    The mexican grilled cheese

Go here for Tortas! First of all they are HUGE. Less than $10 for a gigantic torta. I ordered the mexican grilled cheese (eggs and 3 cheese) and it was amazing with the beans, avocado, sauce, etc. The temperature was perfect and everything was so melty and delicious. The bread was also so soft and tasty. I will definitely be going back.

Just so good. I've had about 50 tortas in my life in Arizona, California and Mexico. This one blew them all out of the water, best torta I've ever had. I went with my girlfriend who had never had any before and she was totally won over. The bread is amazing. The menu is extensive and I'm eager to other sandwiches. Definitely will be back

Authentic Tortas, Friendly Staff, great pace for a casual home made real food meal, I'd be a regular if I lived closer

Some of the best tortas in Denver. On the bigger side as they use square bread. The Lorena Herrera is my favorite.

This place is the definition of dependable. The service was good. Are they Chik fil-A or In-N-Out where they refuse to let you have a bad experience? No. But there also not snot-nosed kids who don't give two shuts about your well-being. I'd say they fall in the middle--not going of their way to help or hurt you. I really wanted to love this place. I adore gyro sandwiches and it seems there are never enough…read moreplaces to get an authentic one. The order process online went smoothly and the food was ready promptly. I was disappointed by the gyro and ended up not eating it. For the uninitiated, a gyro sandwich is a pita bread filled with gyro meat, tzatziki sauce, and sometimes lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The meat is made of a blend of seasoned lamb and beef meat molded around a vertical spit. The spit rotates and the outside is exposed to a heat source. As the meat broils, the chef carves off slices or chunks from the sections that have browned. Typically the gyro meat is cooked to "well done." The meat in my gyro was not browned; rather it was lighter colored and had a mealy mouthfeel. I've eaten gyros in traditional Greek restaurants and casual eateries in Chicago, Austin, San Francisco Bay Area, and now Denver, and this was the first time I've tasted the meat cooked this way. Three stars because the restaurant looked well kept and reasonably clean, the service was polite, and it's possible other people are not bothered by manner of preparation of the gyro. I also ordered a side of hummus and it was good.

He was really nice and said it would be no problem. We've had issues with this prior from another lady who works here. She's always rude about it when we've asked, and even went as far as saying that we can make those changes (even though we've tried numerous times to do so). Firehouse Subs Missing order…read more On November 24th, my wife walked into Firehouse Subs to pick up an order she had placed on the Firehouse website. Our food was not there. We found out that DoorDash had picked it up and delivered it to their customer. We found this out because the customer had called us, rather than rectifying the situation. The manager at Firehouse refused to remake our food or issue a refund. He told her there was nothing he could do and that she should request a refund online. This compounded the incident with poor customer service. We immediately notified Firehouse Subs about the issue. Jessica was quick to respond. However, she also said there was nothing that she could do as the store's POS system processed our payment. We therefore would have to get the refund from the store. Jessica added that she would forward the information to the store's ownership and management. It's been months, with no communication from the store. They took our money and did not provide us with food. That is theft. And to add insult to injury, their customer service was horrendous. We had already taken the matter up with management on site at the time, and do not wish to waste any more of our time. Sixty dollars is not much to us. But to others, it may be a lot. The reason why I am writing this review is the principle of this matter. What they did is wrong. According to feedingamerica.org, 20% of Americans are living with food insecurity. I said that $60 is not significant to me. However, for the 1 in 5 that it is, I am leaving this review. I am very sorry to hear that you have not yet been contacted by the store leadership for a resolution. I can understand you wanting a swift resolution, and this is not the experience we want for our fans. Unfortunately, I do not have a time frame for when they will contact you, but I have updated your case and it has been escalated to the restaurant management team. I have also requested that they follow up with you about this as quickly as possible. I have also alerted the store manager, letting them know that you still have not heard from the store yet. The leadership will try to contact you through your cell number, so please look out for unknown number calls that you might receive.   For the quickest resolution, I recommend you contact the store directly as they have the tools to resolve these issues. Once again, I am wholeheartedly sorry for the inconvenience caused and the Firehouse Subs family hope to serve you better soon. Thanks, Jessica

And having rainbow trout on regular menu is always a big plus. Theirs is some of the most solid, dependable, and delicious compared to their competitors. I loved how each flaky but delivered on its promise of scrumptiousness and subtlety. I would come here just for that honestly, though I've heard it's a great lunch place as well. The big letdown for both of us last night was the service. They were slow to take our orders, slow to get refills or ask if we needed anything, and slow to get us our bill. It was a trifecta of ineffectiveness. Our server was nice enough, but he definitely didn't make us feel like we were a priority at all. And that's something you should never do as a restaurant. The place was nice-looking enough and they had good energy from its patrons. It's just a shame the lack of good service kind of ruins the experience and makes us not want to visit this particular branch again on a return visit, whenever that might be.
