The good is still very good I haven't been here in 6 years, small little. Ozzy restaurant service is good the staff friendly the ambiance it's nice family friendly, nice to bring date , they do have a variety of good so read the menu well food is delicious. This place has been around for over 20 year, last good restaurant in the area

This is my favorite Peruvian restaurant been coming here for years on and off. Was here a little over a month ago. I typically get the Jalea or Lomo saltado or mariscos saltado. The price is slightly more than other Peruvian restaurants. Went had the delicioua Jalea and 3 inca kolas. You gotta have Incan kola with the meal. And a soup . The Jalea is more than enough for 2 people. The bill was about $50. The service was ok. The food though should be a 4.5 but im feeling generous today!! The calamari, flounder i think, tasty yuca and lemon added on by myself as well as the octopus mmmmm im gettinf myself hungry lol. Check out the pic. Enjoy, great place been around over 20 years. Decor is ehhh but food is spot on. Sometimes crowded. Call before going, peak times.

Nice place located in Queens. Not your typical Peruvian restaurant. They sell chicken but not whole. It's only chicken breast served though out there menu. I ordered the Lomo Saltado (Carne). It was ok. We ordered Fried Calamari but it didn't come with any sauce. The papa hucanian was good. Staff is ok, nothing great to write home about. They can be a bit more friendly. The place is nice, cozy and it has 13 tables. Overall it's a quick place to grab a quick bite. If your hungry you will love this place.

Get the family-style Jalea, the literal best.

I'm Peruvian-American, born and raised in NYC, and this is my favorite Peruvian restaurant in NYC. That's it, that the review.

    Tallarines Verdes con Bistec

First of all, when you go to the restaurant, it's small and kinda dense in terms of space and they have white curtains in between tables which helps in privacy from behind and in front of you but not the side across the room. There was a lunch special going on, which gave a good deal for like soup and beef stew with beans and rice. Papa la huanchada was good but not spicy at all. The soup was good it reminds me of good minestrone. However, my biggest complaint is my dish of green spaghetti with beef steak. Tallardina verde de bistec. The green spaghetti is flavorless and blend and and very vinegar. I believe that the sauce that they use is premade cause it tasted very old and outdated. The spaghetti is fine but the sauce ruined its quality. The steak was good in terms of freshness quality but the spaghetti ruined it for me. For the price of this dish, it should be way less because it tastes very cheap and not worth the cost. The waitress understood that I didn't like it and took it back and did not charge me for it and she offered to give me fried rice with the steak. Which I got. I really wish I can give a good rating for the fried rice too but all I taste was pretty much just oil, it's kind of flavorless, it's weird as it had onions but there was no flavor, and I suspect that the rice they use was very old, even the steak didn't help it. I had the chicha morada to wash it down to get the flavor out. Overall, I was disappointed with my lunch at this restaurant. It's a shame because I used to go to this restaurant in the past and the food was better quality compared to now. I don't know if it's the new management or the chefs or the preparation of the food but something needs to change in order for me to give this restaurant a good review. While I do appreciate the waitress for attending, I cannot give a good review since my lunch was not met to my expectations. Avoid the green spaghetti at all times and the fried rice. If you have to eat here, that's your decision, but if you want better Peruvian food, I suggest look for someplace else that offers better Peruvian food in terms of better quality and better prices. Las delicia, please change yourself in the future to make your food and the restaurant better in terms of its food quality, service and atmosphere.

    Awesome, jalea was delicious.

Wow! I came back here for Mother's Day, oh man how the quality has come down, not the same restaurant it use to be? Urubamba has got you beat! so sad! I won't be coming back

    Chicken soup=delicious

I ate their lomo saltado and chicken soup. Both had a homemade flavor and tasted very good. The prices were pretty reasonable and I had no complaints with the service. The food is great if your in the neighborhood but I just don't feel this place is a complete home run.

I've been going to this place when I was young and it never fails me. Aji de gallina, causa de atun, pescado a lo macho, etc. once you go in ask for jara de chica morada y a delicious jalea

I ordered a Jalea and it came with just calamaris, 2 shrimp and 2 little pieces of fish for almost $30, never again. They stole my money.

Also, it's one of the only places in Terminal C I can get guaranteed fresh vegan food. So... you do you. I'm gonna do me, and it looks a four pound salad from Chopt (it was the same weight as my rabbit, sooooo that's my point of reference?). Stopped by here recently during a long layover and built this: 1. Chopt greens blend (kale, romaine, cabbage, spinach, arugula) 2. falafel 3. edamame 4. garbanzo beans 5. hummus ^ do you see all the protein and fiber I just racked up here? ^^ PRO TIP: ask for a big dollop of hummus AFTER your salad is chopt 5. avocado 6. cucumbers, tomatoes, and olives 7. lemon tahini dressing Seriously, the bowl was enormous. The highlight, and this is super specific and probably not ever replicable, was the young man who built my bowl. There were three people working, and they were slammed with tired flyers. I'm SO HAPPY I got who I got, because the older woman working was telling the people she was building bowls for that they were out of things (because she didn't want to take the time to go to the backroom to replace ingredients). I asked for avocado in my bowl, and the older woman hissed at the younger man, "we don't have that, don't let people ask for it" and he kinda brushed her off. At the end of my building bowl, he asked me if it looked like anything was missing, I mentioned the avocado, and the lady - loudly this time - said to him, "I SAID NO." He made an annoyed face at her, went into the back room, cut a fresh avocado, and brought it back out for my salad. She said to him, "oh, can I have the other half?" He ignored her, rang me up while simultaneously helping another customer who was abandoned by the third employee (an older man) when he couldn't figure out that she wanted to pay via the app, and was friendly and patient and kind the entire time. Good service isn't dead, is the point.

Service* The staff's conduct and movement signifies luxury and elegance. The staff moves with stealth and precision. Very professional and providing top tier customer service. My server's name was Rahway he was very smooth, poised, soft toned in speech, and very attentive. Food* After viewing the menu, I decided on the Ditmars Street Wings that was accompanied by buffalo sauce, celery, and carrots. I also ordered the Eastern Mediterranean Mezze which consisted of silky chickpea hummus, shipped sheep's milk feta, charred seasonal vegetables, preserved lemon vinaigrette, along with warm stone- baked pita. Let's get to the meat of the review. The presentation of the wings was picture perfect. Large meaty drums and flats with a nice temperature, mildly glazed with barbeque sauce, moist and absolutely Delicious with a very slight crunch. The Eastern Mediterranean Mezza. Maybe it is just that I love a Mediterranean dish, but this dish really hit. The tomatoes, artichokes and feta wrapped in grape leaves, with hot pita, all dipped in chickpea hummus. This dish taste so good it feels blissful. Each sip of Prosecco enhanced the flow of the meal from start to finish. I can't wait to go back. Inspire more, Yelp more!

Not only do the servers serve in the actual bar area but there is a large area across from the bar with seating and tables so the servers run around and disappear, it took well over a half hour to get our food after we ordered. The high-top tables have very uncomfortable chairs and my legs were numb by the time we got up. Also, the chairs weigh a ton and I was not able to move it close to the table, I had to lean forward to eat. At check in we were given a voucher to use for dinner or breakfast worth only $10. You can't get a piece of toast for $10. That is a joke and an insult to loyal members.
