The property has a pool and spa area, but just keep in mind it's communal, there aren't private hot tubs or private spa setups in the rooms... Still, everything was well-maintained and relaxing... Pricing felt reasonable compared to other hotels in Valle, especially for how nice and comfortable everything was... One thing to note: Valle de Guadalupe is very spread out. This isn't a place to stay if you want nightlife or to be within walking distance of multiple wineries. You'll definitely need to drive to get around, and some of the roads are unpaved... The host was also extremely welcoming.. We arrived late after hours, and they were still available at the front desk, answered all our questions, and made us feel really comfortable... Overall, Ojo Azul is a beautiful, clean, romantic place to stay if you're looking for a quiet wine country escape. Would definitely recommend for couples looking to unwind..

The restaurant was not busy at the time, so I'm not sure why everything took so long. We were only a party of two, and our order was pretty basic: two cocktails, an appetizer, and two main courses. When it was time to pay, the bill came with a 20% tip already included. Nowhere did it say beforehand that gratuity would automatically be added. Considering the slow service, 20% seemed excessive. Even 15% would have been a lot for the level of service we received, but it would have felt more reasonable. I was thrown off by the experience but decided not to make a big deal about it at the time. Unfortunately, after having such a positive impression of El Cielo from my first visit, this experience left me disappointed, and it will probably be the last time I eat at the El Cielo restaurant.

We always enjoy our stay and will continue to stay here in the future when we come in our large group of friends and family. This house is set for a group of 12 people. She also offered to provide me with a full refund. After consulting with my significant other, we decided it would be best to wait and book with her when we are in Ensenada. When I notified her, she was once again very professional, understanding, and promptly issued a full refund of my deposit. I truly appreciate her honesty, communication, and professionalism. She was timely, prepared, very efficient, had a really great energy and answered all of my questions. I can't even put into words how beyond amazing the food was. There were 11 of us and each of us got a nicely sized portion of four different dishes. They were made with amazing craftsmanship, but also love. And the attention to detail was exceptional. She even brought her own plates, silverware, and cute table runners! The meal was truly an amazing experience all the way around. Thank you chef Tici, I look forward to the next time!!!
