Leftovers and extra food to go. Peace

Great place! Excellent service. Solomon was an extremely attentive server. Plenty of food choices. Great bar, nice atmosphere. Quiet, comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of parking right off the highway. We will be back!

    Carne asada

Food is always pretty good. These two plates came out at 15 dollars. Service is very fast.

Street tacos, Spanish rice with refried beans and various sauces

The service was excellent the tacos were good but a bit too spicy to taste the flavors of the ingredients. There was plenty of food for good prices. The guacamole could have been better, there was almost a 1/2 of a whole avocado in the mix. The rice was lacking flavor. The refried beans were tasty but there could have been a little more cheese on top. I also got a side of a beef enchilada. The taste was ok but it could have used more red sauce. All in all average food for average prices.

Went back a few days ago. When I ordered a salad with my seafood fajita, the waiter suggested that I didn't need it. He was right, and he was attentive throughout. Best seafood fajita that I've ever had. Good michelada. Great service. This place gets another star. 5 wouldn't make sense for a place that does no more than do a very good job of the usual. That said, I'll be back.

    a bowl of salad

This place is amazing. The flavor is there , unlike some of the other local mexican cuisine that I find bland. The steak burrito is huge , I always take home a box. One of our favorite parts of eating here is their salsa, it tastes so good. Basically this is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.

    Fajitas tropical

I got the fajitas tropical which had a mix of beef, chicken, sausage, and pineapple and the portion was very big. I asked for corn tortillas instead of flour. The meal was enjoyable. The salsa served with chips was extremely mild but tasty and there is no hot sauce on the table - you need to ask for it. The meal came out real fast but me getting refills on my ice tea was horrible. My waiter served me and I hardly saw him after that. The price was very reasonable and atmosphere was good.

Not bad Mexican food. The salsa is good (very cilantro-y) and the portions are large. There's lots of seating too

Great salsa. Entres are tasty and timely. The chips keep flowing, and value is quite good.

Decent service, the salsa is very flavorful. The margarita was very strong, which I prefer.

The chorrizo is very flavorful. Staff is quick and very playful. Don't care for the guacomole though. Anything else, wonderful.

**Restaurant Review: El Rey, Bridgeport, WV**…read more El Rey in Bridgeport, WV, is the kind of place that sneaks up on you. Tucked away in a strip mall, it doesn't scream for attention, but once you step inside, the buzz of conversation and the scent of something sizzling on the grill hits you like a freight train. It's clear you're about to experience something real. I ordered the "Fajita Canada," and damn, what a plate. It arrives at your table like a scene from a movie--seafood and vegetables still crackling on the hot skillet, steam rising, the promise of a meal that's about to wreck your sense of what dinner should be. The seafood was fresh, plucked from wherever it could be found, and the vegetables had that crispness you only get from knowing your way around a flame. The flavors are bold, unapologetic, and honest--exactly what you want from a place like this. It's not about presentation or pretense; it's about the food and the people who make it. The service is no-nonsense, and the space feels like a refuge from the bland sameness you find in so many places these days. If you're in Bridgeport and looking for something that's more than just a meal, head to El Rey. Order the Fajita Canada. Let it take you somewhere far from the ordinary.
