I was told by a local that I absolutely had to try their Green Chile so I decided to stop by. Service here isn't great. There is no sense of urgency from the servers and the place isn't the cleanest. Their menu is way too big and, honestly, most of it didn't sound too appetizing. I ended up getting their Taco de Carne Adovada and a cup of Green Chile. I was pretty disappointed by both of these. The taco was mushy in texture and I didn't like the seasoning or sauce. The green chile was incredibly bland other than the strong peppery taste. I couldn't even finish the small cup I got. Really not sure what the local was talking about when they recommended this to me. My friend got the ceviche and it was okay. You couldn't taste the shrimp because the flavor was taken over by the onions. Thankfully, they gave plenty of limes to counteract the flavor. The tostadas weren't soaked and kept their crunch. Would not recommend getting it from here though as there are plenty of better places.

Decided to try these guys tonight. Went in about 730 on a Saturday night. Wasn't very busy. The main dining area was clean and cozy. The young man who took my order at the register was very friendly and welcoming. He saod it was his last day though. I Ordered 3 items. The mini rellano appetizer, combination nachos and vegetable fajitas. The rellanos came with a side of green chili. Vegetarian I'm pretty sure, there was no noticeable meat. Taste was good. Not spicy but had a decent flavor. The rellanos alone were pretty good. Nive amd simpleThe nachos were the star of the meal. They came with chicken and beef and all the fixings. The guacamole is very good! Taste delicious and fresh! Good avacado flavor! Decent portion for a decent price. The fajitas were a huge let down. I got the vegetable fajitas and they were literally barely seasoned green bell peppers and onions. Far cry from the vegetable medley I'm used too from other places near buy. They were a little over cooked and pretty bland. The beans and rice that came with it were pretty good though. Definitely made the meal better! One thing that was VERY GOOD, was the chips and salsa. The salsa was very flavorful and fresh! Good flavor, good spice. A± salsa! Overall, I'm not sure I would go back, there are too many better selections near buy.

I moved here from San Antonio, so maybe I'm a little bias but I went to Las Palmas last weekend. You can tell the owners have no passion. Dated decor and the food, well it needs work. None of their tortillas are made from scratch. Making homemade tortillas is so easy! Ordered a large beer which was $10 (My lord!) and asked for Al pastor. They had some other pork taco dish that I ordered. The meat looked boiled and tasted like cafeteria food. I'm serious haha. Also weird was that the rice had Lima beans in it. Very strange. It just looks like they've been doing the same old thing for 20 plus years and have gotten lazy with it. You can definitely tell the owners didn't put money into the place over time and moved with the times. I just think the people of Colorado don't really have a clue what they're missing because they know nothing different. I'm hispanic and I've had great Mexican food and this place isn't it. Trust me!

We were in the mood for Mexican food and this place was excellent. The food and service were great. It's a very cozy and family oriented. They were quick and again if you get a chance try the food highly recommend it. We had the enchiladas and the chimichanga.

The food has been consistently excellent both times we've visited. The bone-in wings with the Jalapeño Gold BBQ sauce were fantastic, and the Cali-style chicken burrito with tomatillo salsa was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. What really stood out, though, was the atmosphere and the people. This was only our second visit, yet three employees--two younger staff members and one other lady--recognized us immediately and seemed genuinely excited to see us back. It wasn't the forced "customer service" kind of friendliness; it felt sincere. They greeted us warmly, remembered us, and made us feel like regulars after only one prior visit. In a world where so many places make you feel like just another transaction, that kind of hospitality leaves an impression. The food brought us back, but the people are what will keep us coming. Billy Birch has earned a repeat customer in us, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend.

Kind of knew what to expect when I saw the outside and was not surprised. DIVE BAR, but seems like it in a good way, at least at this hour on a Monday night. A ton of TVs for watching sports, two pool tables, shuffleboard, some other games and stuff if you want to keep busy. Bartender knew everyone in the place, few people playing pool (kind of place where the regulars might bring their sticks), others just chilling. Some underaged kid got tossed who had come in with a regular but even that was chill with no issues, and the regular stayed after the kid was tossed. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Place does not serve food, but did have freshly made popcorn so that worked for a snack. So if you like DIVE BARS, which honestly I do, you should check it out. Oh, and the sign about colors and other 'club related' clothing also tells you who might be around later in the evening. I will say I haven't seen a place like this in Colorado in a while, but reminded me of the bars back east where I grew up.

This is a rather difficult review to write. A friend I hit this bar twice a week on average. Once…read moreduring the week, and sometimes on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If we plan to have more then 2 drinks, we prefer to be within a few blocks of "home", and the Silver Bullet is convenient in that respect. We both moved to Thornton earlier this year, from different parts of New England. And we are both older adults who don't really enjoy loud and contemporary music. After visiting Joe Polooka's a few times we tried the Silver Bullet and haven't been back to Joe's. We also hit The Glenn on regular basis, but though we really dig The Glenn, the level of music inside after 8 pm is just too loud for us to be comfortable. Anyways, about Silver Bullet Saloon. First, no food. Unless you count the horrible nachos with fake cheese. Eww. Drinks are sometimes inconsistent based on the night's bartender, but they do have frequent specials of all types. Beer selection is basic, but cheap, and so are the well drinks. Silver Bullet has different happy hours based on any number of different events (weekends, happy hour, sports games, etc.) Just beware that depending on your bartender, happy hour well drinks can be weaker then normal. Because we go there so often, and always sit at the bar, the usual bartenders know us and treat us pretty well. A lot of regulars hit this place, and we have actually had real conversations with several patrons. The mix of patrons skews older, but is pretty random any night you might visit. If you sit at the bar, it's pretty likely someone will chat you up if they recognize you from previous visits. On weekdays, music is through the jukebox, and if you like "alternative music" you will be out of luck. Saturdays and Sundays a DJ plays a mix of music and will play just about anything you ask for, if he has it. Generally older rock, some country, and a touch of hip-hop is on the box. And, at the risk of bringing a bunch of freeloaders into Silver Bullet on weekdays, the pool tables are free Monday through Thursday if your order a couple of drinks. All night. If you like pool and don't mind an older crowd, this might be your place. Ambiance is minimal. Lot's of TV's, and it can get noisy/crowded on big sports game nights. Typical weekend nights are more laid back and the DJ adds some flavor to the music mix. The primary Bartender is female and loud and takes some getting used to. The weekday bartenders are also female but not nearly as interesting. They just hired somebody new to help with the weekend crowd, and she's nice enough but not yet really settled in. I gave the Silver Bullet Saloon only 3 stars because: - The ambiance is nothing to write home about - The consistency of drinks isn't always a given - Weekend nights can be somewhat crowded until about 11 pm - It's a small place with limited seating that I would consider "comfortable"

The bartender was clueless and rude, and I'm not sure if she was on something, like meth, but she damn near started a fight with a couple people, and I mean instigating a problem as a third party. I'm not sure of her name but she made sure myself, or anybody in my party will be back. This is by far the dirtiest, lowest bar in the area. Colfax has more decent places, I have no idea how this place is still in business when there's a few other bars within walking distance that are priced the same, and they care about who they hire. Like cleaning staff.

The tots were crispy and the sausage was mild. The What the French was torn up pieces of French toast covered with a honey based sauce. The Bruschetta Boards provided a full assortment of the items offered. The favorite was the Sweet & Spicy Pepper Jam & Goat Cheese. The kids enjoyed their meals as well. The Picnic is nice as it's just sliced chicken, grapes, and apples. They ate it all!
