We called roadside assistance through our insurance agency, and Cameron came to the rescue. My vehicle was a bit of a conundrum, as one lug on each of the front wheels is rounded, rather than beveled (as normal). He was able to plug the tire, and we made the 60 mile drive home safely.
