A great go to Mexican restaurant that's close by in Chelsea for when there is no dinner planned. Fastest dinner service I have had. It was Thursday at 5pm. Chips were fresh and hot, salsa was fresh and mild, you get a lot of cheese on a cheese quesadilla with queso ontop, and the rice and beans were amazing and compliments the quesadilla well. Environment is great. Great place to bring the family with small children. Friendly staff. I have never had a bad interaction here! read more

We got takeout and it was really greasy/oily. Mine in particular was fish/shrimp and vegetables and rice, and I thought that would be a pretty clean and healthy option but it was swimming in grease. Update from six months ago: Wow, someone read my review! The crowd has doubled! Full restaurant with at least 3 parties waiting to get in on a Saturday night. Best to come early or later than 6 pm! Food was still very good! This time I had steak quesadilla supreme, which meant it came with salad instead of rice/beans. I gave mine a 4.5 grade. Hubby had the steak Tacos Al Carbon on flour Tortillas, which he graded 4.1 out of 5. Our friend had talapia topped with shrimp, a new dish which looked fantastic. He liked it. Decor and service still excellent. Prices are reasonable. Shared a medium margarita (good sized!) which was another 4.5! Our 2 entrees and the drink were about $35. Only downside is we felt a bit rushed. At least waitress was very attentive! read more

Our entrees were the Burrito Deluxe Dinner (Texan) and a Chimichanga with steak. Both of these were winners and we would definitely get them again! A lot of times Mexican restaurants just kind of run together but we felt like this one was a cut above the rest. The staff was very friendly and attentive and seemed happy to be there and took great care of us. Really great atmosphere with tasty food and large portions. Restaurant looks great inside and out however the food does not live up to its looks. Good place for margaritas but the flavor and freshness of the food is honestly below average. I've been here 5 times and tried 5 separate entrees and they were all subpar. I have no clue why this place has such bad ratings. If you are wanting Mexican food & are hesitant to come here due to the reviews i would recommend ignoring them & trying for yourself. I came here with my family yesterday (table for 13). They were more than attentive, refilling our drinks constantly & making sure we had chips & salsa the whole time. I ordered the shrimp fajitas, my family ordered all different things and not one of us was disappointed. The food came quick and we had a very nice experience. This place is great! We just moved to Chelsea and were looking for a good Mexican place. We got 2 entrees, queso & drinks all for $27!!

The cashier was rude and hateful. They are not good to their employees. When they make a mistake with an order they charge the employee. How do we know this we said something about our bill And they made our waiter pay the difference. Food was not not good. Beans were bland and rice was not soft. The waiter was super nice to us. The food portions were good. The cook was spot on and the service was fair. The most and worst problem a restaurant can have is the food not having flavor. Of the four meals, none had any seasoning. We tried this place because our FAVORITE place Besitos was closed. I had the shrimp tacos and my husband had regular beef tacos. The flour tortillas for the shrimp taco was soggy and the beef was undercooked. They took the beef tacos off the bill which was nice.
