Decided to visit Las Floras after passing it several times on the way home. So glad we stopped! We ordered the Strawberry Cheesecake cup and the Fresca Con Crema (strawberries and cream). Both were fresh and yummy. Cream was sweet but not too sweet and had a wonderful balanced full flavor. Strawberries in both items were fresh and plump. We had a gentleman helping us and the service was fast and efficient. Ambiance was cute and I loved the paintings on the walls. I will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

I haven't been this excited about a place in a long time!! I grew up in Houston, where these treats were so common and easy to get, but I've missed it so much being here!! There are a couple places in town that offer a few items or popsicles, but this is the one that feels like home!! They have bionicos.. like WHAT?!?! I didn't know until after I got there so I didn't order one today, but think "ice cream sundaes made by your fairy godmother".. that's how good and how "extra" they are lol. This is where you are going to find the "loaded" hot Cheetos and Doritos! Flora is the owner. So sweet!!! She speaks English and Spanish, and makes everything when you order it! Don't pass the frescas con crema (strawberries and cream) or the Esquites (Elote or corn with all the things, in a cup) The building looks like a little house, right next to the cleaners! It broke my heart that she said I was her only customer today, that not a lot of people know about her place. Normally I'd be excited because no wait times for me, but that would be too selfish to keep this place a secret. EVERYONE should try this place. Fun for a dessert stop, or when you are hungry but sick of fast food and not wanting anything too heavy.

Tostada Ceviche...was amazing and very fresh

We have been wanting to try this little gem for the longest and today we had the opportunity to experience it. This place was clean, the atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. The gentleman that served us was very friendly. His customer service was amazing and he made sure we had a great time. The food was amazing and fresh. I enjoy checking out places like this gem and we will most definitely be going back again. If I could give this place a million stars I would.

I got something really easy to make and my husband's wasn't crazy either. The two young people serving the ice cream just had really bad attitudes. It was completely off putting. I began with a "hey, how are you?" to the young black man, and actually got no response... my husband also got no response from the other young person with glasses and a mask on after thanking them. I've worked many years in food service before and having no decent manners in that job (especially one that asks for tips) is really unsettling to me. Thankfully, there was a very sweet young brown haired girl working the computer. She was extremely sweet and obviously well versed in customer service. But it is disheartening to know that the three of them probably all share tips and hers could be getting tanked from the other twos' attitudes. I'd also be very upset if I were the manager running the store and wasn't able to trust young adults to be friendly and positive to customers while away. I understand that it's the end of their shift, but it is quite literally their job to be nice and serve ice cream. Just basic manners is all I care for. The ice cream was good of course- it's cold stone. But I'm hoping when we return, we're met with some smiles and how are you's!

They have a number of stuffed and warm cookies to choose from. I couldn't decide on just one flavor and so opted for two! This was a bit of a mistake as their cookies are really large and dense which I discovered when the worker placed the first box with one cookie on the counter before me and it made an audible kerplunk. My goodness! I got their chocolate peanut butter cookie as well as a sugar cookie. When I realized how ample the cookies were, I gave the sugar cookie to the hotel clerk at my hotel, so I can only speak to the chocolate peanut butter cookie. It was sweet and delicious. I will note that their cookies are very sweet. I don't eat sweets often so the rich sweetness of one cookie was a bit much for me. Were I to go again, I'd probably split one with a friend. That said, the cookie was warm and ooey-gooey. It's kind of an inside out peanut butter cup with a peanut butter cookie surrounding a fudge-y chocolate center. If you like a chocolate/pb combo--this cookie is for you! The workers were lovely. I walked in with no familiarity with the biz and the clerk immediately gave me the rundown of their cookies and how ordering works. They were all so nice in here! If you're looking for an indulgent sweet treat, Dirty Dough has you covered! Get to it!

There were a few machines that weren't operating but still enough flavors to have a great experience with the family. If you wanted a shake or drink, they can order from the register. If they wanted yogurt/ice cream then they could have the experience. Showed them how to get started; you select a size bowl (S/M/L), then select as MANY yogurts/Ice cream that you want to add in the cup BUT they had to make room for the toppings bar that is located near the yogurt/ice cream machines. Once they have placed all their flavors or ice cream/yogurt and added their toppings, they had to put it on the scale to have it weighed. Pending on how much it weighs is how much the dessert was. I'm telling you my dad had 5 different ice creams/yogurts with 7 toppings on there. I only had 2 toppings with a few toppings and it was all delicious. Great experience for my family who hasn't seen this kind of place on the West Coast. Also pictured is Taro Boba tea that was delicious! We also got to sit at the nice booth seating area and seen a few ice cream rolls being made for other customers. What a great experience for my out of town family.
