Cons: don't stray too far from fairways or you may not find your ball, but (during warm summer) may find a snake or two. Look for Monday special in summer ($30) and good prices weekdays. This is one of the 5 courses in ABQ area I would take an out of town visitor. Paako, Sandia, UNM Championship, and possibly Isleta round out the other four. This is worth the 45 min trip from ABQ.

He took his own scooter, met a couple of other kids, and was having fun until one of the employees cornered him and accused him of standing in the middle of the rink so he could - I'm not making this up - stare at the employee's friend's butt. The employee asked me if my son had been using a cell phone to take a video and just wouldn't hear the answer that my son doesn't have a cell phone, making it impossible for him to have done what he was accused of doing. It ruined my son's night. While we were not asked to leave, we won't be going back under any circumstances.

But....the hot tubs often have little kids in them, especially in the evenings and on weekends. The tubs are small and some of the kids are very young. The other issue is loud music in the gym. It's not clear who wants it; almost every patron has earbuds on. But if you don't or are working out with a friend, it's really unpleasant. The place is popular, for good reasons, so it would be nice if these issues were addressed.

There are so many different types of courses that it's unfair to say one is the best. But to…read morespecify, this is the best desert course, best wide open but a little obscured course, and best elevation change courses; I've ever been on. I haven't been on a 100 courses but I've been to a few dozen. I had actually been to a different course in town the day before and it was one of the worst courses I've been on. I'm working for a week in town, and I knew I wanted to try a course or 2. Today I went after work, which was about 3pm. Lord, it was hot. As I walked up the first tee though, I knew I was in for something special. The tee box had a really nice launching pad. Next to it there was a great map of the course; and the basket, which was pretty far, was visible in part due to a tall flag on top. When I finally putted my last shot in the basket I noted there was a metal arrow inside the basket that pointed to the next hole. The whole course was like that. In fact there were little blue arrows throughout that made it far easier to find the next tee that most courses I have been on. The coup de grace of Jaguar is a monster 450+ last hole. It was the easiest hole to lose a disc, but I didn't lose one all day. As far as I can tell it may be the best course in the area.

They do offer discounts to military and healthcare providers. They have a little gift shop at site. Most of the activities are indoor and they remodeling the outdoor. It's somewhat crowded and limited. Staff are not that welcoming and I caught of the staff members yelling at my kids for accidentally wearing shoes in the kids aisle and were told that only babies are allowed on the gated area. Which in fact is very limited and children want to explore every aspect of a museum. Water activities are limited.

There's also a skate park, a couple volleyball courts and a baseball field. You have to bring your own net for the volleyball court. The baseball field has real bathrooms, but looks like they're locked when there isn't a baseball game happening. There was also a fence around most of the park. There's lots of covered picnic tables, shaded benches, and trees that create lots of shade. There's are shade structures on the playgrounds, but they don't really cover any of the equipment sadly. There's also a working water fountain. Some of the covered picnic tables also had some charcoal grills available to use. When we visited, there were also two porter potties, but I didn't go in them so I can't tell you how clean they were ... but they're porter potties, so ya know. lol. Also worth mentioning that I only saw two homeless people at this park. They kept to themselves and it didn't seem like they were doing drugs.
