I stopped by here on my way out of town, wanting something local to wake me up. It's in a strip mall near some medical buildings. It's just a couple doors down from a donut shop if you're looking for something particularly sweet after your coffee. Well staffed, quick service. I had a breakfast bagel sandwich, eggs/sausage/pepperjack and their version of a gingerbread latte. Very fresh bagel, the sandwich was better than you'd get from most chain coffee places. I will say, the one thing that could make that even better would be if their was an extra topping/sauce/spice option on the sandwich. But even as is, it is one of the better bagel sandwiches that I've gotten at a coffee shop. Oh, and the coffee was great as well. Will have to return the next time I'm in town! read more

I went to Mugsy's for the first time on Dunlop Lane in Clarksville. It was very clean and all three of the girls working were super nice and polite. I only grabbed a sandwich to-go, so even though my wait time to order was about 7-8 minutes, the sandwich came relatively quickly. Things I liked about the local shop: Again, the girls were so nice that I would go back just because of that. The area was clean and smelled perfectly like a coffee shop that I would love to bring a book to and just plop down and read for a bit. They had a separate small conference area where you can request time to hold a small meeting. This is perfect for any small business owners! Things I didn't love: I got a bagel sandwich and they didn't toast the bagel. I'm not sure if you need to request for that sort of magick to happen? It wasn't asked of me, so as a first timer I don't know if I would have been such a rebel to go on and ask myself. I kind of thought that goes without saying? Asiago bagels [in my humble opinion] taste so much better when the cheese is crisped from toasting. Also, everything else on the sandwich was hot- the bacon, egg and cheese...so the not-toasted-bagel-deliciousness made the rest of the sandwich cold. Bacon. There was almost no bacon on the sandwich. Now, hear me out. I like bacon but I don't LOVE bacon, I can live without it. But for my $7 sandwich...yah girl wants the bacon!! At best I would say there was a slice and a half. I do think the sandwich was a bit pricey, but had my bagel been toasted, [yup, this apparently really irked me ] it would have been worth the money. I would definitely go back and try another sandwich and a coffee. For the first time, the only thing lacking was the final product of my bagel breakfast. Clean and comfortable atmosphere. I have tried just about everything and the menu is fairly diverse. I prefer coffee but I would recommend their lotus energy drinks if that is your type of thing. A bit on the sweeter side and fizzy. The coffee here is great, and I use their bagged beans as gifts often. I recommend the Rocky Road Iced Coffee. All good feedback thus far. Their coffee seems like it comes from nice clean water, I notice a difference than other places around town. Not sure why specifically, but there has been notable differences. The food items are all fairly good. They offer a variety with grab and go snacks. I got a warm wrap and it was much better than I had expected. Not as good as making one at home or going to a food-focused joint but it was still good and I continue to order them. Larger than I had expected too. Muffins are a great size. Golly G's has some good ones but they are huge so I end up wanting to cut them up. Their other pasteries are good, and the cinnamon roll is wonderful heated up at home. Service is friendly and I have never had any issues. They have even brought my coffee to where I was seated before. Helpful staff and notably, they are not afraid to make recommendations. I often order whatever they recommend and many places have trouble giving recommendations. They know their menu and can give recommendations based off your preferences. They have books, high tables, normal seating, and I believe they have a couple of sofas or small chairs. There is a table outside, clean bathroom, and a drive-thru window. I am very happy with the food and coffee here. They taste very good and price is competitive. The staff is very friendly as well. Reasons I don't give a 5 star rating would be: the speed of service is kind of slow. It's definitely not because they aren't working hard. I think logistically they've set themself up for failure. The drive through is 1 window. So you order, pay and pick up in the same spot. So if you get behind someone who orders a ton of stuff and blended stuff, it can take a while for them. Unlike other places, your coffee can be done and ready to go by the time you make it to the window. Also, the food is fresh made which is amazing. So expect to wait longer if you order food. I called before we came to make sure they had something more than coffee. They have breakfast sandwiches on bagels or croissants. They have 6 different muffins, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and scones. Of course lots of coffee options. My kiddos each got a muffin and devoured it. My MIL got a breakfast bowl with potatoes. I got a ham, egg and cheese on a croissant. everything was fresh and delicious! No complaints for us. The real reason I wanted to write a review was because the customer service was outstanding. In todays day, it seems like the normal is to be ignored or dismissed by anyone in the public space. All 3 employees that were present were friendly and smiling! Eager to help and offer suggestions. Overall good experience. Nice to support small business. They have Wi-Fi and was a good spot to stop and work on my laptop. Not great for meetings as it seems everyone orders drinks that needs to be blended. Also not great if you don't like Jesus music. Though I am a mega gay I didn't feel overwhelmingly judged. I read that they roast their own beans and I was curious, so I went to this location for a quick breakfast and coffee drink. The flavored coffee turned me off big time. Also, most if not all the coffee was roasted the medium or bold\dark body. When I asked the cashier\barista what was in the espresso blend, she said she didn't know. When I asked her why, she said that the owners don't tell them because its a secret. Uh, what? So your customers don't know what they're drinking? They don't know what origins the coffee beans came from or the portions of green coffee you are putting together to make the blend? I just don't agree with it. I'm not saying its wrong and I'm not saying its right. Just don't agree with it. I did have a great sandwich though, the meatless breakfast sandwich. It was a great bite to eat. Best coffee around, and you won't find a more friendly staff. Beans are roasted fresh at their Fort Campbell Blvd location and always fresh. They have a wide selection of specialty drinks all served hot, cold, or frozen. Great breakfast and lunch options (try the Ultimate Salsa Sunrise - you can thank me later). I love plain old black coffee, and they don't disappoint with their blends. If you like sweeter flavored drinks, I recommend the Snickerdoodle or the Almond Joy served hot! Amazing!! read more

Mugsy's coffee and smoothies get a thumbs up from me. I'm from the north and was used to Dunkins and disappointed I couldn't find many down here but Mugsys made up for it.
