I paid $75 in food and they went and locked the bathroom and refused to let me pee. When I pay $75 that is so rude and disrespectful.

I ordered the tostada with pork and it was a large portion with rice, black beans, big crisp edged pieces of flavorful pork, with I'm assuming tostada underneath, although there was so much lettuce, pork, cheese, cucumbers with a fine vinaigrette that it took me a bit to get to the tostadas.. this was not a bad thing. It also came with some crispy chips on the side with some of their housemade salsa, and you get the option of spice level you want and what type of salsa on the tostada. The service was quick and called out my name within 5 to 10 minutes, even though there was a good line of people filing in and coming and going and it was a busy summer weekend right at noon. Decided to get it to go entree of the 1/4 lb tritip and 1/4 lb chicken for my husband and this came with two sides of your choice and garlic bread or corn tortillas. I opted for the corn, but it was hard to turn down the garlic bread. It was also a good size to go plate and smelt wonderful.

I tried this place because i saw pictures of fish tacos on previous reviews. Much to my dismay,…read morethey were not on the menu and when i asked about them i was told that those were just a "seasonal" offering last year. Hmmm, isn't peak tourist season in tahoe the right time to have your seasonal offerings? Oh well i looked for something else. Honestly the menu is pretty scant for lunch. Only three sandwiches and one was a hamburger. I finally settled on the ahi poke tacos. I have had lots of poke in hawaii so i was skeptical being in tahoe but i must say they were good. Not great but i would order them again. The place has a hawaiian flair in the menu so i was hoping for maybe a katsu dish or more fresh fish options. I think fish tacos would be a slam dunk there but that's just me. The ambience is nice and i sat in the shade on the patio on one of the hottest days of the year and it was still quite pleasant. Parking is readily available (that's important in tahoe in the summer) and service was on point. It was a little pricey for lunch, being over $32 after tax and tip for tacos and a soda. They also charge 3% service charge for using a credit card which i did not see posted on any signs or menus. Disappointing to find hidden charges after the meal. Overall i would rate this 3.5 stars but half stars are not available.
