I conquered my fear of heights! We had so much fun ziplining across this vast playground. The precarious bridges proved to be challenging, but they offered walking pathways if you opted out. This place is poorly managed . The place was over crowded with no place to pitch a canopy or a chair for that matter. At the same time they continued selling tickets at 16 dollars US per person. Packing as many people as were willing to enter the park. I was really looking forward to this place but they ended up taking my money. The line to leave was almost as long at the entrance line. They will not give you a refund and are more than happy to take your money. I was very disappointed, will never be back read more

This has been my second time here. Each for a family reunion. Fairly easy to get here. It's clean, there's always something to do. ATV, wave pool, kids slides, playground, etc. I rented 2 ATV and had a fun ride. My kids 13,10 and 8 had a blast. Didn't try the zip line we ran out of time spending quality time with family. While in Ensenada, good for a family with preteens and teens, but parents have to be ready to tag along with them because the place is huge. If you have small children they still have fun with the different pools and playground. read more

Very nice seasonal pools and water slides the whole family loves the wave pool but it can get very crowded with long lines this is a campground so watch out for bees and I wish they had a hotel insted of their very basic cabanas no linens provided. The campground is pretty clean and plenty of hot showers and lots of things to do atvs, horses, zip lines, pond with paddle boats. We went specifically to zipline and still paid to go in as if we were going to use the pools. Everything cost money. This isn't an all inclusive price. Just a heads up! A little far from town, about a half hour drive on our ATVs, but the view is very nice! The place itself is very clean (yes bathrooms are super clean!) And everyone spoke English very well. All the workers were very friendly and made sure everyone was safe. We did the ziplining and bridges course which was really fun and really thrilling! There are 5 bridges and 5 ziplining spots and you go through all of them during the course. You are in a harness the whole time so the wire catches you if you fall! Also if you get stuck on ziplining, they are very quick to help you down too. Prices are fairly cheap, and theres a free locker for you to use to put your belongings in at the beginning before the course. I absolutely loved this place! Really want to go back sometime! read more

This is an awesome campground with lots of things to do. Went for the fourth of July this year so there were people from everywhere: Arizona, California, and Nevada. Parked right next to the water pond and set up camp. Once we set up we hit up the wave pool!!!! It was great as we spent hours in the wave pool and went fishing right after the wave pool. Fishing was awesome as my five year old asked me to go fishing and I had gotten her a rod. After that it was shower time. The mariachi show was great and there was a firework show. Woke up the next day, cooked some breakfast, got on the paddle boats. It was free to ride them but you must make line. Having Sentri I was able to cross back within five minutes from arriving at the border. Great experience will definitely be back next year. Great camping experience for those who do not want to grind it out. read more

The park has alot of activities for the family. The only reason I'll give a 1 star is to advise other people on the tippy campground. We stayed at the "turtle" tippy and had the worst experience. We had a good time in the morning, but once it went dark we were invaded by mice. I didn't think anything about it as you are in the open, but once we went to bed we had mice inside our tent. We had to evacuate the whole family and sleep in our car. The following morning I alerted one of their staff which he told me they had various people complain about the mice issue in that tent and the one next to it, but haven't done anything about it. I also spoke to the manager/supervisor and just acted surprised. I wish I was warned with the mice problem that my family may have encountered. DO NOT STAY IN THE TIPPY CAMPGROUND ESPECIALLY IN THE (TURTLE) TENT! read more

Horrible experience!!!!! I made my reservation online and paid for it more than a month in advance and it was the promo buy 2nights get one free, for arriving Wednesday night and leaving Saturday morning. We couldn't end up coming Wednesday night so we came Thursday afternoon, and when we arrived to check-in they said that we had to pay because we didn't come when we were supposed too, that is the MOST RIDICULOUS THING I HAVE EVER HEARD OF!!!! And also they said if we didn't want to pay we had to wait until 6pm because when we booked to arrive Wednesday night it was for after 6pm. We made a reservation WHAT DOES IT MATTER if we get here the night of or the following day we already had reservations for those days!!!!! So because we didn't want to wait until 6pm on Thursday we ended up PAYING!!!! Pretty much there's no point of making a reservations because if something happens and you can't get here when your supposed to you have to pay way more. read more

We drove 5 hours just to be told we can't camp here because we don't have children. We are in our late twenties and early thirties, but told they don't accept a "grupo de jóvenes" over night. This is outrageous. They discriminate against those who don't have children. What if people can't have children, they should be banned? read more

I am so glad Dan found this adventurous place in Ensenada ,, we do the usual Everytime we visit so finding this place was gold to our summer vacation .. this is a camping site either in tents or cabin but you can also be there for the day .. although I was disappointed it says opens at 7:30 pools aren't open till 10 and certain slides till 12 which I saw kinda dumb .. everything else like the ATVs horse riding paddle boat and Canopy tour which is the Zipline is extra from the entrance fee if you wish to do these things . They have the most delicious Pina coladas .. the other down side is pricing it is a bit more pricey then other things in Ensenada but cheaper then in the US that's for sure .. they do have tons of employees though and they are very clean and safe so I believe it's money's worth .. so to be exact it was a June special 150 pesos a person for entrance fee and 400 pesos for the ziplining .. planning on camping here soon not just a days worth just to enjoy all they have :) read more

All we did was the Zipline Canopy Tour so that's all I can vouch for, looked like there was tons of other fun stuff you could stay busy with all day. It was nice there was 5 hanging bridges between the zip lines so it made the experience longer. Our group was aged 5 to 62, and we all had a blast. You can ride the ziplines with your kids, and some of them are super long. The 5 and 6 year old were able to do all zip lines and 3 of the 5 suspended bridges, the rest of the party did everything else, all lines and bridges. Excellent guides and setup here, very safe, petzl equipment, good systems in place. The only thing that bugged a little was we had to leave a 150 peso deposit per person that we got back when we left after we gave all our paperwork and bracelets back (so DON'T lose those)! read more

Came out to Las Cañadas for a day trip with my friends. We decided to do the canopy tour. I was totally not prepared for it...bring tennis shoes and comfy clothes. The tour guides were the best! Especially Ricky and Aaron. Those two are bomb dot com. I felt safe the whole time and they were very patient with my slow ass and made the whole experience super memorable. We did the canopy tour on a carnival cruise to ensenada, what a great experience! The whole tour was about 45 min to an hr. And included multiple zip lines and bridges. This was a really fun Excursion me and my family really enjoyed ourselves to complete all of the courses it took about maybe one hour and a half super fun the staff was really nice a lot of the staff can speak English after completing about to zip lining and one obstacle course they do provide bottled water which is really nice. I do recommend bringing maybe a pair of gloves like workout gloves or garden gloves just saw your hands won't hurt while doing the obstacle courses and please wear tennis shoes no sandals and if you have kids under 4 they can do some of the obstacle courses if not they can just walk to the next obstacle course or zip lining. Me and my family did take a tour bus to this location because we was on the Carnival Cruise Line it cost us $ $57 per person to do zip lining and to go to the La Bufadora and round trip transportation so not too bad of a deal .we used the tour company called puelo antiguo. read more

We went to the campground on 6/9/18 from a Carnival cruise. We took Uber there, that ride was about $10. However trying to locate an Uber back was horrible!!! Because the campground is so far out (about 35 mins), there were not a lot of Uber drivers around the area, and our cell signal wasn't as strong. It took about 45 mins for us to locate an Uber driver. My friend had to call another Uber driver from her Uber car (after she left the campground) to send down to pick up the remaining guest waiting at the campground. The campground itself is beautiful and clean! We did ATV and Zipline. Total for both activities cost $55. Totally worth it! Our tour guide for the ATV was Erik, he was cool, spoke English as well. I would suggest having bi-lingual speakers at the main entrance accepting the money because it was confusing trying to figure out how much we needed to pay for a day pass. They had to call someone over who spoke English, so that was another wait. I just wished, Las Canadas provided transportation to and from the cruise-port, it would have made our experience a 5 star rating! read more

Pretty bothered by our experience the weekend of 7/14/2016 at Las Canadas, highly considering not visiting this place again. Which is pretty disappointing because we had a future trip planned here for next month also. This past weekend we camped at las Canada in celebration of someone's birthday. It was a group of 50+ relatives and friends of all ages. My review is mainly towards the camp grounds personal and security. Also note that this issue was attempted to be resolved at the camp ground office on 7/17 prior to us leaving the camp ground and we were unsuccessful in doing so. (We were asked to stay till 7pm Sunday to attend their employee meeting so that we can point out the employees that we were complaining about. No one has time to wait till 7pm when they have 3+ hours to travel back home.) Overall we spent in admission to the campground at least $27,280 pesos (Approximately $1515 US dollars) to be stalked and some can possibly refer to it as HUNTED. Our stay there Friday was awesome. The kids spend time in the pool, some went zip-lining, some played volleyball. We also stayed up talking and playing games such as jenga. Totally enjoying our stay. Saturday night comes around and we were up late doing the same- playing Jenga and conversing. Come midnight 2 security guards approached our camp and stood there, said nothing, just stood there. So of course we figured they maybe wanted us to turn OFF our music, so we did and they left. We continued to play and converse. Within the hour we were approached by an "officer" and 5 security guards, they stated that our uncle had to leave the campground and if he didn't he would be arrested and taken. Is that intimidation much? Is conversing not allowed either? Anyhow long story short the night security there was super rude, "intimidating", made our experience uncomfortable and made many of us feel defensive and unsafe. Lets just say that for a good 4-5 hours they were surrounding our camp ground and surveillancing us (stalking). Once during the night/early morning 2-3 of us walked to the road where our vehicle was and turns and sees at least 5 security guards rushing towards them. We all watched them come out of everywhere like army men. Some of them would hid behind our cars/trucks watching us and listening to what we conversed about throughout the night (we know this because during one of their intimidating approaches they mentioned what we were speaking of). Oh and in the am some of the other families that were camping around us told us they saw them as well hiding behind cars watching us like snipers with flashlights and walkie-talkies instead of guns. Had there not been little toddlers and children asleep in our tents I honestly think we would had picked up all our belongings and camping gear and left. We are very familiar with the laws of Mexico and honestly them threatening us was more of a disrespectful joke, but I feel for anyone else that is truly a TOURIST because that incident could definitely be intimidating to someone that isn't familiar with things in Mexico. Would hate for something like this to happen to anyone else. Just to make a point that their night security is rude and ...... I don't even know how to describe them or what their point of bothering us was. I will give them credit for cleanliness because the restrooms and showers are well maintained and cleaned. There are several activities that you can take place in like live music, zip-lining, quad riding etc. They conveniently have general stores on the premises where you can purchase ice and pretty much anything you may need or forgot to bring along.Their security just really sucks and can make you feel uncomfortable and maybe even unsafe. I went camping with my family for a few days twice here. We came here last year and loved it so we returned again this year. They have a wave pool,children pool,and two more swimming pools, and a giant slide. The restrooms are kept clean, I usually always find someone there cleaning them. There are security guards around the campsites. if you forget something they have two stores. At night they drive around in a car selling firewood so thats great. They have ATVs and horses. lots to do here for the whole family. The zip lining was cool but lots of exercise, its like an obstacle course. read more

Carnival Cruise Imagination to Ensenada: The minute the ship let us off about 8:30am we headed towards the blvd for a taxi. The taxi charged $75 to drive us 40 min to and from Las Canada's . Roberto, our driver had a very clean cab. He was kind and helpful. He stayed with us the whole day. He helped communicate with anyone we came across that did not understand English. The canopy tour $28 consisted of five zip lines, and several bouncing, crazy fun bridges. Oscar and Augustine are awesome tour guides. They had fun and kept us safe. After the canopy tour , Roberto drove us to the horse trails. This is on the same facility of Las Canadas but seems to be privately operated. One hour horse ride was $17. The horses are very well taken care of, healthy and beautiful. Our tour guide, Fernando did his best to communicate. He also kept us safe and had fun with us. Our last adventure was ATV's One hour of riding through the Ensenada mountains. Crazy , fun ride.$30. Roberto drove us back to the city, where we asked him to take us to grab tacos. He took us to a local hole in the wall. $1 a taco. They were delish! He then drove us to the tourist area about 10 minute walk away from the ship, where we had the best Margarita of my life at Corralito's, $6. Roberto drove us back to the ship where we paid him the agreed amount of $75. And of course a huge tip. It was the best vacation day! Weather was mid 70's. Trip was mid August. Our day started at 8:30 am. Back to the port at 4. Ship sets sail at 5:30. read more

Such a blast! Booked a tour with David from Ensenada Tour on FB. He brought us to this awesome spot to zip line and walk the fun and scary bridges. Recommend this activity for ages 10 and up in my opinion. We had a large group of 12 people and Ricardo was our guide along with two other gentlemen. Everyone gave good customer service, offered us bottle water as needed, and made us feel safe and secure. The whole thing took about an hour and a half to complete but we had a larger than normal group. Will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area. read more

Danger! Please be cautious on the ATV Trail! My new wife and I went to Las Canadas on our honeymoon of Rosarito/Ensenada and decided to start the park visit with the ATV tour. Unfortunately the ATV trail is very very rocky, unkept, and extremely dangerous and as a result my wife fell over on her ATV and got her leg stuck in the ATV, which required us to pull her leg out of it causing her to get stitches which she is still healing from. If you are new to ATV riding, this course will be too dangerous for you. Please be advised. Also if you are riding alone with no one else, please be advised that there are nooo monitors out in the ATV trail, so if you get hurt, you will have to ride your ATV back to the front of the park like we did in order to get medical attention. The ATV trail is very very dangerous! Please heed my warning before you decide to do it! Make sure you wear a helmet and long clothing! Be Safe! read more

Our kids describe this place as a hidden gem. We hired a cab and drove down from the cruise ship terminal. It was about a 45 minute drive. We did the zip line and ropes course. The zip line was fun and the ropes course was fun but difficult. If you're up for a challenging course it's a lot of fun. Most people could do it but just know it's not what you'll find in the U.S. it lasted for between 1-1 1/2 hours. We followed up with a swim in the wave pool. The wave pool was about $10 a person. It's very large, clean and wavy. Our teenage kids loved it. There are a number of other things to do here. ATVs, camping, horseback rides, soccer, basketball, and more. If I could give it 10 stars, I would!!!! My family and I went for the day this past Labor day weekend and we enjoyed it soooooo much we can't wait to go back!!! We rented ATV's, went horseback riding and spent the rest of the day at the pool! We got there early and got a cool little spot by the first pool. The great thing about it was that we were right next to the DJ/dance floor!!! Yes, DJ!!!! He was playing awesome music and even took requests!!! They also had Zumba! Lol!!! I thought that was pretty awesome and the instructor was very knowledgeable! All his moves were Zumba approved moves! Our kids really enjoyed the pool and the splash zone! Staff was very friendly, restrooms were very clean, which is the most important thing if you're traveling with little ones! They have all kinds of stands that sell snacks and food! We got 3 whole chickens, salad, fries and tortillas and it was super cheap!!!! The food was great by the way!!!! To us it was worth every penny, and we are already planning our next return with the entire family!!!! This place felt safe and we definitely want to camp here next time we come!!! My family and I been coming to this place for over 10 years and have never had an issue until today .My famy and I where at wave pool and this girl with an annoying whisle comes and start telling us we need to step behind a line because my husband had a drink in his hand .We are looking down at floor and we see no line . They pointed at a cement line that they use to not let anyone pass with sandals or drinks or anything which is about 10 ft away from pool. With in half a minute we have a rude ass security practically yelling at us telling us that we need to follow rules I told security that we were already told about there imaganary line and that we dont need to be told . Security continued to keep telling us about this stupid line when we were clearly now away from dam line . It was our last day today and decided to leave early due to the way we were talked to . We will be looking for a new camping ground. read more
