Great food at a great price. Can't go wrong with the crispy tacos! So hard to get these days!

Got seated quickly. Server was nice. Chips and salsa were fine. No refried on the chips. Came with a group of 10 and we were seated quickly. The food was good. Just your average Mexican restaurant. Prices were great and the quality of the meat was good. I'm from SoCal, so it's hard to find better Mexican. Basically, average food at good prices. read more

They charged us more than we authorized on our debit card! How many others are they doing this to?! The service was awful. Our waitress, Maria H., was unfriendly, and clearly didn't like me asking questions about the menu. She never checked back with us, refilled our waters, or asked us if we needed anything else, (even dessert). Then she never dropped off or picked up our tab....we finally had to flag down one of the other workers to help us. Then a few days later I noticed we had been charged more than we had authorized! I'm not sure how they can even get away with doing that, (unless they added more gratuity themselves?) We will never go to this restaurant again. Unbelievably bad experience. read more

When I first walked in I was not expecting anything special, but I was so wrong! The service and staff were all very kind and fast. And, the food was great! I ordered the beef fajitas and thought it was super affordable for the portion size and the meat was well seasoned. The house salsa is also shockingly good. Maybe turn on some quiet music? Food was excellent! We were craving Mexican food. This friendly mom and pop were super friendly and served up well executed Mexican food. We're from the Bay Area. So we know what's up. Our ground beef taquitos and crispy taco were super crispy as advertised. Our boys loved their carnitas and carne asada tacos. Tamales were very meaty and flavorful with the red sauce. We would definitely come back to this cute Mexican restaurant. For all those who complained about their service... well it was a full house on the Sunday night we went in December. So they may not be super attentive or fast, but they are friendly and happy to serve up good food to hungry customers. Please thank them! read more

We had a very nice late lunch here while in the area. This is a small business with a nice big menu with decent prices and great portions. The enchiladas were great, but the tacos were the best! You get one basket of chips and salsa per table. Salsa was a bit runny and spicy for me and chips are pretty thick. Service was friendly and fast. You can dine inside or outside and they have parking out back or in the area nearby. read more

Great location, nice street view from inside with great openness to the patio seating with ample room and umbrellas for shade. The complimentary chips and salsa were of great quality - nice thick chips with fresh salsa with a perfect hint of heat. The salsa tasted as if was made fresh from the garden I ordered the chicken chimichanga plate with rice and beans. Delicious, family-run Mexican food. The only letdown was the chips (not great) and we didn't love the salsa, but the rest of the meal was authentic and absolutely mouthwatering. I had the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans, my son ordered the chicken tacos, and my husband had the beef burrito--we cleaned our plates. please im begging , SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE TRAUMA. the most horrifying food i've ever encountered, i can't even say ate because i was too afraid to swallow it. maybe if you're accustomed to unseasoned, chewy, suspicious food this place is suited for you. as an american with mexican heritage from sacramento california , i am letting you know. DO NOT WASTE YOUR APPETITE. i know good mexican food that leaves you full and satisfied WANTING to go back again. i promise you will walk away with 0 appetite and stunned at what the heck you just paid $70 for. so starters they misunderstood our drink order. my colleague ordered a strawberry margarita with an extra shot on the side. and they brought a house marg with no shot on the side. whatever , can be over looked. then came the guacamole. it taste like cheese? definitely not avocado. still could be over looked. then came the entrees. i braced myself cause ive had some below average mexican food. but absolutely nothing like this. i can say your experience will be like no other. i took a bite of the beans and just stared at her in disbelief. tasted like stale unfiltered water ?? then she proceeded to taste the enchilada and told me "wait till you taste the enchilada" and laughed.. i was hesitant but i cut a piece and put it in my mouth. it was a chicken enchilada, i chewed, and i couldn't swallow. the TEXTURE? i was scared id get food poisoning or something. so i spit it in a napkin. i guess the flavor resembled what could be an enchilada. i just laughed/cried and couldn't fathom what they served us. i really didn't want to pay, but we're also not ones to complain so we paid the $70 check and left in disbelief. all i can say is save yourselves, PLEASE find elsewhere, i cannot believe a LOCAL suggested this place. no way. the bar looked cute inside tho lol read more

My boyfriend went here after reading a few reviews and we both thought ok, this place sounds good. We both love Mexican food!! He got back and opened up the containers, everything looked really good!! I took one bite & could not finish chewing the burrito. I don't write reviews often and try not to complain but we didn't have a great experience. Server messed up on 2 of our orders, never checked on us, never refilled our water. The server was busy and I understand that but overall wasn't a great experience. Also I swear my margarita didn't have any alcohol lol. Came here on a random whim. Huge party out at front but considering that we were seated quite quickly. Another server had to bring us our menus. The tostada itself was the only good thing about the meal. I had ordered beef but they way it was cut up reminded me of dog food tbh. My mom enjoyed her meal. The panchitas. Wanting Tacos we came here 1/2 hr before closing. We were seated quickly, ordered drinks and food. The drinks came and shortly afterwards the food arrived. We ordered tacos, and a quesadilla. The tacos were a decent size, the fish taco was good but the chicken and beef tacos lacked a punchy seasoning, also they would e way better if there were two tortillas since the grease made just the one really soggy. The quesadilla just lacked everything, the filling was sparse and again it lacked seasoning. The service was great, the servers were great, the location is great but the food lacked authentic seasoning and spicing. read more

Would not recommend this place. They use the same sauce to put on enchiladas as on burritos. I had Machaca which is supposed to have egg in it. It had no egg. Was so dry that I couldn't swallow it. It had bagged potato cubes in it that were not cooked. The meat looked like it has been sitting out for a day, had the two tone look that meat gets when left out to long. We left 3/4 the food there and left. On the up side, the canned refried beans was good. The floor tortilla was old and dry around the edges. Eat at own risk should be at the door. Panchitas was so amazing. Maria was our waiter, not only she is so sweet in her own ways, but she makes you feel at home. The food was superb and the margaritas were so delicious. I got to meet the owner and he was cordial and fun. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

After we swam in the lake for a couple of hours, everybody built up an appetite. The kids wanted pizza but it was so small crowded inside and a hour wait. So we went across the street and decided to try this place out. Great choice. They greeted us right away and they gave us a table. The food was outstanding and ordered the pitcher margaritas. Service was fine but we asked the waiter for a WiFi password and he said we was going to ask but never came back. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves one. I brought my construction crew here for lunch and honestly, it was embarrassing. The food was far from good -- the fajita meat was cut into what I can only describe as microscopic slivers, making it both hard to eat and lacking in flavor. On top of that, they charged extra for everything -- tortillas for fajitas (which should be included), chips and salsa, you name it. The service was downright terrible. Our server was nowhere to be found the entire time, and I had to walk up to the bar just to get my water refilled -- multiple times. It felt like we were completely forgotten. This was supposed to be a simple lunch break, but it turned into a frustrating and embarrassing situation. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, and I definitely won't be coming back. read more

Drove by this area and found this gem to sit down and eat at with the family, here is a breakdown of everything sampled and how everything faired my daughter literally had cheese, quesadilla minus the tortilla just cheese lol, per her it was delicious son had 2 beef tacos with cilantro and onions per him very good wife had Combination Fajitas with shrimp and chicken - tortillas on the side, latin slightly reddish rice, with pica di gallo (salsa), creama (sourcream), guacamole and of course refried beans. Lunch is the best time to eat here. Good food & good service. Unfortunately, the 3 men who run the dinner hour are incredibly slow. By the time our food arrived, it was lukewarm. Walked in on a beautiful summer evening. We were greeted right away. Within 2 minutes of being seated water, chips and salsa appeared. Drinks were very reasonable we had the white and red sangrias. Ordered tacos, tamales, enchiladas, rellenos. All of it was very good. Good sized portions. Reasonable prices. Surprisingly good and authentic Mexican food in this little town. Yummy nachos, fish tacos and asada tacos and fajitas. The veggies were roasted perfectly, the food all had a good amount of spice, and was fresh and steaming hot.
