I found this salon, thinking that being close to my home, it was going to be great, well.. down for huge disappointment, I took my boys there for their grooming, and got some horrific news a few weeks after picking up my dog then dropping off my mini golden doodle for his cut. I noticed my shippoo starting to itch really bad a couple weeks after his appoint, took him to his vet, to get the BAD NEWS THAT HE WAS INFECTED WITH LICE!! none of my dogs has "EVER" had fleas, ticks or this lice. when asked what has changed in their routine, I said the only thing that i changed was taking them to a different groomers. after spending a really decent cost at the vets, now they're on meds trying to get those things off their body, and his brothers has it too. so after spending $250 in meds for them finally started to see some relief.. SO NO I DONT NOR WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. hygiene and cleanliness is important to have in these places. read more

This is the first groomer for my puppy. She really needed the works after boarding and crazy shedding. I called right after they opened at 8am and they were able to fit me in at 830a since there were cancellations. Everybody was super nice that I had contact with. Florence (puppy) got a nice wash, ear cleaning, nail trimming and deshedding. She still had hair coming out but it's normal for a GSD. It took a little longer because it was Florence's first time grooming and she hated the blow dryer. I'm glad the groomer took the extra time to still get the job done. I came here because of a recommendation even it's far from where I live. I got an appointment the next day. That's fast! I brought my little Elvis (he needs to stop growing tho!) in and the place was busy. Guy at the front desk was knowledgeable and friendly. They called me when ready. It was the first time I brought him to a groomer as normally I cut his hair myself. I would have preferred the facial hair a lot shorter but I'll mention that the next time. He was super soft and fluffy. As it was the first time so they only do partial, it was only $35 which is a great price. They charge $8 for just having nails cut, wish it wasn't so far from me because that's better than everywhere else around me where they charge $15 or $20. read more

I heard about this salon from my co-worker, as I've always loved the grooming styles they've done on her two yorkies. I've been bringing my dog since late 2021, and can definitely say that she is much more comfortable here than she has ever been at other groomers. She is a Malshi (Maltese & shitzu mix), and she has some very curly hair. I appreciate that they cut as short as possible, per my request. However, I do wish my pup's tail and face were cut a little more proportionate to her body, as her hair grows so fast! We used to bring our dogs to this place, but this time will be our last visit. We were very disappointed with their service. They never get a consistent haircut to my dogs. Sometimes it was good, sometimes it was bad and this time it was terrible than we could imagine. My dog came home with an ear infection! My dog's ear is now very red and she can't stop shaking her head from the irritation. We paid a total of $60 plus $10 tips for her to be shaved and now we have to pay an additional medical fee for her infection ear. It was UNACCEPTABLE. This place was terrible. It looks like not only our dog, there were many more who also experienced the same, got INFECTION after a visit here. Please stay away or be aware! Your dog might be the next victim to encounter such things! We would never recommend this place nor coming back. Too bad, you lose another loyal customer! read more

This place has totally gone downhill. I was coming here for years, every six weeks. The last haircut, they made my dog look like a cat. First time I ever had an issue. Years ago it would take an hour to groom my dog. Then it become two hours as they claim they are short staffed. Today they said three hours so I questioned how that was possible. I have an 8 am appointment. To me, that means you begin grooming my dog at 8 am. She explained that they wash and blow dry all the dogs, THEN do the haircuts. What?? Why? It takes the same amount of time to groom the dog. Why this process where dogs have to be in cages longer than necessary and all it does is inconvenience the owners. I drive 7 miles to go there and today, I removed my dog and will go elsewhere. Plus they were so rude about it. It wasn't the owner who is tactical, but this other miserable woman who was nasty about the whole thing. There is zero logic to having an appointment, hoarding the dogs in cages, and doing things one process at a time. Bye one love!! read more

She's a very nervous and anxious dog with strangers so it was really nice to hear that she didn't give them too much of a fuss once I left her. Oh, man...where to start... I've had my cat for five years and this was her first time getting groomed. She's long-haired and was soooo matted! The women at the salon could not have been more kind and receptive when I dropped my girl, Downey, off to them. They understood that I was an over-protective cat parent lol. They said all the right things and genuinely acted like they cared about my little girl. 3 hours later, I was in the neighborhood and figured my girl would be almost done so I just dropped in and sat down. It was then that I saw Stephanie ("Steph") just putting the finishing touches on Downey. She was so loving and caring. Talking to Downey and giving her the utmost care. It's not often that you can tell when someone isn't "faking it". It truly seemed like Steph was really enjoying working with my cat and truly trying to make it a calming experience for Downey. We have been to One Love 3 times. First time was good, the second time, not as good and today was awful. We dropped our dog off at noon and they said 3 hours. We went to pick him up at 3:45 (because we had another appointment at 4:30) and they said he would be ready until 5pm! He was there almost 4 hours and they only bathed him. I paid for the bath, which they over charged ( I will get my money back next week) and brought him home. He spent 4hrs in a crate, barking the entire time. This is too stressful for him and us. My puppy needed to be groomed and decided to try One Love Pet Salon since I live close by. I was able to get an appointment right away. I told the person who checked me in how I wanted my maltipoo to be groomed. When I picked her up I didn't notice the horrific grooming that was done until we got home. I asked for a light trim all over. Her body was fine, but her face was a mess! The top,of her head was haphazardly cut like groomer wasn't sure how to cut her. She had a lot of uneven cuts on top of her head. One ear was cut shorter than the other--left ear was tapered and the right ear was left with a straight cut. She looks lopsided! So very disappointed. We come here for one purpose an purpose only-- to get our dog's nails trimmed. I'd do it myself but for whatever reason, I always hit her quick and freak out that I'll be the cause for an infection. Going through the neighborhood ValPak one day we saw that there was a place nearby that had a coupon for a FREE nail trim. Wait, FREE?! At our vet they charge us $12 to dremel her nails! At One love they charge $5 regardless and you can use the coupon regardless if it's your first time or not! The staff is great and they're very friendly and genuinely like what they do. Unfortunately we'll probably never know what it's like to get her groomed here bc we've got a Miniature Pinscher so we bathe her and she dries in 10 mins and the only hair problem we have is her all year round shedding that we can't do anything about. Very disappointed. We took my dog there and came back with a HORRIBLE cut. The lady that cut her hair was Marylin. She did the opposite of what we asked for. She cut my dogs ear hair and tail hair which we said to not want. Very disappointed in this place. I would not recommend going to it. After I horrific experience at the petsmart down the street we decided to try One Love. The location is close by our neighborhood which is easy to get to. Every time we come in they remember our Leilah and take great care of her. I like the open front cages where you can see where your pet stays while they wait for pick up. I do suggest making an appointment or if you don't have time, arrive early in the morning so they can squeeze you in. My dog is half poodle so tends to mat pretty easily. Even though she can have some difficult fur, they always do a great job getting her cleaned up! Leilah once had an accident where we needed a dingleberry (I KNOW!)remover asap, even though I called and they were all booked, I was able to get her in and they fixed our problem within minutes and ease. We took our dogs to the location on Green Valley but I know it's a sister store so I'll leave my review here! Nate was awesome with our two Mini Aussies. One of our dogs is blind and he took a lot of special care with her- talking to her to make sure she wasn't scared, going slowly, etc. We were so happy with how girls were groomed I brought my parent's German Shepherd in today. I just cannot say enough good things about the quality of their work and customer service. I'm so happy to have found One Love and will be bringing my dogs in every month.
