4 stars for the taste of the food, 2 stars for charging more than $2 extra for a smothered burrito that barely had any green Chile on it. I'm not a fan of places that charge extra for something and then skimp out.

Smothered burrito

Great food. Great service. My family got a quesadilla de asada, smothered burrito, & Chile relleno and we all loved our plate. My first time here and I'm coming back.

They have the best menudo. I have also tried a few different menu items and they were also very good. Yum!

One of the best tortas I've ever had in my life I love it..

Despite covid, this place is open and their food is amazing! Small area, but worth it for some quick food. Do NOT opt out on the chips.

We spoke with David and learned about their food and how much love they put in each dish. They have only been opened for 2 years. Service is friendly and the restaurant is very clean and modern. The food was phenomenal and Itacate is added to our list now. For starters, the fresada was delicious. It is a strawberry lemonade. I also ordered a Mango version to go. Very refreshing. We started off with the Queso Fundido with chorizo. It was hot and the cheese was just so good and stretchy. Such a nice find - we don't see it on menus in Colorado so must try. We ordered several tacos - birria, cochinita, shrimp, and fish. Every taco was delicious and full of flavor on its own. The rice and beans were also very well made. Each bite just bursts in flavor. David was kind enough to also let us try the Pambazo which is kind of like a torta but they grill it with the sauce on the outside. And if you put an egg in it, it can be fantastic breakfast sandwich. For dessert, we ordered the deditios con nieve which is funnel fries with sauce and coconut ice cream. It's deconstructed funnel cake essentially which my bf enjoyed because he can eat just the fries and ice cream. All in all, 10/10 experience. We will def be back

We both had a couple of tacos which were all delicious: 2 chicken, 1 shrimp and 1 fish. All of them were GF except the fish, due to the fish being breaded. The tortillas are deep fried which help them to hold together perfectly. The shrimp and chicken were both perfectly cooked and really flavorful. the cheese in all of them was delicious and gooey. They have a pretty big menu and we saw lots of delicious looking dishes floating by. Lots of vegetarian options too. (including potato tacos of which we ordered 2 to go and they were very well received). The service was great and very friendly. We will be back. Yum. The ambiance is nothing fancy but who cares when the food is so good!

We also enjoy the multiple TV screens so we can enjoy whatever sports game is on while dining. Our go to order is the three-smothered Burrito Plate, Super Burrito and/or Traditional Chimichanga. The extra hot green chili is really good! Sopapillas are also a must with a pitcher of margaritas! When it's your birthday the staff comes out to place a sombrero on the birthday person's head and loudly sings 'Happy Birthday'. It's always a fun time here. There are many other Mexican restaurants in the area to choose from but we enjoy coming here for the atmostphere.

The last time I went with two friends a couple of weeks ago, I was disappointed. First we were seated at a table that was so lopsided that we moved to another. That table was also lopsided so we tried a third. One of my two friends had picked Los Arcos for her birthday dinner. The food was good, as usual. Just before we got our food, we were asked if it was alright with us to move our table about 2 feet as they needed to add another table to a very long set up table for a large party. There wasn't very much room for us to move over but it was done. After dinner we're were sitting and taking when a waitress came up to us and asked "will you be staying long"? The way she said it sort of made me angry and I looked at her and asked her if she wanted us to leave. She said that the large party next to us had become even larger. She said if we were staying we needed to pick up and move to another table. It all seemed rude and not like the past service we had received at all. So we moved yet again. We had ordered fried ice cream which I love but it was so frozen that we couldn't even get a knife in it. Ended up leaving it. The treatment we received was nothing like many times in the past. I don't know if we will ever go back. John and Kendra, you and your restaurant are better than this.
