ALL MILITARY STAY AWAY. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM LASCO FORD! PLEASE READ BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS BUSINESS. I am so disappointed and angry to say the least with the entire process of dealing with Lasco Ford. The only reason they have one star is because I didn't have the option to give them no stars. To begin with I am in the Navy and I found the dealership through USA as a certified dealer. I pulled up the quote for the vehicle I wanted along with the contact information for the person that deals with military sales. When I got to the dealership witch is well over an hours drive the point of contact was not there though I called prior to arriving to meet with him. I never talked or saw him during the whole process. Secondly the price quoted by USA they refused to accept. They said the vehicle I was purchasing was more loaded than what I got the quote for. I got the quote for the 2013 fully loaded sports edition explorer and they were trying to sell me the limited edition for thousands more than the USA quoted sports price. I was there for almost 8 hours! I drove the vehicle home since they told me i could take it home and see if i really liked it. I loved it! And came back the next day to do some paperwork where they tried to tell me there was an issue with the financing and I couldn't get it for the price I had negotiated it for the previous day! Wtf! Finally after Ashbourne several hours everything was set to go. They were not so happy that I negotiated so low. ...I guess they figured they could push me over since I'm a female. Like I said I'm in the military and I'm sapped in Michigan. They tried to pressure me into titling the vehicle in Michigan rather than North Carolina where I'm from. They said Michigan taxes wetter lower and I could roll it into my financing. They wetter irritated when I asked them how much NC taxes were and they didn't know. So how could they tell me that Michigan taxes were lower when they didn't know how much NC taxes were? I called the NCDMV, a call they could have easily made to find that NC tax is 3% compared to 6 in Michigan! Then they tried to tell me they couldn't register my vehicle or get me NC tags. This isn't my first Rodeo. I purchased a vehicle in Maryland a few years back and had no issues. I told them I could walk them through the process since they obviously didn't know and didn't want to take the time to know. They gave me a temp tag then took so long doing paperwork to NC that my tags expired. They never followed up to tell me the stairs of my tags. I had to repeatedly call and finally after several weeks worth of messages with no call back drove over an hour very pissed off and demanded they figure some way for me to drive my 50 thousand dollar vehicle. This must have been the worst part of the story you say. .... ha! No! A few months laterI stay getting letters from all these companies that ran my credit for vehicle financing. Probably like 12 companies. Each request brings down your credit rating and stays on your credit for 2 years! Again wtf! Still not the worst part. I layer found my clothes hanger hook on the drivers side passenger seat was broken....I love alone and never carry passengers. Just recently I had problems with my tires losing pressure. I filled them up and a week later my pressure lights come back on. I know something is wrong so I take it in to a local Ford dealership where they tell me I have a leak in one of my tires. I think maybe I've run over a nail or somthing. They tell me that the leak is where i had my tire plugged from a previous leak and i am shocked! I have never had my vehicle serviced for any tire issues and have never had a reason to suspect I had a plugged tire. This made me very upset because the only way i could have a plugged tire is if i purchased the vehicle that way, and who purchases a 50 thousand dollar vehicle with a plugged tire? Who thinks to verify that the dealership did not sell them a new vehicle with other than new not previously damaged tires. Of course the dealership refuses to accept ownership of the issue and said my car could have been shipped to them like that. WTF! AND YOU THINK IT'S OK TO SELL IT TO CUSTOMERS THAT WAY? I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT DEALERSHIP. ALL MILITARY STAY WAY! AND EVERYONE ELSE! I HAVE CONTACTED FORD DIRECTLY TO INFORM THEM ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP AND WILL CONTACT USAA TO INFORM THEM AS WELL AND TO REMOVE THEIR SPONSORSHIP FROM THIS BUSINESS. Bought my car here that was good. Then took that car to get fixed worst experience ever! They fixed the car and that went fine. When I came to pick it up I was told this was a enterprise drop off sight. I came there told them I was dropping off the rental showed them where it was and they said ok. I picked up my car and left. 6 days later enterprise called me looking for the rental. Lasco didn't tell the rental car place I returned the car. My wife called and talked to the service manager and he assured her he would straighten it out! Well 2 days later enterprise calls and says lasco won't pay for it. So you tell us to our face you will fix it and then tell the rental place the opposite nice! I tired to contact the manager but no return phone calls! Bc of their complete incompetence I had to pay 150 in rental fees for a car I did not use! I will never go here again and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague! Bought a car from them a few years ago. Was given the total run around. Told them they needed to pay off my car to use it as a trade in, which they agreed too, then when it came time to sign the papers, they said no. Was literally there 8+ hours 2 days. I wanted to just leave, but hubby is persistent. They told us they would fix the reason the check engine light was on... And they didn't. My Husband purchased a $20,000.00 F150 from this dealership on 3 July (without me being there). The Sales person told him the vehicle would be picked up in 7 - 10 days then be shipped out to California for around $700.00. The vehicle did not arrive in California till 3 August in which we ended up paying $1,000.00 for. When the vehicle arrived I was shocked of the interior condition, we spent over 2 hours cleaning the inside of the vehicle. the seats had not even been steamed cleaned there was stuff all in the cracks. i had to get goo gone and a rag and clean whatever was all over the ceiling of the vehicle. The cup holders were disgusting, though after a strong cleaner, a rag and a pen that i circled around there a few times it looked much better. i was really disappointed at their lack of detailing the interior. I did call the dealership and spoke with Used car Manager Jamin, all he had to say was "well a few hours of cleaning I'm sure is well worth it." Are you kidding me!!! We shouldn't have to clean anything for $20,000.00 I would expect to feel like im getting into a brand new vehicle, anyone can wipe an Armaral rag over the dash board, is that what your paying your detailers to do? This is going to be a long paragraph, so I apologize in advance *sorry* I purchased a car from Lasco Ford on January 11, 2017. On January 25 the car starting having a major issue with the radio / steering wheel changing the radio. I called Lasco Ford right away to ask if they could fix the issue for me. They stated "No" and that they will not be covering any of the cost of the repair because I did not get the extended warranty. I do understand that an extended warranty MAY have covered an issue like this and I would have been ok with paying for even half of the repair. My issue is that I have only had the car for two weeks and they would not cover ANYTHING. Seriously? After two weeks? I have not even put 200 miles on the car yet. If the car had come into the dealership with this issue, it would have been taken care of before selling the car. It makes me wonder now if the car did come into the dealership with this issue and they put a band aid over it. Also, if the car had this issue and I had noticed it before purchasing the vehicle, they would have repaired it for free so that I would purchase the car. The manager Pat stated he will not help me out in any way. I also made Pat aware that Lasco did not fill up my gas tank as promised and there were two pieces missing from the car when I purchased it. This was not even a huge deal to me. I do have a major issue with a company that will not stand behind the vehicles that they are selling. I ended up having to take my vehicle to Huntington Ford in Rochester Hills MI on February 1, 2017. My total cost for fixing the radio was $841.26. This is a cost that would have been minimal to Lasco, but they decided that my current business and future business was not worth it. It would not even have cost Lasco Ford this much since they would pay a minimal amount for labor. Lasco got their money out of me up front so the second I left the dealership, I meant nothing to them. What a terrible way to run a business. I never go on websites and complain, but for the first time I am because this is that ridiculous. A little piece of advice, if you're going to purchase a vehicle from Lasco Ford (JUST DON'T AT ALL) make sure you're prepared to pay out of pocket for any issue you may has as soon as you leave the parking lot. Also, if you're looking to purchase a Ford vehicle, I recommend Huntington Ford of Rochester Hills. They fixed my car and were very professional. I gotta tell you they shine there used cars up to look good to hide all the cars problems!! One problem after another from this car and a 400 a month payment to boot. Terrible experience! ABSOLUTELY terrible!! First impression was great. As I sat there for 3 hours the first night I was a little apprehensive as to where it was all going. I knew going into the deal my credit was an issue and they promised me that it would not be an issue "I am sure we can help you" were the words that I heard. After day 1 of sitting there for 3 hours I was told they would call me back in the morning around 10:30. I called THEM at 11am and got the salesman's voicemail. I called BACK around 1:30 after once again hearing NOTHING from them. During this time I spoke with a co-worker, who oddly enough had the SAME issue. he bought a 2015 Camaro with "good credit" and he waited 6 hours for final approval on his transaction. At 4pm after one brief return call and no relevant information I decided to go up there and see what the hell was going on. Nick (my salesman) seemed a little nervous that I showed up and asked me "is this what time you normally get out of work?" I said "NO I left early because I would like to purchase a car and need to get this thing going". So I made another offer on the vehicle even after all of this and was once again waiting. After sitting there another 15/20 min I felt as if I was being ignored again. Nick returned a few minutes later and said "I am going to fax all of your information over to the Fenton store" I felt like I was being passed off because of my credit issues. Talk about embarrassing. What kind of company treats people like this? She had this belief I was going to get into this Escape, I told her if it was a n go do your work I'll go, she proceeded to waste another two hours saying I will get into it everything was good, then she walked back and said it was impossible to get the payment right. We had such poor service from the sales department, I will never walk back into this dealership. Our first trip in the door was great and they did everything they could to earn our business. On our subsequent trips back in service kept going downhill. After making appointments with a salesman, we were left waiting for almost an hour before walking out. If he was busy, we would have appreciated sending over someone else to answer our questions. Next time in I was left alone and had to walk around to find someone to hand keys to after a test drive. After deciding to purchase a vehicle, we were quoted one monthly payment over the phone but was higher on the paperwork when it came to signing. We received a call back the next day something that was on the vehicle was not included in the sticker price so we would be responsible for that. We cancelled that purchase at that point and will NEVER walk back into that dealership. read more

Ed was friendly and knowledgable (which was important to us). He actually delivered one car to my house. We also took another older car to the Service department for tires, break pads, and tie rods. I was referred to Lasco Ford because I recently went through a divorce and had a bankruptcy and needed to get out of my lease since it was in my exs name. I came in and seen Emily Kerzka and she was pleasant, and she was using her finance person Michael McKolay. He did a soft pull and said he thought he could help me get something in my name. So as I sat there he came and updated me and said to go home and he would call me the next day with news. NEVER did I get a call or email or anything. Fast forward to Monday still nothing. Finally I emailed them both asking for an update, said if you couldn't help I understood but to at least give me the courtesy of a response as to what they were saying, do I need a down payment or what so I at least knew where to go from there. Please take my advice and never go to Lasco Ford. I was working with Whitni Berry who seemed like a really good person at first. I was honestly blown away with the service I was getting. Then after I agreed to buy the vehicle I was interested in, everything changed. Whitni lied to me every step of the way, along with the finance department. The original agreement for me to buy the truck I was interested in was that she would absorb the cost of my plates and tabs. Well that never happened, along with a few other things that never happened. First of all I waited for over five hours the first day I was here. I was ok with the wait because Whitni told me that Lasco works with over 50 banks to get the best rate. Then when I finally get to finance, the finance rate they offered was much higher than I told Whitni I wanted. The finance guy (Im unsure of his name) told me that the best rate he could fine me was 8.9%. He referenced my credit score (644), the year of the vehicle 2004, and the miles (High) and said this is the best rate he could find. I believed what he said and decided to go with it, I figured that my credit was bad, and this would be the best I could do. Well I signed some papers and had to come back a few days later to finish up because it was the weekend and I couldn't get proof of insurance. On my way out Whitni told me when I came back that the truck would have a full tank of gas and it would be detailed. Well I showed up on a few days later looked at the truck and it wasn't even washed. Whitni seen that I was frustrated, I explained to her I wasn't just mad about the wait (another four hours this day) I noticed the truck was dirty too. I also said I bet there isn't a full tank of gas either. She then lied to me and said she washed the car herself, and never told me she would have said a full tank of gas would be in the truck. She said that her boss would be very angry with her if she offered that. I also said "did you even take care of the plates and tabs for me? " She said she did. After Whitni walked away I over heard another salesman tell his costumers that he would have a full tank of gas if they decided to purchase the car they were interested in. I can believe I didn't flip out, I think I was just so tired of the lies and wait I just wanted to get the hell out of here, I already signed to buy the car and put down a 2k down payment, I figured there was no turning back. I end up making it into the finance department, and with no surprise im being charged for my plate and insurance! Oh ya I also refinancing my loan for just under 4% !!!! read more

I had a great experiencing leasing my 2014 Ford Escape at Lasco Ford. They weren't at the top of my list initially since they're about 45 min away from me. But after I got a better quote on truecar.com with Lasco than my local dealership, I decided to check them out. I received a friendly call from Paul Zagmann of Lasco explaining the truecar process and promising to honor the quoted price, so I made the drive over. The dealership itself was under construction, and it had kind of an "old school" look with a busy room of salespeople and managers and customers sitting at round tables inside. They kept re-emphasizing their new and improved renovations underway, but I didn't mind as I got speedy, great service from Emily Lorencz and Paul Zagmann. Of course, I was disappointed to hear that the quoted price on my Ford Escape only applied to purchasing and not leasing the car (truecar.com did not make this clear), but Paul & Emily worked with me on the lease terms I was looking for. They were able to find the deals & incentives that got me a better price than the X-plan, which was as far as my local Ford dealership would go in making a deal for me. I was also under some time constraints as I had just moved to Michigan and needed a car ASAP. Paul and Emily understood that and made it clear what documents I needed to arrange and even advised me about going to the Secretary of State. I was able to email and text them pictures of my documents, and long story short, I was driving my brand new Ford Escape off the lot less than 24 hours later!! And most importantly, at the best price I had been offered. I was hesitant at first, but my whole experience was smooth, and though the sales process was pushy at times, they were honest and stuck to our agreed-upon price. My husband and I went to Lasco knowing we have negative equity in a current auto loan. Our salesman Florin, took the time to show us two vehicles we we're interested in, and I got to drive a Flex. We left without a new car this time but Flo explained many different options, numbers, rebates, etc..and took the time to be honest, straight forward, and not pressuring us in anyway. I just went to Lasco Ford for new tires and a new tie rod. The staff was friendly and everything was very affordable. When it came to the tires, I had a list of questions that the staff was very helpful in answering and set me at ease that I was making the right choice for my vehicle. I would definitely go back, everyone was so accommodating and it was a breath of fresh air going to a place with such professionalism. I've dealt with so many mechanics in the past that ripped me off and kept my car for days at a time. At Lasco, my car was ready that same day and they even picked me up from work and brought me to my car. I will definitely be back for any auto needs in the future! read more

They were very rude to me from the moment I walked in. I had to wait fifteen minutes to even be approached by a salesperson while inside. I figured it was just because I was young, but when I brought my family in too they were still the same. The customer service there was awful. They didn't sit down with me at a computer and look at stuff, they run into their offices by themselves for like 20-30 minutes every time I had a question (very impersonal if you ask me), and every time the guy came back he basically gave me the same information over and over again. The whole thing took 4 days to do because of the way they handle customers there, and all 4 days my family and I were talked down to. The car I bought had one price in it, one price online, and one price on the alternative website lascousedcars.com, so they weren't sure which price to charge me. I told them multiple times I was looking to get my monthly payment between $100-$200 dollars, and my salesman (Bruce King) brings back a payment plan outline where I would have been paying $500 for my car. (This is when my jaw dropped) They didn't start taking me seriously until I told them I planned on putting half the full price down. I had originally planned to have my grandpa cosign, and the whole time they were trying to talk me out of it. The manager, Jeff Schuler, even said something along the lines of "grandpa won't be around to help you out forever" and wouldn't give me the price quotes I asked for because the whole time he was trying to get me to buy without a co-signer (Which I ended up doing). The third day, I was told that since I was so young (18), the only bank that would accept me was a place that tried getting me to pay 48% interest rate on top of raising the overall price of the car. After many more of Bruce's ludicrously overpriced quotes, they let me take the car for the day. -The day I finally go in to buy the car, I call them at 9AM and ask them to have prices pulled up for me because I have to work later. Go in, nothing is ready and it takes all day AGAIN. Come to find out, another bank had actually been available to sign me for about 7% interest rate. When asked why they didn't reveal that to me the previous day Jeff's response was, "You guys just don't understand how the business works." (This angered me very much, but I really wanted the car). They also tried cheating me out of my trade-in by not showing it on the payment plan. I asked several times why it wasn't showing up on the quotes, and they assured me it was included. I demanded them to spell it out for me because I wasn't buying it. Come to find out, it wasn't included at all after 3 employees said it was. I finally get back into the finance office and the guy, Showen Neusome, if we could possible hurry because I have to get to work soon. He cocks an attitude and says, "Wow, sounds like you guys have had a real shitty time." (I informed him that I had). He starts checking his phone/texting and yelling at his friends across the hallway to get him snacks from the gas station while I'm in the room trying to get my car straightened out so I could leave for work, and it still wasn't finished by the time I had to go, so my mom had to drive the car off the lot for me. -As if that wasn't enough, I got a letter in the mail saying my loan request was denied, (from a bank I didn't even go through) with a co-signer I've never even heard of! (They promised me they didn't send out my information to anyone when I was buying my car) I called Lasco to see what was up, and the first guy says the guy on my letter, (Lee Troy), has never been in Lasco. We ask to speak to his manager, and that the manager, Ryan Long, says, "Lee Troy? Oh that guy is in here all the time. Shit, he could buy this place if he wanted." We asked why the first guy said otherwise, and his response is, "It was probably a mistake. If you're accusing us of something you better lawyer up." (Sounds a little defensive to me.) My question: how do you accidentally send out my personal information after saying you didn't, with a cosigner's name that I have never heard of on it as well?) I went through 5 different people from this place, all of them were rude and made it pretty obvious that they thought they could outsmart me. Dropped my car (with an aptmt)for someone to look at sunroof, was told they could look at the next day. Got a late text that trim guy was too busy to look at it but would the following day (Fri.). No word from them so I called and they hadn't even looked at. Mean while, I was having to get rides from family and friends. Monday rolls around and I called on my lunch hour and once again "trim guy was busy on a job". Thanks Lasco for keeping me abreast of what is going on (or not) with my car! I went and picked it up after work, (still not looked at) after 'Andrew' (says he was the mgr) was very unsympathetic and uncaring. I will never buy another car from them as it appears their word doesn't mean anything anymore. Word of mouth advertising is the best advertising so I am taking every opportunity to share my negative experience with as many peeps as possible. And with my job, I meet many peeps daily! read more

As part of our recent car shopping experience, we were also seeking to trade in our car. To hasten the process I submitted all of the car's details electronically in advance to Lasco Ford, including its VIN. One of Lasco's salespeople scheduled an appointment to inspect our car, and offered what I thought seemed like a reasonable price for it, which enticed my wife and I to take the afternoon off from work and make the 20+ mile drive to the dealership. We identified a vehicle of our liking, but Lasco's inspection team came back with less than half of what we were originally offered, even though they had all of the information in advance, so we left. The whole experience was a complete waste of time. I sent a note to Lasco's leadership regarding the 'bait and switch' technique that we unfortunately suffered, but was only provided a nearly illegible response. Our salesperson followed up with us via both voicemail and email regarding our interest in the car we identified, but why would we consider Lasco Ford after their unfortunate ethical lapse. read more

I could not be more dissatisfied with Lasko Ford in Fenton. The pushy sales men are downright rude. They had my current vehicle in the back to appraise a trade in value. Then instead of returning the keys to me and bringing the vehicle back, they hold the keys and vehicle as a way to pressure you into the sale if it is not going your way. After telling us one thing, once it came down to the deal all of a sudden we needed to pay more money up front or pay a higher monthly payment. When we said we would not make that deal we could not afford it, they continued to push us. We became frustrated and said we want our keys and my husband stormed out. It took them 30 minutes to return MY car and keys, all the while they were continue to get a sale from us. I have never been pushed around more in my life. They made our experience very unpleasant. The service department is just as bad. Our vehicle (that is only 6 months old) had the seatbelt tearing. They said they would fix it. We made an appointment left the vehicle there all day and then at the end of the day it was still not fixed. So we made ANOTHER appointment a week later, turns out the first time they never even had the part in! This time we drop it off at 8am. After calling at 4 to find out if we could pick it up (we told them we needed it by 5) they say they are JUST NOW pulling it in to be fixed and will call us. We received no call. When we call the next day they say they are just now finishing up the paperwork, but to be honest we lost your keys! How does that happen, and if it does why not be honest about why you truly had our car for 3 days total to fix a seat belt! This place is ridiculous and may be a high volume store, but they need to focus on their customer service. Please go to a different dealership if you want to feel like you are appreciated as you will not get it at this location. read more

Tried to get my car into the service for a transmission slipping at 25000 miles. Apparently it's a common problem with fords new transmissions and no recall. Although it's an automatic, it is actually an automated manual. They are gas efficient but have not been perfected yet. Blame it the new gas mileage requirements or fords lack of testing, whatever you like. Anyways the first time I call they are short of loaner cars so I can't make an appointment... Really? Second time the service guy was very rude sounding but was handling my appointment when the call dropped. So I called right back and the phone rings ..... And rings and rings and rings. I am a mechanic with an associate degree so at first I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt at first. But after the third time I'm thinking these guys just stink. I've been to them before and this is a common issues with them, lack of loaner cars or happy smiley people. I wish it wasn't the only one close to my house. II had taken time to check this site out. I ttraded my ford 2007 focus and just a month ago they gave me 7000. for it and I leased a 2012. they were rude and the place felt like a gym could not here what sale person said her name start with a j .Any way the sent my car my old one with 5800.miles on it before I could get stuff out my car charge my mates I bought any way I wrote on the survey the send you I cant remember what she said but they still have my car charger and still waiting. This sales said after writing that review "you can get it your self" mgr x 2 said she had a write to be angrery and she had the right to say what she wanted and they will send my car charge I bought car in may still no charge after the mgr said he would send it via mail. I agree with Jenee M. This place is incredibly unprofessional-not to mention chaotic, draining, and time consuming. I bought a car from them around 2 years ago-have not and will not ever go back-do not recommend to anyone. They received my old car as a trade in plus a recreational vehicle, sold me a base model car that was only worth about 1/4 of what I'm still paying, and I'm stuck with a whopping loan that I can't get out from under. Top it off with the fact that the car is a ticking time bomb. It ran right for approximately 2 wks. From that 2 wk mark on it's had something consistently wrong with it. Around every corner is another fix for this or that. I've never been so disappointed with a salesman (Phil Hall) or a finance manager (Johnny Sunshine). I've financed lots of cars over the years, been able to semi-trust the team I was working with, and to be able to still have equity in the car when I trade it back it for another, but with this lemon I'm majorly in the hole. I would sooner use horse and buggy than to ever, ever purchase a car from Lasco Ford in Fenton. In shopping for a 2014 or 2015 Ford Fiesta, we found an ad online where we could purchase one (we didn't want to lease, so this purchase price seemed fair and comfortable) for $169 a month, 0% financing for 72 mos. Upon visiting the dealership and speaking with John there, he proceeded to take personal information, running credit check, having us take a test drive and more, totaling an hour and a half in time. John kept mysteriously disappearing from one office to another, in the pretense of needing to speak with a person in this department, or a person in that department, meanwhile leaving us wondering how the hell much longer was this process going to take. FINALLY after close to 2 hours, John came out and "explained" why our payment was now going to be $212, even though our credit was impeccable and we had several thousand dollars to put down on this $14,000 car. All of a sudden this car was no longer $14,000, but would be $16,000 and the incentives he had promised us weren't available on this particular car, even though they were clearly advertised in the ad online. Oh and by the way, the 0% financing was now 1.9% and only for 60 months, IF we put MORE down than originally planned. We went around and around and around about why this was not acceptable to us. The sales manager and John kept "working their numbers" to see if they could get our payment down lower, and each and every time we felt more and more lied to, and they looked more and more unprofessional. We walked out more than a little disgusted. The next day John called, apologizing for the "miscommunication" and promised he had exactly what we wanted at exactly the price we wanted to pay per month, at 0% financing for 72 months. Said he could have it ready for us if we could promise him our business and be there the following morning. We went in, wondering if we were making a mistake and whether or not we could believe a word he said.......We went so far as to even give John $3,000 down payment as promised, and he said he would come out with the final paperwork for u to sign. Well we should have listened to our instinct because another 1 1/2 hours later, the same song and dance about why all of a sudden he couldn't honor the promise he had made over the phone. And again, he consults the sales manager who had to come out and "explain" the miscommunication, and came up with a number that was completely unacceptable to us. We didn't hesitate to tell them what we thought of their shady business and how their constant "miscommunications" were no way to gain a customer. They might call them miscommunications, but I consider it a flat out lie when a sales person promises one thing, wastes hours of your time, only to come out with figures that were no where in the ball park of the original promise. Offered a $7,000 trade for my car, a firm exact trade based on the appraisal that was done by one of the sales MANAGERS. After I spent much of my time searching the lot online, and in store I was able to find a vehicle I loved that I wanted to purchase. Once we sat down to fill out the paperwork to purchase the vehicle, the trade in price DROPPED to $3,500. When I asked about why the price difference they basically said "too bad this is what we can offer" but said it was okay because if i just added the other $3,500 in difference they could still make the deal. How on earth is this a correct way to do business? I was baited in with promises of a good deal, then at the last minute they took it all away, but still pressured me into making the deal. They don't care about the customer, only the money. DO NOT shop at this dealer, they will do everything they can to lie and cheat to make a deal the works in THEIR favor only. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! I bought a used Jeep Compass from them. I went there because they were known to help people with less than perfect credit get into vehicles. Well they are not the only dealership that does this. It took 3 DAYS TO GET AN $8000 USED CAR. I had my 7 month old son with me as well and I sat there for 3 days. But the nightmare continues past that. I test drove the vehicle and asked about some idiot lights and a little noise I was noticing. They promised it would be taken care of in the service department. After having the car for HOURS in service I was told that it was fixed. IT WAS NOT! I went back and was then told that the idiot lights could not be fixed. And now after not even having the vehicle for 90 days and haven't even gone 3000 miles the noise I noticed has gotten so much worse. So I take myself back to the service department expecting them to fix it with my warranty. OH NO THEY WANT $140 FOR A BELT AND $550 FOR AN ALTERNATOR! (They also were nice enough to give me a loaner while they take their sweet time to look at it and gave me a car with a headlight out so I have gotten pulled over twice with my little baby in the car) I have only had the Jeep for a little over a month! I WAS LIED TO AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. I asked about the noise before ever purchasing the car. Now they want to charge me for the problem because it is not covered in the warranty. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever had and I cannot even enjoy my car now. I would not even give one star if the review would have let me. read more

everyother person i met was so warm and helpful my rating is only for him. i want to be very direct as he was with his firm delivery of what i should/shouldn't have done in my personal life not knowing anyone situations and even if you did never incorporate your viewings. over speaking in a loud voice oh yes fernando is the most rude condescending sales agent i have met i've witnessed his poor engagement and choice of terms to his current (two months ago) or potential customers currently one day ago to be exact 6/6/17 (such as myself). i pray those calls are literally recored. however no worries there are intelligent people and business owners in the world like myself whom take customer service to heart. i documented and notated everything!! aside from having him on speaker so others at one point of this horrible discouraging converstion could witness mr.fernando most certainly will be in contact with corporate. no one in this world deserves poor treatment humans need to wake up. lasco ford should reevaluate their employeess this is a business correct? huge thank you to the sales manager for steping in to help read more

While I was completely dissatisfied with their sales department, considering the fact that it took 7 trips, close to 10 hours, and a whole week to purchase a vehicle from this company, that all dulls in comparison to what I have had to experience with their service department. Upon test driving the vehicle I noticed an obvious shaking issue. I was promised by the salesman and manager it would be addressed before the purchase was complete. Supposedly, the issue had been "fixed" while we worked on our financing. I left with the vehicle vehicle and immediately noticed the shaking was still very much there. I called back and was told to schedule an appointment to have it addressed. I scheduled an appointment and was told they would have a loaner for me while they worked on it (I had to schedule out a week to ensure I would get a loaner). I called the day before to make sure I'd be all good to go when I dropped off my car and they were unaware of my appointment and don't even have any loaners to give out. PERIOD! I took my vehicle in and was given a ride to work. Four hours later the car was returned to me and had apparently been "fixed". I wasn't given any paperwork to show what had been done, and when I called, I was told some story about having a bent wheel and was told they replaced my tires (which looked fine when I looked at them). When I left work, the shaking was just as apparent as when I left it with them before service. I called the next day and was told that there was nothing more they could do, I could bring it back in but all they were going to do was replace the tires again (WHICH WAS NOT THE PROBLEM). So, I took it to management, as far as it could go. I was put in touch with another service person at their other location. I took it over there where I did receive a loaner and they fixed the issue (which was tie rods and ball joints). Everything was okay for about a week until the next issue popped up. My car wouldn't start and about every sensor was going off. Had it towed back to the dealership where it was diagnosed with a throttle body issue. They had my vehicle for about another week. When I got the vehicle back, I noticed that it still seemed to run funny but I couldn't pinpoint what the issue was. After having the vehicle back for about 3 weeks the next issue popped up. I am now losing power to my engine while driving, and I have to jump my car every time it needs to be started. Have it towed, yet again. This time it's the battery cable has corroded.This time I'm told it's not covered under warranty (like everything else thus far) and that it's going to be close to $250 to fix, on top of towing which was $130. Almost $400 to fix a battery cable? I think not. Obviously, this is not okay, battery cables do not corrode when driven for 5000 miles, it had to be like that when it was sold to me. After a lot of phone calls and complaints I am able to get them down to $200 for everything. After a couple days, I get a phone call while I'm waiting for the cable to be fixed and am told that they are going to cover everything fully 100%, oh and by the way, we scratched your car while it was here so we are sending it to the body shop to be fixed so it's going to be about another week. After 2 weeks of waiting to get my car back I finally get the call that it's ready. When I picked my car up, I noticed a shutter when I hit my gas pedal. Literally, as I am pulling out of the parking lot. I drive the vehicle home and schedule an appointment with a different dealerships service department, at this point I am DONE with Lasco. After 2 days at their facility, they tell me that my transmission needs to be replaced. They found metal fragments in my fluid and that it smells awful. Also, they found that the transmission lines need to be replaced. AND there is also an oil leak at my pan gasket (it had rotted). The oil leak has also detroyed my crank shaft balancer. NEVER buy a vehicle from Lasco. Shady business, empty promises, BIG ADVERTISING that means nothing! There's a reason why they say they can finance anyone. I purchased a 2013 Ford Fiesta from Lasco Ford back in July and it has been nothing but a huge hassle. Not even a month later, I started having transmission problems. I made an appointment to get it fixed and it took them three days to get back with me to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the car. Clearly when your car makes a shutter/jerking motion when you accelerate from a stopped position there is something wrong there but they kept telling me that was normal and that's what the car is supposed to do. A couple months later, I had to get a recall fixed on my door and I got a tire rotation and an oil change done on it as well. I made an appointment the week before and when I took my car in, they said I didn't even have an appointment even though the lady on the phone supposedly put me down in the computer. It took the whole day to fix it and I had to miss work because they didn't have any loaner cars available for me to use. After I picked the car up I took it home and I didn't go anywhere else that night, but the next morning when I got up my tire was completely flat. I called the service department and asked if they could tow it to their place because I have the tire warranty but they told me there was nothing they could do unless they had the car in their garage. So I had to change the tire out myself and put a donut on it and I took it to the dealership. I saw there was a metal shard sticking out of my tire and that was why it went flat. They patched the hole and told me I could have picked that shard up anywhere, but they just had it in their shop the night before to fix the recall and do the tire rotation on it so I'm thinking it came from their shop. Not even a week later I was on my way home from work and I got a flat tire. I had to put the donut on and I took it back up to the dealership to get it fixed again. They said the hole was too big to plug this time and that I would have to get a whole new tire. I told them I have the tire warranty so it should be covered. One of the workers at the shop said they had to call and deal the warranty claims office first and get it authorized before they could get me a tire so they told me it would be about a week. I just called today and I found out they hadn't even ordered a tire and no one knew what I was talking about. So I had to complain at the parts manager so I could finally get a tire ordered. I should have it tomorrow. Overall, my experience here has not been good at all. They are so unorganized and it takes them forever to even do anything unless you get mad and complain to the managers. They never have any loaner cars available so if you need your car serviced you better have another ride or expect to miss work. I will not be taking my car back to this dealership again. read more
