I'm so sad this company seems to have replaced EcoGen Pest Control? That's who I signed up with months ago, anyway, and THIS is who I've been on hold with for over 20 minutes. I called to cancel my service and--as if an AI bot acting as a human and uncomfortably using my name wasn't a good enough reason to cancel the service--the woman that eventually answered my call also offered subpar customer service. Additionally, apparently, in order to cancel your service, you have to speak to multiple people and they WILL NOT CANCEL YOUR SERVICE if you do not talk to the additional people that may or may NOT be available after a 20 minute hold. The first human operator told me someone would call me back to confirm and if I didn't answer, they would still show up and charge me. I explained that I should be able to just cancel now because I'm on the phone NOW confirming that I WANT TO CANCEL. Cue operator's exhaustion and a 20 minute hold. The next woman I spoke to wasted additional time and eventually told me I would be charged $250 for canceling my service early. The bummer is that the original company had awesome reviews and I thought it was a great company. However, the second woman told me they were already part of this company in March when I signed up--so I feel like I was intentionally bamboozled. So-if you like wasting money, getting duped, getting like 6 phone calls, multiple texts, and multiple emails EVERY MONTH, and getting your customer service from AI bots for somewhere in the ballpark of ~$150/month, this is DEFINITELY the business for you! *P.S. Any company requiring multiple steps for something as simple as canceling a service is NOT disability-friendly. I was a longtime EcoGen customer and absolutely loved their service. Unfortunately, since EcoGen was acquired by Las Vegas Pest Control, the quality of service has gone completely downhill. I DO NOT recommend this company. My most recent service was so poorly done that I ultimately canceled my account. I specifically requested exterior service only and asked that all of the traps in my garage be replaced. I was home during the entire service and personally observed the technician quickly spray one area of the backyard. The front of my house and another side of the property were not treated as requested. I also have a doorbell camera that never even went off, further confirming that the front entrance area was not serviced. On top of that, only two of the garage traps were replaced, while another trap near the entrance from the garage into my home was completely missed. What made the experience even worse was how management handled my complaint. I received a call from **Operations Manager Jacob Mikkelsen** regarding my concerns. Rather than simply acknowledging what I was reporting and arranging to have the incomplete service redone, he immediately became defensive of the technician, telling me that he knew the technician and that he had been in the industry for 20 years. That response was incredibly frustrating because the technician's years of experience had nothing to do with what occurred at my home. **I was home during the service and personally observed what was and was not done.** I wasn't asking management to debate me or defend their employee. I was asking them to correct a service that I paid for and that was not completed properly. After the conversation continued to focus on defending the technician rather than addressing my concerns, I told Jacob to cancel my service because at that point I no longer wanted another technician sent to my home. His response was simply an attitude-filled "all right." There was no apology, no attempt to resolve the situation, and seemingly no concern whatsoever that a longtime customer was canceling because of the quality of service and the way the complaint was handled. Since the acquisition, I have also noticed more bugs and scorpions in my garage, something I NEVER had an issue with when EcoGen was servicing my home. EcoGen used to be amazing--thorough, reliable, and a company I was genuinely happy to use. The difference since Las Vegas Pest Control took over has been incredibly disappointing. Poor service is one thing; having an operations manager become defensive and dismissive when a customer brings a legitimate concern to his attention is another. I was incredibly grateful for that fast response. Unfortunately, over the course of the year, I had repeated issues with technicians marking service calls as complete and charging me when no one actually showed up. I was out of town for three consecutive months, and my exterior cameras confirmed that no tech arrived during the billed visit times. I did report the issue to the company, and their customer service team was very nice and easy to communicate with. The treatment itself works great, and I know every company has its growing pains. They show up at your house even after I emailed them to reschedule, and the tech tells me their Florida location isnt letting them know, which sounds like a company problem, not mine! Now you call and are greeted by AI instead of a real person. I used to be able to email EcoGen no problem and they would get back to me right away and reschedule me. I just called to cancel today. Wish EcoGen would still be the ones providing the service but even the techs that come out are different so they obviously got rid of everyone from EcoGen even though they made it seem like they were just "renaming" the company. read more

They came out and set out the traps and told me if I found any dead rats to call them and they would remove them which you would expect. I called on a Saturday DURING business hours only to be told that they could not send someone out that I would have to wait until Monday. So I either had to deal with a dying poisoned rat in my hot tub or leave it there and wait unit Monday. So of course, I did it myself and called and cancelled. A month later they are still charging my card for services they did not provide. I initially paid 565 dollars for them to take care of this only for them to not do their job. I have now called at least 4 times and every time they tell me they take care of it and they are calling "billing" they have it in their system that I have cancelled yet they charge. They assured me that if I gave it a few weeks, they would go away. Here I am 5-6 weeks later and I am still having this issue. I switched over from Orkin ONLY because they went from 80 to 120 bi monthly. Their service was amazing. Once I switched over, I started having insects show up. Lots of spider webs in the front and back patio along with roaches etc. I called to let them know I had issues and that they also weren't spraying everything (saw on cameras). Issues continued. I am sadly so disappointed. I had a different company before that came to the house and was so good, and I'm presuming they somehow sold to this company. I just fired this company and canceled my service with them because they are simply not responsive. After coming to spray the yard, and I spoke to the guy spraying the yard about bringing a mosquito bucket, helping reduce mosquitoes in the area, and I was told he would get me two buckets, but he only brought one, which was completely ineffective, I ended up having an ant infestation two days later, out of nowhere, and as I tried to call them, nobody answered, and I tried to call three days in a row with no answer from anyone and no call back. This is completely unacceptable and they are expensive! They will charge you, without thought, $149 every two months to come spray and obviously don't do a great job, at least in my case. Went back to yelp and looked for a local company that isn't national, and so incredibly large that they forgotten about customers, while being all about money, which is the feeling I got with this company. The product worked well to rid mosquitos and my initial call with the owner was great! But I learned in time he is not actually accessible, just there to make the sale. From there you can expect billing issues and inconsistent scheduling. Their online payment system is flawed, even if you are "paid up" with a big thumbs up confirmation you may still receive a bill, regardless of if they have visited you or not, and you need to write a check since the online system is inaccurate. I was with AMBUSH PEST CONTROL for many years and loved their service. They were sold to LAS VEGAS PEST CONTROL and things went from bad to worse. The first change was our monthly service going from $24 a month to $46 a month. I wasn't happy about that, but I figured it was the first increase in many years. There was a problem with them NOT charging my credit card for several months and sending me a letter saying I owed for 4 months of service. When I asked "you have a valid credit card on file, why didn't YOU charge it?" Round and round - we finally got THAT problem solved. They send out a different person each month - AMBUSH sent the same person. Now I get a email saying they will be spraying every OTHER month because the chemicals they use are very good. HOWEVER, they're going to charge me $46 EVERY MONTH (even the months they won't be coming out) because "your property is being protected by our chemicals". BULLSH**. I just called and spoke with Karen a new minutes ago and told her to cancel my service immediately and I want it in WRITING. She asked if I would allow her to talk with management and see if anything could be done. I said I'll be looking forward to hearing from her TODAY (5/22/23). My neighbor uses the same company and she's also wanting to cancel service. I've asked my neighbors on NEXTDOOR who they use and I'm getting a lot of great tips on pest control services that are monthly and a lot less money. I'm not attacking the individuals who work for this company, but the management is awful. PS: I was just told they would be willing to come out EVERY MONTH, but there would be an increase in price. I haven't had any problems with Las Vegas Pest Control since they took over for Ambush but today is going to be the showstopper. At approximately 12:15 this afternoon I get a call from my neighbors who tell me that my dog was walking around the cul-de-sac outside their garage. Thankfully they let him in and took care of him till I got home from work. When I got home I pulled up cancers footage and found that the Las Vegas Pest Control Tech left my gate open to my backyard. Ten minutes after he left, my dog came wondering out. He was outside for nearly 45 minutes and I'm just glad that he's so old and Senior and doesn't have the energy or strength to walk much further away from my house. That still does not excuse it though. Had my dog been hit by a car or had he strayed further from the house and gotten lost I would be even angrier than I am now. There is a good chance that I will be finding a new provider soon. It's disappointing too because I use them for our business offices as well as my home. Had a rental property who previously was serviced by Red Rock Pest Control, Las Vegas Pest Control bought them, and ever since the quality dropped. They didn't go by previous contract and agreement with previous company, only to find out later from Tenant that the roach issue had not been fixed, they sprayed for 2 years and were ineffective, unlike when Red Rock Pest Control, they managed the situation. Had a local exterminator for over five years they sold their business to Las Vegas pet control. They came for three months then was notified that I was behind in my payment. Never received an introduction that they were my new company. Never called to ask for my information to make a payment. Never left an invoice for me to make a payment. It was through verbal communication of the man who was spraying my house that day that I had to pay first before he would do another service. I said who do I call to straighten this out. Made the payment up-to-date. Every month I get a text telling me I'm past due and an email your payment information is incorrect. Worst communication company ever. The last straw was when I got a balance due and that I was late, and the service had doubled without any indication that they were raising their price. They are not worth the aggravation for five minutes to spray my house. I canceled their service and still was receiving throughout the week that I was late balance due.
