Pricing felt reasonable compared to other hotels in Valle, especially for how nice and comfortable everything was... One thing to note: Valle de Guadalupe is very spread out. This isn't a place to stay if you want nightlife or to be within walking distance of multiple wineries. You'll definitely need to drive to get around, and some of the roads are unpaved... The host was also extremely welcoming.. We arrived late after hours, and they were still available at the front desk, answered all our questions, and made us feel really comfortable... Our waiter seemed more focused on getting us to order pricier items than on providing good service, and both the food and drinks took a long time to come out. The restaurant was not busy at the time, so I'm not sure why everything took so long. We were only a party of two, and our order was pretty basic: two cocktails, an appetizer, and two main courses. When it was time to pay, the bill came with a 20% tip already included. Nowhere did it say beforehand that gratuity would automatically be added. Considering the slow service, 20% seemed excessive. Even 15% would have been a lot for the level of service we received, but it would have felt more reasonable. I was thrown off by the experience but decided not to make a big deal about it at the time. I came across her business on Yelp and immediately reached out to inquire about a taco bar. She quickly provided a menu and all the details I needed. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the Airbnb and reached out to let her know. She was incredibly understanding and explained that she does travel to the States, but with a slight increase in price. She also offered to provide me with a full refund. After consulting with my significant other, we decided it would be best to wait and book with her when we are in Ensenada. When I notified her, she was once again very professional, understanding, and promptly issued a full refund of my deposit. I truly appreciate her honesty, communication, and professionalism. There were 11 of us and each of us got a nicely sized portion of four different dishes. They were made with amazing craftsmanship, but also love. And the attention to detail was exceptional. Besides the good wine, the food at the restaurant is tasty and service is VERY attentive! Drinks are delicious with good ingredients!! We also rent their gorgeous house at the property. Due to this , when we arrive, they always offer us complimentary sangria before we head to the house. The house is a wonderful space with everything we could need. Very modern open concept. We always enjoy our stay and will continue to stay here in the future when we come in our large group of friends and family. This house is set for a group of 12 people. If you have more people, you can also rent the additional villas. We always recommend this home to everyone who is looking for a shone for a larger group!!!
