Lasater's Coffee is probably the best I've tried in Clarksville so far. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was absolutely delicious! There are lots of comfortable places to sit inside and would be a great, cozy place to stay and catch up with a friend or get some work done. I got one coffee before work in the morning and boy did I find a gem. Although the drive through situation is a bit odd. (The drive through is in the back of a line of shops) the coffee was delish! And the people I talk to place my order are always so nice. The price is about the same as Starbucks. About 6-7 bucks for a coffee. But they have really good options and have some tea options too! Their bagels are pretty good. inside the place is nice, just a normal/casual place. 10/10 read more

Every time we go there is always something they are out of, and they always have a different closing time every time we go. This place is right next to a Publix and they still run out of everything all the time. As good as it is there's 1/10 times you can actually get something you want. read more

We stopped by with the intent to make a quick stop. We did end up getting our coffee rather quickly. But our paninis did come out after a 35 minute wait. We were disappointed when we drove off to find that the sandwich was missing several toppings, especially considering our wait. They didn't seem very busy, but did seem to be going over some training. Hopefully once everyone is trained up, service will be a little quicker. Our lattes were very tasty, and the sandwich was still very good. I would love to come by again, as the service was very friendly and it was very cozy inside. read more

USE to be our favorite place for coffee. But after today we will NEVER go back. I get it they're short staffed. The whole world is short staffed. But still NO reason to have to sit at the window 20 minutes and wait for your order. And THEN for it to be wrong. It was 2 drinks, no food ordered, just drinks. It's like they take you money and after they get your money they make you wait. So.....like I said we waited 20 minutes for our drinks. Not only was the time long but the drinks were wrong. The boy said he could remake the drink but, like my husband told him I think we waited long enough. Also the drinks were supposed to be made with almond milk and they weren't. I'm allergic to whole milk, so mine got thrown out. My husband he's allergic to chocolate and his had to be thrown out. So there was $16 thrown out. Not that it's a lot of money. That's not the point. The point is how long you have to wait and the order being wrong. I only wish I could give a negative star on this place. read more

Located in a nice and quiet shopping center and at the end of the building. They have outdoor seating, drive through, and spacious in store seating, work spaces, and booths as well. They even have an indoor fire place, how quaint. They have coffee to purchase as well as the usual coffee place fare of cups, tumblers, etc. The employees are friendly and efficient. Discounts are available for first responders and active duty military. The kitchen and prep area are super clean and that's a big plus for me. Great job today team. It seems every time I go into this lasaters it takes an absorbent amount of time for a single coffee. Today was the last straw. I would genuinely like to speak to the owner of this location to see what the process should look like. Surely it's not leaving your customer to stand there to watch the drink they just ordered sit idle on the counter for 15 minutes. While I sat there listening to the employees discuss what their new tattoo should be and another sitting on their phone. Only to get the excuse that their VERY BUSY. Additionally they had no idea what drink went to who. I had to finally step up and say can I have my drink when the one employee asked another whose drink it was. *Shrug , I don't know*. Slow drive through, which wouldn't have been a big deal if their coffee had any good flavor. It tasted very watered down and the caramel flavoring tasted off. We got both an iced and a hot coffee and we both agreed they were lacking in flavor. Croissants are pretty nasty so Starbucks is a much better option, or maybe even the Publix bakery! read more

I enjoy studying here, most of the time. It's definitely the coziest of all local coffee shop options, and the staff are super friendly. It gets a little crowded around 3pm on weekdays and in the afternoons on Saturday. There is a super annoying group of teenagers who come in pretty regularly who talk excessively loud, and the occasional tool who still thinks it's acceptable to have an entire phone conversation on speaker phone in a public place...but when they aren't there, it's a cool spot. read more

I looove lasaters and I go there often. I try to avoid the exit 11 location. They have poor service and don't really care about your time. My order literally sat at the window for a minutes. No one came to the window, I kept looking back to see if there were any cars behind me and they were none. After getting my order , My order was incorrect . It's sad to the establishment that I didn't want to go back. I don't thing any customer should leave a business never wanting to go back. Specifically if they didn't get their order right. Can we please do better ? I'm a loyal lasaters customer and love going to the other locations. Seems like they got their stuff together much better. I don't want a refund , I don't want to get anything free. All I want it to have a good experience like I do at every other lasaters I go to. I know this was a little negative feedback. I am traveling through Tennessee on a road trip back home to the Pacific Northwest, Seattle, where Starbucks was invented, and stopped in at Lasaters. Nice local coffee joint. Doesn't taste burnt like Starbucks, and it's cheaper too. The service is always good, and I've never had a bad cup of coffee here. They do a good job with americanos (espresso + water), lattes, and iced drinks. Their pastries are just so-so. They seem mass produced and not locally baked. This location is carpeted, so it's a little quieter than the one on Wilma Rudolph. Dec 2017- of late, their coffee doesn't taste quite as good as it used to. Not sure what's going on. read more

I love Lasaters normally!! This location is my least favorite. Something about it struck me as odd when I first arrived. They didn't have a lot of pastries in the case, the staff wasn't as friendly as other locations, and I was unimpressed with my drinks. The thing that irritated me the most was how my coffee was only filled 2/3 of the way up. When you charge $5 for a cup of probably $1 coffee you should completely fill the cup. Some time ago, I reviewed a Lasater's in a different part of town, and I was pleased by the coffee, but disappointed by the people behind the counter. Lasater's, for the record, seems like a great business, and exactly the kind of thing I could get behind. They roast their own coffee in the Clarksville area, they seems to have their heads on straight, they support the troops (which is a bonus for me, an old army brat), their locations are clean, bright, and comfortable, and they really seem to like coffee, so it really felt like my kind of company. So I decided to give a different location a shot. And I am glad I did. I've been on an Americano kick, and Lasaters's baristas did a great job making this excellent cup of coffee. Now, maybe I didn't strike the right cord with them, and they were clearly busy, but I would have loved to hear more about the company from them, but I'll let that slide, because they made my iced coffee fast, at a reasonable price, and made a great drink. Nashville is getting more and more coffee shops as time goes by, and I tend to fear that we're going to hit critical mass sooner rather than later, but I hope Lasater's is established somewhere near where I live before that happens. Good wifi and coffee for the money. Mega-blasting, Christian rock is just as annoying as the mega-blasting hipster rock at Starbucks though. Have been there 4 times to work in studies and had to ask all four time for them to turn it down. :( -1 star To be constantly prostheletized by two DIFFERENT Southern Baptist Bible study-groups (apparently 99% of the clientele,) when you are a Christian yourself) can get annoying. I like this location because it's quiet and has booths for studying or working. I don't love the almond or coconut milk that they use and it often tastes a little burnt in the hot drinks. The iced coffees are better, in my opinion. They have a decent food selection. I haven't tried their lunches but it looks like they have some healthy options. I love Lasaters! The hot chocolate is my favorite and I enjoy sitting there and relaxing.

This is the only place I get coffee and food. It tastes better, less expensive than Starbucks, and the people are nicer. I'm a regular at the riverside location but have been to the other locations as well. They have the same variety of menu items and local. The only cons are that they aren't open on Sunday and early am. Mild inconvenience, but not enough to take a star away. read more
