Five sausages included with spiced onions and tomato slices. On weekends they have three types of stuffed savory pastry burak available. But you don't have to be ready to eat right then and there. Available frozen are whole burak that just need 30 minutes in the oven. You can call ahead and they will put it in their oven for you to pick up hot when you arrive. They also have fresh sausages made weekly on site as well as frozen ones. Fresh cheeses with feta from multiple countries on tap. As the name suggests it is also a market. Cookies, chips, coffee and drinks line clean and accessible shelves alongside the spices and canned ingredients for a wide range of regional dishes. Finally the family business is super helpful folks from the region who patiently walked this first timer through all they offer. They were also willing to hear about my trips to four Balkan countries and the nostalgia seeing all the food brought back.

Bright and clean inside, loads of dry goods, snacks, drinks, frozen items, pastries, meats... Most of the pastries and sausages are made here. They can grill some kevapi up for you, or you can take them home. Since I'm heading to the Serbian Festival this weekend I figured I could wait, but I did get some spicy leek sausage for later. Also assorted baklava and other pastries, and a few odds and ends. Good prices. Great service. Friendly, helpful owners. Easy access off the highway. Plenty of parking, in the mall by the home store. Worth a detour.

What stood out even more was how kind and considerate the staff was. I was there on crutches, and one of the employees even asked if I would like them to get a cart for me. It wasn't necessary, but it was such a thoughtful gesture and very much appreciated. My family and I really enjoyed our experience, and we're already planning when we can go back. It's always nice to shop somewhere where you feel welcomed and taken care of.

Her eyes grew wide as she asked, "why are you making Kim chee, you can buy it!". when I told her that I just becoming familiar with Korean food and knew that it was a staple in most Korean homes I wanted to learn to make it, she said "okay, let me help you get started " and she selected the powdered chili and then took me to the produce department to replace the vegetables in my cart with the correct products. This was the best thing ever about my shopping experiences at Saraga. Two weeks ago I shopped at Saraga for the last time. The aisles are packed with boxes and the floors and shelves are dirty, especially in the south Asian areas and near the Halal meat market. there is a frozen meat case with spices stacked on top that smells putrid. I'll bet there are meat products in there that date from the store's opening. The dry foods areas are in disarray, lack price tags etc. The only food shelves that are neat and clean and easy to use are in the Mexican aisle. The cooled shelves in the fresh produce section are filthy and clearly outdated merchandise is not removed or reduced in price. Finally, the parking lot has ruts, holes and trash thrown everywhere.

There's an AMAZING array of spices, mixes, blends, and heaven knows what else. I love this kind of market, so even though I didn't NEED anything, I did leave with a couple of packages of exotic teas, some spicy crackers, and some curry. A limited offering of fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, home supplies, and lots of MYSTERY (to me, anyway...) items to make you feel you've temporarily left suburban Reynoldsburg for someplace MUCH more EXOTIC!! Enjoy!!

First off, Annapurna's product selection is pretty dang stocked compared to other small independently owned south Asian markets I've visited in Columbus. Many veggies both green and root varieties) and fruits. I versed myself on the "tree tomato" fruit via Google, as there were several in the back cooler. I stopped in to see if they carried a certain coconut Candy I've recently been introduced to, but they didn't have the exact brand I was looking for. I did buy a sack of the candy made from a different company, and it's not quite as good as Chun Guang's Coconut Milk candies - these suckers are what I like to call KRYP. TO. NITE.
