Thank God for another meal, because this place definitely did not serve one made with care. The experience started off confusing before we even got the food. We pulled up around 12:50, and the sign on the door said closed, while the lighted sign said open. Mixed signals right away. We literally had to call just to find out if anyone was even there. I ordered a super burrito wet, half green and half red sauce. I was told what it came with, but when I got the food, key ingredients were missing. No real sour cream, no proper pico de gallo, and barely anything that made it feel like an actual super burrito. I also ordered another super burrito and asked for ranchero meat, because that is clearly something they sell there. If you sell ranchero tacos, then obviously ranchero meat exists in your kitchen and should be an option in a burrito too. Instead, the burrito came in a box looking like they already knew it wasn't put together right. When I got home and opened it, I was honestly disappointed. The photos speak for themselves. This was not a super burrito. It was a sloppy tortilla overloaded with rice and meat, with almost nothing else inside to balance it out. No beans, barely any vegetables, no real pico, and no care in the way it was made. It looked like somebody just stuffed whatever was easiest in there and called it done. And before anyone tries to say I didn't ask for certain things, you can literally see tiny pieces of tomato in there, which shows some kind of veggie mix was supposed to be part of it. But overall, it was still mostly just rice and meat. That is not what people expect when they order a super burrito. The wet burrito was just as bad presentation-wise. It should have been smothered properly, with that melty, flavorful, put-together look. Instead, it looked rushed, sloppy, and halfway done. Even the cheese on top looked like it was thrown on without any effort. This whole meal felt like it was made with no pride. Confusing service, missing ingredients, weak execution, and burritos that looked more like a struggle meal than something worth paying for. Grateful to have food, always. But I would not come back for this. Here's a shorter, sharper Yelp version too: Pulled up around 12:50 and the sign said closed, but the open light was on. Cutest little hole in the wall that's bigger once you step inside than you would even have expected. Staff was super friendly and attentive! Our food came out in record time and was actually delicious! Believe it or not it tasted even better than it looked and it looked really good when it arrived. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and they were some of the best I have had In the Bay Area. Sadly most people can't even make a cheese enchilada but this place made it perfect! I can still taste that delicious sauce on the enchiladas. My hubby got the chicken quesadilla and although it looked very simple he said it had great flavor. We will come again soon! read more

What an oasis in an otherwise average strip mall!! Such a cool vibe inside! The staff was incredibly friendly. The food? Absolutely delicious!! I had a Torta carnitas and I didn't leave any leftovers!! It was the perfect meal after a beautiful hike at Black Diamond. My girlfriend had Camarones a la Diabla. I got a wet burrito, it was really tastey and nice, it had enchilada sause on it, i couldnt really taste the cheese on too but i enjoyed the meat they used and the salsa really added foavor in the borrito. It was HUGE! I ate it in THREE sittings! a few parts were a little dry but overall it was very good and i will be coming back! Family owned restaurant in my opinion has the best Mexican food in Antioch. They always ask about my mom and the food is prepared quickly. Tip: Order a potato taco! These are so yummy. LOOKS ARE DECEIVING! So I had ordered from here yesterday for my family. I was not at all impressed with the food. My order was 2 steak fries a wet and dry super burrito. First off the steak fries were about $14 after taxes and it had more toppings then steak and fries. There was more lettuce, tomatoes (not pico), crema and guacamole. The fries were soggy as hell and the steak was sparse. The super wet and dry burritos are about $11 and they were not super at all they were regular size burritos with way more refried beans and rice (I did not order extra). Now I am wondering if the regular size burritos are chimichangas? The only reason why 3 Marias gets 2 stars because the flavor on the wet burrito was just okay and gentleman that took my order over the phone had good customer service. One of our friends said this place was amazing . We decided to give it a try for lunch today. I called and placed an order for pick up. Just as someone else who previously reviewed, I grew up on authentic seriously flavorful Mexican food being a second generation native San Franciscan who also lived in Oakland for 35+ years.
