We're still not done coming into Las Vegas Urology and I usually like to review after we're finished (if it's a specialty treatment we know we aren't coming back for) but we only have some testing and a phone appointment left (that we know of), so my first review of 2025 is going to be for Las Vegas Urology. Phone answering is not exactly a 5 star experience here but for the most part it was fairly easy to get in touch with this office. If they do not call you back when they say they will, just call them back. That's what we did. The location on Corporate Circle is easy to get too and there are plenty of parking spaces outside of the office. The office itself is nicely organized, with plenty of seating and spaced for you if you happen to be in a wheelchair. I like the decorations and everyone that we have come into contact with was nice and friendly. We've never had to wait very long to be brought to the back for our appointments. Actually, when we've shown up early, we were taken back early as well. I think that they are really good with timing here and I appreciate that. Dr. Grudzinski and his nurses are awesome. We really liked his bed side manner and how he made sure we understood every aspect of the procedure/surgery. He (and his nurses) were extremely professional and seem to care a lot about their patients. I really appreciated being spoken to like a human and being given all the information without any judgment when I asked a question. The care this team provides is amazing and if we ever have to come back, I'm glad we will be in good hands again. Also, no scar! Thank you Dr. Grudzinski! read more

I was a patient at this office for years, so I was extremely disappointed by how I was treated. I requested a doctor's note for work and was told Heather would take care of it. Unfortunately, after nearly two months of waiting and repeated phone tag, the letter still had not been handled. I finally had to go to the office in person just to get something I had been requesting for weeks. While I was there, I specifically asked to speak with Heather, but the office manager never had her come up to speak with me. Instead, I was told there had been a lack of communication with the doctor. After waiting two months and having to advocate for myself in person, I received the work letter the following day. What was most upsetting was that I then received a letter releasing me as a patient. After being a loyal patient for years, I found the timing and the way this situation was handled extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I understand that offices get busy and miscommunication happens, but patients should not have to spend two months repeatedly following up for an important work document, only to be dismissed from the practice after expressing concerns about how their request was handled. This experience completely changed my opinion of this office. read more

This place is a joke, don't waste your time...happy to see you and bill your insurance but other than that they wont send persciption to pharmacy, you cannot reach anyone by phone, they dont call you back, drove all the way back to be told they will handle it and call to confirm that day....2 weeks later nothing. read more

Worst place ever!!!!! Had my first appointment with Dr. Zapinsky, he was very nice and even personally called me back to remind of something. Other than that this place is terrible. My medication was sent to Walgreens but insurance needed more approval. When I tried to call the office no one would answer their phone, I left messages, no one would call back. I tried calling every day for a week no answer, left messages no call backs. I finally went in and talked to one of the receptionist (Yesenia) and she told me that she would send a message to the doctor's staff to get the medication approved and call her back if there were any other issues. A week later nothing happened. I tried calling her back again the next few days same thing, no answer left her a messages and no call back. I tried the appointment line they said they couldn't help me but could transfer me to Yesenia. She didn't answer my calls nor called me back again. Then again I tried calling the doctor's medical staff again no answer, I left messages no call backs. After 3 weeks I gave up and canceled my next appointment, I will never give this company another dime! I've never this much problems with any medical office like I had with this place! If I could give this place a negative star I would but unfortunately it'll the lowest is one star! Worst place ever!!! read more

UPDATE 5/11/24: Time for an update on my review for Las Vegas Urology for some key reasons - they moved this practice from Pecos to Corporate Center (off Green Valley Pkwy) and Dr. Larsen is no longer working here, as he retired in August 2022. In August 2023, I was admitted to the ER at St. Rose Siena for a kidney infection and had to go to Las Vegas Urology for a follow up on my ER visit. Originally I was supposed to be seen on 10/19/23, but Dr. Grudzinski could not see me that day and their receptionists told me that I had to call them back to reschedule. Unfortunately, due to my busy college schedule, I never got around to calling them back until around March, when they told me that I couldn't be seen until as early as 5/8/24 at 1:10pm. I ended up accepting this time slot. I was told I had to arrive at least 30 minutes before my appointment to fill out paperwork, as I haven't been seen in almost two years and I've gotten new insurance since my last visit. I arrived 30 minutes early only to fill out minor paperwork that took me like two minutes to complete and was not given any other personal/insurance info paperwork, so I ended up waiting an extra 25 minutes in the waiting room to be called back, which was a little unnecessary. The waiting room was busy but I was eventually called back earlier than I expected. When I saw Dr. Grudzinski, I explained to him why I was admitted to the ER and he asked me if I had an ultrasound of any kind. I told him no, just a CAT scan, and he gave me a referral to Steinberg Diagnostics, where I would get an ultrasound of my kidneys. Afterwards, Dr. Grudzinski also prescribed me an antibiotic to take in case I experienced any early UTI symptoms, with five refills available up until the next year. I'm really impressed with this practice overall and Dr. Grudzinski is a great doctor, but I am going out of the country next week and my follow-up with him is scheduled for 6/14/24 at 1:30pm, so I need to be seen at Steinberg as soon as possible. Unfortunately, when I called Steinberg to schedule an appointment with them, I was told that there was no doctor's signature on the referral and they had to send it back to the urologist. Another main problem is that Las Vegas Urology's receptionists take forever to answer their phones and I'm stuck on hold for at least 15 minutes. read more

I had a follow-up appointment for a kidney stone with Dr. Casey McCraw. He was excellent, very professional, and I felt he gave me great care. My issue was with the front office staff and their policy. Before being seen, I was told I had to sign a mandatory arbitration agreement. The page I was given referenced an "attached contract," but no contract was provided. When I pointed this out, the front desk dismissed my concern and told me it was "sign it or go somewhere else." One staff member even told me to take my business to Urology Specialists of Nevada instead. I want to emphasize that my doctor was great, but I strongly disagree with being forced to sign away legal rights without being given the actual contract. Patients deserve transparency and respect, especially when dealing with sensitive medical issues. read more

Due to the Urologist I had been going to for 6 years for cancer not taking my insurance anymore, I was referred to Las Vegas Urology and Dr Russon. What a breath of fresh air. All the staff I came into contact were friendly and very helpful. Dr Russon was beyond kind, understanding and patient. He wasn't rushed, taking the time to really listen to me, offering sound, good advice. Dr Russon took the time to make sure I was comfortable during the procedure. The Assistant was kind and also made sure I was doing ok during every step of my visit. I truly appreciate medical providers like this group read more

So far not a fan. Currently been on hold for 1 hour and 19 minutes to schedule an appointment with the Henderson office. This was AFTER I was already on hold for 1 hour and 27 minutes only to hear them pick up the phone and immediately hang it back up. They tell you on the never ending recording that you can go online and schedule. Nope! Not unless you are an existing patient. Oh lookie there, they picked the phone up and hung it up again. My doctor, McCraw cancelled on me so I called the office to reschedule. Whoever I spoke to in the scheduling dept hung up on me mid sentence. I am so close to start looking for a new urologist with a different company. Those at the appointment dept needs to be trained BETTER! I wish I got her name. read more

The front desk staff member was very short and lacked customer service skills. The Doctor Grudzinski was quick to point out the cancer risk with my prostate, after not doing any meaningful tests. He told me I should take extra medication, even after I told him about my hypertension issues. I personally believe that treating my prostate as cancerous would benefit this doctor financially..... read more

In December 2025 Dr. Gorbachinsky told my husband that medication to treat his enlarged prostate was no long effective, and he needed to have a Cystocopy with transurethral resection. This was performed by him in early February 2026. We were told that this was a simple procedure with a recovery time of 2-4 weeks. It soon became apparent, that this was not the case. He now had uncontrollable urine and was forced to wear diapers at all times. Despite multiple attempts and messages left for Dr. Gorbachinsky and his assistants to seek help, they were all ignored. We then left another message to Chris, a patient advocate to see if he could help us; again, no response. We have never experienced such a poorly run office, ever. It was obvious to us that they knew the surgery did not go correctly, and they simply washed they're hands of us. As retired seniors we were enjoying traveling and staying active; but no longer. We have now been basically housebound for almost 4 months. We have never in all our years of seeing physicians been treated in such an appalling matter. The office is seriously mismanaged, and patients are treated like cattle. Despite this mismanagement, they were able to process our insurance payment without complication. Interesting, how that works. We are now seeking a more ethical doctor and only hope that the damage that has been done to my husband is not irreversible. Hopefully this message helps another patient from making such a drastic mistake. If you value, you're quality of life, do you're due diligence and really research your choice of physicians to avoid an outcome such as ours. read more

Just like the old smoke ranch office, they don't care about the patient. I walked in the office and asked if my new insurance was accepted there. They said yes my doctor wasn't available. They said oh you can just see another doctor. I said OK made an appointment went to go see the other doctor. He said I had to start over cause I'm a new patient after I payed my $134 co-pay. If they would've told me that to begin with, I would've waited for my old doctor so when I asked, do I have to pay my pay again they said yes, but it was their mistake. Then I find out I can see my old doctor in one more week. If I would've known that, I would've waited a week now they want me to pay the 134 again I'm just gonna go see a different urologist. Just like the old smoke ranch office all they care about is money every time I went through they just wanted a new test new test new test for nothing at all. read more

My husband has had kidney stones for over 4 years with pain and she had the nerve to tell him to "drink lemon juice to disolve them?!" They have appointments available because they are incompetent. They keep on making blatant excuses, even though I know it's false. They said that they didn't have the lab results but yet they did have the lab results and I had to go print them myself and bring them in person just show them. Dr Zapinsky has been wonderful and compassionate to my husband and me as well. The office staff is very busy doing their jobs. This location at corporate circle is pleasant to go to. Extra shout out to Karen, Dr. Zapinsky's nurse. We have had some inconveniences with medication for my husband, but Karen is so pleasant and capable that she gets everything taken care of with no problem. Recommend this office. read more

They wont give a reason but i can imagine their rude staff probably lied and said bad behavior. So they can BLACKLIST YOU over he said she said. No proof!!! This staff here are incompetent bordering on illiterate. I had a yearly followup last October and I was told that my order for the x-ray was not put in and it would not be ready in time for my appointment. So I had to reschedule for January, yes there was nothing earlier. January comes and now they call me just 3 days before my appointment and tell me that my referral is not valid anymore. So I immediately call my primary and ask for a referral. 2 days later I hear nothing so I call Urology and tell them that I still don't have the referral and ask if they can request it so it will be expedited. They say no and tell me to go to the office and get it in hand. So I do that and get the referral to bring with me. Only thing left is my x-ray. Las Vegas Urology ordered my x-ray at Steinberg diagnostic, so I call Steinberg to get an x-ray same day. They tell me that my insurance does not cover x-rays at Steinberg. I call Urology back and tell them what Steinberg said and they said, yes, you have an HMO and cannot go to Steinberg. I was livid at this point and told them that they needed to check this before they ordered the x-ray at Steinberg. Apparently, I have to go to another facility and try to do a walk-in x-ray there. It was already too late by now for me to this since my appointment was the next day. She transfers me to scheduling. I wait on hold for 20 minutes and they told me the next appointment is in March. They messed up and would not accommodate me at all. Mind you, my appointment was originally in October, each reschedule pushes it back 2 months and they will not get me in any sooner. I'm driving all around town because they are not organized and doing their job for them and they would not help me with an earlier appointment. My doctor is Dr. Zapinsky who just hides behind his incompetent front staff and does not help at all. The negligent staff protects this negligent doctor. The patients here are treated like and herded like cattle, nothing more. read more

My husband has prostate and UTI issues. Been to ER for some care for this. First of all Dr Wise didn't explain much very he was brusque, short, dismissive. His PA Autumn was way better on a second appt. We had third appt we walk in a after a week of rescheduling both our work schedules to be there we are told sorry dr and Asst is not in. Didn't anyone call you to reschedule. No! Sorry I've worked offices all my life and for a place that takes care of something major should not be so u professional. I had a telemedicine appointment this morning at 8:55 with Dr. Guillermo Patino at Las Vegas Urology. I recently spent 3 weeks in the hospital with COVID-19, and I'm still on 24/7 oxygen. Dr. Patino left me waiting 2 hours and 10 minutes before his Assistant asked me to reschedule because he was running behind. I had called them at 10:00, and was told 2 people were in front of me, which obviously was a lie. I don't know if he didn't make it into the office this morning for some reason, or what was going on, but they clearly weren't being honest with me and had no respect for my time. I've let them know that there's no way I would reschedule with a Physician who treats his patients this way. I wanted to make sure everyone knew about, and avoided Dr. Patino and Las Vegas Urology. read more

If you or your loved ones care about your well being, do not come to this office or doctor/s. My father has been a patient here after a complicated back surgery and weeks in the hospital and this office has been the biggest nightmare of this entire process. We have to call multiple times to get prescriptions sent over, there is no sense of urgency when it comes to the patients, you will never be seen at your appointment time, and the doctors are condescending and impatient. This has been the single worst doctor's office I have ever dealt with. read more

This office is utterly incompetent. I was turned away when I had a scheduled appointment. One that I waited a month and a half for. Their office called and texted me multiple times to remind me. What they didn't do was verify that a referral was on file, which my insurance requires. I gave them my information before they would even schedule the appointment. Yet and still when I arrived, they waited until I spent 20 minutes filling out new patient paperwork before letting me know there was a problem. I suggested that I could contact my doctors office, but they insisted they didn't have access to "the portal" so I'd have to reschedule regardless. Tough luck, pal. I've gone to plenty of doctors appointments and I've never had to retain a physical document that I then need to present to the office. The "oops oh well" response to this situation was enough to convince me I do not want to use this office for my medical care. I'm disabled, so getting to an appointment is a whole ordeal that requires planning and organizing rides, so to have my time so carelessly wasted is just unacceptable. They could've offered to follow up and resolve what was clearly an inter office lapse in communication, but they didn't. It's not as if I just showed up to this place randomly, my doctor sent me there and then I scheduled an appointment. What exactly is the office staff up to in this place? I'm not sure exactly, but it doesn't give me confidence that the medical side is run any better. read more

Run from this provider! They have very deceptive practices and require an avalanche of forms to be filled out in advance. One of them requires you to waive your legal rights by agreeing to arbitration in case anything goes wrong. Even though the form says you can choose to sign it, they actually require you to sign before you can see a doctor or PA. The office manager told me they can't get insurance without patients agreeing to arbitration in advance. That is a red flag! Any two parties can agree to settle a dispute using arbitration. It does not have to happen in advance and in fact agreeing to such a requirement is foolish. I walked out of the office and will seek a physician with more integrity. read more

I was referred here by WHASN. I got there half an hour before my appt, at LV Urology's instruction. Here's what I found: Ambiguous signage at front desk that tells people to (a) sign in and sit down and (b) stand in line until you're called. Waiting room is pretty full -- just about every other seat is filled. I sign in and sit down, and as I watch over the next 30 minutes, more than a dozen people come in and stand in front of the sign, not sure what to do. The goes almost to the door. No one at the front desk offers any guidance. As I'm sitting there, I notice I haven't yet heard one patient's name called. So this waiting room is getting very crowded very fast. 30 mins after I take a seat, someone from the front desk calls my name and gives me a large sheaf of documents to fill out and sign. I write them as fast as I can and turn them in, w my ID and insurance card, about 20 mins later. It's been a long time since a medical practice has not given me the option to fill out paperwork online. An hour and ten minutes in, a lady at the front calls my name and gives me back my ID and insurance card and some paperwork marked "scanned." Tells me I'm checked in now, and to wait to be called back to see the doc. I wait and, as I wait, I realize that the waiting room seems to be thinning out now as more and more people get called back. One man is called, but when he gets to the door to go back, finds that someone else has been brought back instead of him in a case of mistaken identity. He gets upset and tries to tell the front desk staff, but they don't understand at first -- and then it turns into a massive puzzle as to who's actually in back w which doctor. Turns out they shared the same first name. In the staff team's defense, they seem to resolve the issue to the man's satisfaction, but it takes a good 10 mins, and there have been a lot of frustrating "who's on first" moments. 90 mins in, I get up to speak to the front desk staff and ask them when it would be okay for me to go home and try to reschedule w/out a charge, as I don't wish to invest much more time in getting seen and would like to go home. The same lady who checked me in looks me up her computer and says, did you get a call this morning? I said no. (Have checked my phone since then and can verify -- no call that morning from their office.). Your doc called in sick this morning, and your appt needs to be canceled. Okay, I said. So you were not supposed to check me in this morning? She said, no. Then another staff person walks up to me and this individual and repeats the fact that my doc is out sick. She tells it to me like I'm a small child and need to be scolded. I thought it was odd that neither did not offer an apology, so I asked them very quietly, "Did you make a mistake?" She said no, your doctor is sick and you were supposed to get a call to reschedule. "So did you make a mistake?" I asked again in the same quiet tone. "Yes," she said, "but it's been busy." Then she proceeded to ask me if I would like to make an appt for tomorrow. I told her, why don't you just let me call you if I want an appt w your practice? As I left, I told the first staffperson that I do not want to see a bill for this appt, so pls make sure I'm not charged for this visit. She said we will refund you the $35 copay. Good news, you would say -- but they had not yet asked for a copay, and I had not yet paid them one. My impression is that this is not a well-run office. Lots of mistakes, some potentially serious. Not all of it is the staff team's fault -- they seem to be trying hard, but are overwhelmed to the point of indifference and even consternation. It looks as if the ownership of this practice is wanting it to be a high-volume practice -- but the process, staff team and training, etc. (or even the space in the waiting room) is just not there. I will not entrust my healthcare to this team. read more

I had an appointment at 2:30 I got there exactly 2:30 sharp, so the black lady tells me that I need to fill out the paperwork and that I'm supposed to arrive 30 minutes prior to the appointment to fill out paperwork, I told her nobody told me about arriving 30 minutes prior, she said I would have to wait until 4 pm to see the doctor, I said I'm not waiting, you told me to be here 2:30 and I came on time, so they rescheduled me, I ended up cancelling, im never coming here again!! read more

When I arrived for my appointment I was rudely treated when I arrived for my appointment. It was my first appointment and was to be treated for my cancer. I asked who the Doctor was that will be treating me. The woman said she didn't know and for me to sit and I would be called. Long after my appointment time I was called and went to a room. After waiting a long time a man came in and I said are you my doctor and he said no. He went on to say he was the one to handle my case. He never told me if he was a doctor or a nurse. He only said I'm not a doctor but I will be seeing you and no doctor will be seeing you. I said I'm here for my cancer medication doctor appointment to explain the cancer medication. He said he will tell me. I asked if there was a doctor assigned to my case and he said yes but he's too busy to see you. After more waiting another nurse came in and injected the cancer medicine and she really hurt me while administering the medicine. I left in pain and was never seen by a doctor. I was to stop at the front desk to schedule a future appointment and was told someone would call me to set the appointment. They went on to say I would need to have a blood test before my next appointment. I asked if they would order the blood test and they said yes. Well, now more than 2 months later and no call from them to schedule the appointment (every 90 days the cancer medicine is administered). I tried to call and was on hold for more than hour when I gave up. I'm really upset. read more

This place is useless. No wonder they have terrible reviews. The front office staff are completely rude and unhelpful. The doctor did nothing for me and my condition and offered me no relief. I left in tears. I believe it is because they don't know enough about Interstitial Cystitis and more about Men's health. Then he started me on a medication that I took for years prior, and won't refill it until I pay another office visit just to walk in and tell him I want a refill. They denied my refill when I absolutely physically cannot get in there for a few weeks because of the industry I work in. I have never dealt with this before, especially when it comes to a regular medication. So I guess I will just have to get off of it somehow. If you are looking for a doctor that will take care of you, STAY AWAY from this place. I will find a new doctor today. I guess it's a blessing in disguise. read more

One star is too much. If I could give zero, that would be appropriate. I came into the office with my husband who was scheduling a vasectomy. This was an introductory visit, and was solely just to make have questions answered and to get information. Upon walking in, we stood at the reception desk for a good 40 seconds before the girl behind the window said anything. And when she did, she very RUDELY and sarcastically said, "Yes". So my husband said, "Yes, this is my first visit, but I have an appointment at 8:30." Which, he did make a mistake- his appointment was at 9. No big deal- he had paperwork to fill out anyway. However, she said, "No. your appointment is at 9. But, here." And shoves a clipboard into his hands with no further direction. We both sit down so he can fill out paperwork, and about 3 minutes later- the lights in the lobby shut off. It is NOTICEABLY obvious this happened, but she continues to act like nothing happened, and does nothing to turn the lights back on. Meanwhile, my husband is still completing his clipboard of paper, another older gentleman walks into the lobby. He had the same issue with the lady behind the desk, too. No greeting- except he was standing there longer. Then she finally says, "Can I help you?". He says "Habla español." And she continues to try talking to him, in English- TWICE. Then, another lady behind the desk steps in and begins speaking Spanish- which also sounded very rude. She shoves another clipboard in his hand; later to find out- it was in English. He went up there to ask for the paperwork in Spanish, and she aggressively took the clipboard back, and said "it's fine." Again, leaving him in question- because he doesn't speak English. After a few minutes, my husband finished his paperwork, and walked up to the window to give it back. All she did was take it, and continued to look down and pretend to look busy. A couple minutes after that, a different nurse comes out to where the other girls are- and says my husbands name, and gestures for him to come up to the window. She proceeds to tell him, in front of everyone else in the lobby- that his VASECTOMY isn't covered by his insurance, and he would have to pay cash. What happened to patient confidentiality? What if we were aware that we would have to pay cash, but still wanted to get the procedure done? Upon walking out, a said "You guys need to work on your customer service." And it was answered with a sarcastic "Thank you. Have a good dayyyyyy." I'm glad that this location didn't work out for my husband. And I feel bad for any others who have to walk into this pathetic space of an office and get treated similarly. It amazes me how people apply to work in some sort of customer service, get HIRED, and treat people so poorly. But I guess some people can easily fake a funk for a few minutes if it means they can work in a air conditioned building all day. Horrible, horrible customer service. Do yourself a huge favor- and find a different practice! read more

I was told that my insurance was accepted, and that I'm good to go. I came in for my appointment, only to be told that my insurance is not accepted at Las Vegas Urology. Worse Urology office ever!! the PAC quit for incompetence not ordering tests the md apparently instructed him to do so! the the other md ordered the test but never reviewed or contacted me with the results! All this is ongoing for 6+ months all I get from the office is, " well you have Medicare HMO". so they are fee for service and apparently resent not earning more then they do! If you value your health and well being please don't risk it go to a caring and competent service! read more
