Drove by here a few times, finally stopped in for Taco Tuesday (2 for $3) & glad I did. Everything was great & fresh. I was torn between their homemade green & red salsa as well, both were delicious. There's many more interesting items on menu I want to try & couldn't help but notice some of them on the other patron's tables, they were mouth watering good looking..They also have a cool bakery & ice cream section To top it all off the staff were all super nice & I got a great friendly family vibe at this place. The service could have been JUST a little more attentive, otherwise would have been 5 stars. This hole in a wall place is a pure GEM! I came hear on a Hunch and craving for some Tacos. I had my choice to go an aweful Taco Bell or the expensive Taco stand on the corner of Hoffner/Conway, but decided to try this place that barely a visible sign. This place has incredible food! Between us, we tried a pork tamal, chorizo, chicken, al pastor and carnitas and one was better than the next. Everything was fresh, and the salsa bar was well-stocked. It's a no-frills gem of a place. The staff is super nice and the place is sparkling clean. The grocery store part had everything you could think of - we stocked up on all our favorite hot sauces that actually have flavor, unlike our lame American ones. Came here on a Sunday afternoon because of all of the wonderful things I saw about it so far. Walking in, I was greeted by a sweet girl who was ready to answer any question we had about the menu. The menu is on the small side but have a variety of meats and options to get those meats in a burrito, taco, chimichangas, quesadillas, and soup. There was a few vegetarian options as well. My fiancé got the taco supreme lunch special that came with beans and rice. He got the mild green salsa which was so tasty and fresh! I had a later lunch so was just along for tasting off his plate and a little snack. I got a churro, and it was by far the best one I've ever had. His food was all fresh and blended flavors together very well. His beans were a little plain for my taste, but he really enjoyed them. Overall food was fresh and great! One thing I didn't like was there was a sofa fountain so you do have to pay for each drink if you want a refill. But, they did have a fun variety of drink options in the coolers We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. read more

Man, hidden gem! Goodness! The food is definitely from ABUELA's Kitchen (grandma). This is truly an authentic Mexican Eatery that sits in the middle of a convenient store. From the fresh made juice, tortillas and daily soup specials, you will be sure to order something you will love! I personally love the tamals, enchiladas and burritos. The portions are favorable to a mans appetite. They don't over saturate the plate with beans and rice to cover up the fact they jipped you on the meat. Breakfast is equally good. Try the eggs and sausage. Lunch crowd is heavy, come a tab before 12. Be warned, this is food truck came indoors. Don't expect a fancy restaurant. You may eat your food here, they have plenty of tables. I'm not kidding when I tell you the seating is in the middle of the store. I've been eating here almost every day since I've discovered it. I just moved from Los Angeles and have missed the food. This place is a close to home as it gets. Everything I've had there is delicious. Their beans are great. I've only had the chicken there since I don't eat beef or pork but everything I've had was excellent. And they are really nice there. Pretty good tacos. You can also purchase the meat by the lb and assemble the tacos at home which I think is a better deal price wise. Then, my husband and I drove by this place that was advertising 2 for 3 tacos. We love a good deal so we went in and have been in love with the food since then and that was about a year ago. Stopped in to check out this little neighborhood Mexican grocery store with a side of cantina today and was glad I did. At first the atmosphere is a lot put-offish. This is not a place about the atmosphere, but hang with me. I thought about leaving, too, but it was worth a try. Everyone in the place was speaking Spanish. Latin music was playing and I was front and center when I walked in; everyone was staring at me and I felt like the only gringa in Guadalupe. There was a novella (Latin soap opera) on the flat screen that was hung on the wall. Still, I stayed. There was a man behind a wall cooking, a young lady behind a checkout counter, and another woman serving the guests. I decided to just sit down and soon the young lady behind the counter brought me a laminated menu. I ordered the quesadilla and asked if they had guacamole and sour cream, to which she replied yes. Soon the other woman brought out a small molcajete (traditional Mexican bowl for preparing and serving guacamole) of fresh made guacamole and a basket of chips. Now we're talking! This guacamole was amazing. Super fresh and delicious; chunky and flavorful with red onion, cilantro and just the right amount of spices. Perfecto! Then the quesadilla came out and it was incredible. The portion was so big I only ate a third and took the rest home to share with my family, who thoroughly enjoyed it as well and wanted to know where this place was. I should mention that the other two thirds is a Latin grocery store and deli. I didn't shop while I was there but several people came in and out grabbing a thing or two. We found this little gem the week we were moving out of Orlando, we had the pleasure of returning today, for an exquisite meal. The plates are huge! I mean, huge! One burrito can and will feed at least two kids, if not three. That's what our children had, and the only regret I have is ordering one too many. I had the carne asada, I expected to get one piece of steak, I got two huge pieces, with fresh corn tortillas, and a Chile that will set your heart on fire. The orchata is LEGIT! None of that fake, grocery store bought nonsense. It was not too sweet, and it was like the one my abuelita used to make me. The food is incredibly authentic, fresh, and very affordable.
