This location will forever be my favorite taco spot in scv hands down! You can't really go wrong with anything on the menu here however my go to is always their asada & el pastor tacos. The asada tacos are always filled with juicy steak cooked to perfection & the al pastor tacos are always more than flavorful with every bite. I'm also a huge fan of their burritos & taquitos I just wish the taquitos didn't cost so much. Portion sizes are generous & food is never too oily which I appreciate. Prices are reasonable for the most part & service is always fast & friendly. Location is easy to find with decent parking. Ambiance is nice nothing crazy, the Inside is well kept with some indoor seating available. Pro tip never leave here without a side of their jalapeño sauce especially if you like a flavorful kick. This place isn't what it used to be. I grew up in Santa Clarita and I remember this was a good restaurant. I had an unpleasant experience. For one they don't take card "CASH ONLY" and for my luck I do t cart cash ever. Yes my fault, but they do have an atm I guess and that didn't work out either for me. Anyway, what I wanted they didn't have do I got 2 Gordita, it was soooo dry and to top it off they don't have queso fresco or sour cream. Like what!!! So I ended up theowing the other one away. That's like 7 dollars! My cousin got the milanesa de res torta and she said it was soooo dry too and so was the asada on her sons tacos! I ordered two orders of Camaro a al mojo de ajo and they were good just cold when we got them. Also unpleasant. On the plus side they don't charge for refills. Salsas are limited and if you want something doesn't feel like they want to give it to you. Total was like 60 but I definitely don't come back. I was so disappointed. read more

This is my favorite place to get Al pastor tacos. They are just so flavorful! Today we ordered our usual Al pastor tacos (never disappoints) and a steak burrito which was very good too! We pair this up with their green avocado salsa (mild spice). The salsa is a must! Customer service today was very attentive and nice, we even got free nachos with beans! This is my go-to spot for al pastor in town. Their Al pastor street tacos are unmatched. Love the gordita suprema as well! The host/cashier is very nice and friendly, she even asked if I wanted chips and beans and gave me a ton of pico de gallo & yummy salsa. It looks like a little hole-in-the-wall spot but don't be fooled, if you're looking for good street-style Mexican food that's not going to break the bank I highly recommend :) OH AND don't forget to bring cash, it's a cash-only place. Yum, yum give me some. This place has amazing tacos and salsa and it's clean and friendly. The staff were very gracious and helpful. We had to order two separate times because we HAD to have more tacos. We only had to wait 5 minutes and we were enjoying our food. We ordered food from another restaurant nearby and went for a walk to kill time. Instead, we ended up eating here and bringing home the other food. The Jamaica drink was good too. Highly recommended eatery with fresh chips, salsa and tacos. Lots of free parking, outdoor seating and it even has an atm. It's cash only so be ready to bring in the paper. This place is pretty good for a place in Valencia. And I LOVE mexican food. The atmosphere is pretty plain, but their food and service is great! They now have more than 5 different types of meats for quesadillas, burritos, and tacos...or they always had it but they just put the sign up recently. I really haven't tried anything other than asada and pastor because I dont really like anything other than those two, but pastor is my absolute fav! The chile relleno is perttty good too...but only once in a while. And the meat quesadillas are simple and filling if you dont want anything too big. OH! And the self serve sauces are pretty good too, but they change from time to time. But it's still always good despite their lack of sauces and beans from time to time. Hands-down, the best breakfast burrito in all of Santa Clarita. Maybe the best breakfast burritos I've ever had in my life. They also include beans, chips and salsa with the plate and the price is very reasonable at less than $15. You can't beat this place. i'll never get a breakfast burrito at any other spot in SCV. Just make sure you're going to the one on Lyons Avenue in Newhall. There are several spots in Santa Clarita that share the same name "Las delicias" but they are completely unrelated to this restaurant, and their food is nowhere near as good as the one on lyons. read more

I don't often write reviews, but I had to make an exception for this restaurant. I recently had dinner with my family here. I'm two boys were wild, but the waitress, Ruby, was fantastic. She gave us the best customer service and did not judge my kids loudness and messy spills. On top of superb customer service, the food was terrific! The pastor talks were better than any al pastor talks I've tried in this valley. My kids got kids meals and they were plentiful. They are very picky, but they enjoyed these quesadillas and it was not burnt like other places we have visited. I also got enchiladas which were mouth watering and the right amount of spicy. After speaking to the waitress about the menu, I discovered that they have birria and menudo too. We will definitely be coming back. Bonus: they have Aguas frescas and a variety of options for their salsa bar. This dinner was extremely delicious and the pricing was right. read more

Hmmm... where to start? Went in on a Sunday with my family to try this place out, I ordered the menudo and an Al Pastor taco. We also ordered a quesadilla, a few other tacos a side of beans, and a burrito. The good. The menudo was flavorless as they forgot to add ANY salt. After I poured a bunch of salt in it tasted good. The tacos were good and the salsas were tasty. The bad. They fountain dispenser was putting out black chunks in the drinks. It was gross. They had canned drinks so they gave us those. However nothing diet so... I went without and sipped my menudo. The beans smelled and tasted like an ashtray was dumped into them. So they were inedible as was the burrito. The quesadilla was just ok. So all in all it was not a pleasant experience for all of us. Will likely skip next time we feel like authentic Mexican food. read more

Giving this place 5 stars. I've been living in Newhall for 2 years and hadn't tried this place until last month. Since then, my family and I have eaten here at least 5 times. I always order the chilaquiles (green salsa) and they're amazing. It's a huge portion (I always have a generous portion leftover for the next day. It's a great value. And... it's so delicious. Oh my god....they're spicy, they're cheesy and delicious. Thinking about them now is making my mouth water and I just had some two days ago. I have been on a quest for some time now. I had to find good al pastor tacos somewhere near my house. For those of you that are not in the know, al pastor is slices of marinated pork. Traditionally, the large slices are stacked two feet high or so. Then a spit is driven through the slices. The meat is then placed on a vertical broiler. When ordered, they crank up the heat and slice little bits off. The high heat caramelizes the ends of the meat. Pineapple is sometimes added and the meat is placed into a taco or burrito. This is heaven, especially after a night of drinking beer. Until now, I have only been able to find good al pastor in Tijuana. I long for this and eat my fill from the taco carts when south of the border. While I have been able to find al pastor at many Mexican places in L.A., it is not done on the spit, and the difference is night and day. So a year or so ago, I am driving down Lyons Ave. and I see a big crowd of people in front of Las Delicias. And what is at the center of the crowd? I see a vertical broiler with a stack of al pastor on it being cooked in the parking lot. I could not turn the car around fast enough. I found a true gem at Las Delicias. It is a real Mexican restaurant. People are hollering in Spanish. They have a salsa cart with radishes, chilies, limes, onions, cilantro, and salsa. They deal in cash only, and the Hispanic customers seem to eye me warily. They probably wonder what a big tall white guy is doing here. Las Delicias is open until 2am, seven nights a week. This is unheard of. Tacos are $1 a piece. I tried the carne asada ones as well. They are great but my heart is with the al pastor. They even cut a chunk of pineapple from the top of the spit and flick it into the taco with the knife. True showmanship. Other reviewers seem to have found that early in the day it is not as good. If they are re-heating meat I would not recommend stopping in then. I have only stopped in after 6pm. As for the spit/cart, they sometimes have it inside and sometimes outside. This does not affect the quality. I have stopped in during the week and found they had the spit going at night. Do yourself a favor and go here. Be sure to try the al pastor. read more

Their salsa bar is unlike any other I've seen - late at night it even features free refried beans! The orders come out pretty quick, but listen closely to the woman behind the counter. They don't always call out the orders very loudly. The only caveat is that they're cash only, but so worth robbing your piggy bank for the spare change if your bank account is low. read more

I have never been for lunch or to be honest before 10PM. Everything there at night is $1. The menu is a little limited, but you have the choice from Carne Asada, Lengua, Cabesa, Chorizo, or, my favorite, Pastor tacos. The atmosphere is nice. You can sit outside if it's a nice night and they also have tables inside. The self serve salsa bar is nice and they even have pumpkin seeds. I'm not sure of the time, but at a certain time in the evening they bring out the meat that has been slow cooking on the vertical rotisserie all day. I stand corrected with my previous review. they jip you on ingredients... instead of guac I get avocado slices on my taco salad and I always check. please tell me why I only get like two slivers of a slice for the avocado that I had to ask for more.... and they don't even put enough lettuce in the SALAD. this is ridiculous.
