Took my car here after an accident and had a terrible experience. I was charged extra for something that should've been covered by insurance. Parts of the vehicle weren't even painted until I pointed it out, and there are still interior pieces missing. Just leased a car here. Overall, I'm happy with the car/sale. My salesperson is great and coordinated the sale & service very well (They had a raffle I was unaware of and got my gifts to me!), and I'd do business with them again. The signing was long because the lease numbers were not adding up, due to a miscalculation that would have cost me ~$30-40/month extra if I didn't do the math myself. I really appreciated the dealership's offer to provide a loaner vehicle to me if I ever needed service. Lucky for me, my windshield cracked less than 2 weeks after taking it home. When contacting my salesperson, they directed me to a local glass shop because they didn't do windshields, and offered a loaner when my car was at the glass shop. The shop told me my car was too new to have mass produced windshields, and it must be ordered from the dealer. The salesperson found out RW actually does handle windshields, which was a relief, but it left me with a lot of wasted time and calls. The service dept was very understanding when I didn't return their calls for a little due to working a lot. When arriving and dropping off my car, I received a loaner that was pretty disgusting. It was a 2021 car, but had food left everywhere, straw wrappers, and drink spilled on the inside. To add to this, it had less than 1/4 tank of gas (It's known I live 45 min away from this dealership, so I had to stop before arriving home and fill up) PLUS the first message on the dash as I get in: "Wiper Fluid Low, Refill" or something along those lines. But the job was done in a day and my car was dropped off to me - super helpful. **COVID Related: I work at a large hospital and worked throughout the pandemic. Michigan has a mask mandate. No one wants to wear a mask, but it's mandated we do when around other households/in public. Whenever I have been here, everyone's masks are hanging off one ear or laying on their desk. The people I have worked with know I work in a hospital. The driver that dropped off my car to me got out of the car without a mask. Not only is it disrespectful to the general public, but disrespectful to someone who 1) you know has seen some scary, life-changing events at their workplace and 2) is bringing you business. read more

Brought a Terrain from Randy Wise. Few years later needed front brakes. Had them replaced and then grinding sounds coming from the front in about a month.. Brought it back and they say it's the back brakes. Over $800 spent. Bring it back because there are still grinding sounds. I question the service manager on the competency of what's going on and he laughs... just laughs and says, "Don't question my people." Well the works not done right so... anyway, let me speak with your manager. He's not here. Ok so what's his number? Oh he's in a meeting. Clearly just lying... just simply lying. I have only every bought vehicles here. The service department is always super friendly! Dale has helped me get cars all my life and has helped my family for a long time! I highly recommend him! Only thing I can say I was unimpressed with was once, my ex-husband had an accident and they fixed my car through my insurance. They had to order a hubcap and told me they'd call me to replace it. They charged my insurance, but the part was never delivered or put on. This was years ago and they've made up for it since, however, just make sure if you're there for insurance fixes, make sure it isn't charged and missed! On 12/7/22 my son purchased a used 2013 GMC Yukon from the Dealership. On 1/16/23 he almost had a serious accident due to the wheel bearing going out and the axle breaking on the vehicle. Though this vehicle was sold 'as is' - I believe the Dealership misrepresented the vehicle based on they claim to do a 'safety check' and this is indeed something they should have seen and qualifies under 'safety check'. They even made a point of informing him the vehicle had new tires they put on - and they definitely should have foreseen the condition of the wheel bearings if they installed new tires. He had the Yukon towed to the Dealership and we called there numerous times over 1/16 & 1/17 trying to work out a resolution. We were told it would cost at least $3,300.00 to repair the vehicle. The phone calls included the Service Department and even the General Manager. The General Manager spoke with the Service Department and they called back saying they would reduce it to $2,500.00. We informed them that based on their Service Department write up, a local Auto Repair Service stated an estimate of $1,700.00. We felt it should be based on that estimate and that the Dealership pays half and we pay half. They would not negotiate further than the $2,500.00. On 1/18/23 we had the vehicle towed from the Dealership to the Auto Repair Service. They misrepresent their used vehicles when they throw around "we do a safety check". If they did one, they were certainly negligent in their duties. read more

I bought a new 2020 Acadia this August from RWB/GMC. The process was amazing, easy and I absolutely loved my car. Kerrigan was an amazing point of contact for any follow up needs/questions. Well, 2020 struck again, and I was in an accident which resulted in insurance totaling the Acadia. I immediately contacted RWB, and asked if they could help me find a new vehicle. We are out of state, and had to most of the search process virtual, while also waiting for insurance to finalize things. Tim S. was nothing short of amazing - he was responsive, patient and went out of his way to help us find what we needed and wanted, during a fairly stressful time. My mom purchased a certified pre-owned Acadia from Tim Taylor at Randy Wise. The vehicle had some body work that needed to be done; significant scratching on the entire length of the passenger side door panels. Additionally, the rear back-up camera is scratched so the view is very foggy. The work was to be completed as a "we owe you" which we have in writing. Upon delivery of the vehicle, it was clearly visible that the body shop had made an attempt at removing the scratches but made them terribly worse, now with circular buffer marks on the back panel of the vehicle - extending to the plastic wheel trim which ruined that piece. My mom was told that the body guy needed to order paint and she could come back the next time he was there, which would be the following Thursday; they would call her when the paint came in. Ironically, the vehicle is a standard GMC black color so I'm not sure why they don't have this in-stock...but okay. Thursday came and went and they never called her. So she called the following week and was told that the body guy would be in Wednesday and they would call her. Sure enough, they never called. Since the body shop is so terrible, she is reluctant to keep pursuing this when they simply are not interested in upholding their promise and have no quality control over the work. And the back-up camera also needs to be fixed but they are not taking any responsibility for that either. Super disappointed! read more

The day after I took it home the entire display that controls essentially everything in the car went bizzurk and I called over and over about it and they blew me off. Took to a Cadillac dealership only to find 4 recalls and a huge break leak into the main cylinder. They knew, didn't care, and still could care less. Shame on you JJ!! My daughters Jeep Compass encountered extensive damage to the front end of her car. When I called my insurance company Randy Wise was the only dealership in the FENTON area that my insurance company would authorize. I was surprised to find out that the could repair her Jeep Compass. They did a fabulous job on repairing her car. I have to give credit to Matt in the body shop for keeping us well informed! Nice job Matt. I would highly recommend Randy Wise for any auto repair in any model of car based upon the excellent service they provided for the repair of my daughters Jeep Compass. Have had work done there a few times, every other time it was great... until this time. After preforming several hundred dollars worth of repairs, they also incurred several hundred dollars worth of damage that they refused to acknowledge. The tech watched the entire seat move and claimed only the head rest was moving. It is unfortunate that we don't have the time and equipment to do every repair we need, we certainly hope we can trust the next body shop we go to. Word to the wise: you should basically photograph every inch of your car and do a walk around outside and inside of your vehicle with the person and note everything. Found a car on their website, called and spoke with Noelle on a wednesday. Told her we had just over an hour drive to come look at the car the next day. She called us and said the car won't start and had a broken motor mount and would call us after it got fixed. She also pointed out similar cars available for much more than this was advertised for. We called Friday and Saturday looking for updates so we could drive up to look it over. Received en email from Cargurus Tuesday Morning, they supposedly sold the car. Called back to speak with Noelle and she was too busy to take our call. Convinced they were doing a bait and switch on us! We would like to say "Thank You" to the collision department! They repaired our 2018 Buick Enclave. I was hit on the right rear side. It looks brand new! You cannot tell it was ever damaged. Paint job is extremely well done. The enclave was parked in a parking lot last night light shining on it and you could not tell where the new paint starts the 5-year-old paint is. The communication was excellent. AWESOME service all the way around. We called they gave us a time to bring it to get and estimate. They did all the communication with the insurance company. They set up a time to bring it in to have it repaired that was convenient for us. Said they would call if they did not receive the parts and reschedule! That alone was FANTASTIC how many times have you took something in to have it repaired and they had not received the parts yet and didn't bother to call! When I picked up my car Matt was courteous and friendly. He was very patient making sure I was satisfied with the repairs that had been done! read more

They didn't we got hit with a 1,300.00 bill!!!!!!! I tried calling 15 times to speak with someone and no calls back after leaving message after message! I even asked to speak with Randy Wise himself! And obviously I was left leaving voice message and written messages! I have never ever complained about anything from good to major stuff! I purchased a used Jeep Rubicon off the used lot in Fenton. The next day the Jeep wouldn't start. I was told I would have to remove all aftermarket items before they could work on Jeep, these were on Jeep when it was purchased. It took from Oct 11, 2018 to Aug 20, 2019 to figure out why it wouldn't start off and on. Soft top came with the Jeep, but when we went to put it on windows and siderails were missing, we were told they were in the back, but never materialized. To date there has been $7286.29 worth of repairs done to this vehicle, (with more needed)just not oil changes and tire rotations, not wearable parts, major issues with ABSOLUTE NO support from Randy Wise Fenton. And that doesn't include tow bills and rental costs. Called today to talk to Dave Pasco and left on hold so long I just hung up. Drove out there over an hour to be told that, unbeknownst to our salesman Jonathan Smoot, the car he had told us was available had a deposit put down on it by another client. We put a deposit down as second in line. Jonathan then called the next day saying that the first client's deal had fallen through. Phone calls to insurance, the bank & another long drive to Fenton led to sitting around for an hour only to be told that the car had been sold to the first client. Jonathan informed us that his manager Dave had gone back on his word and Dave came out to confirm the bad news with the most insincere apology I've ever heard. No transparency. My 2016 Acadia just out of warranty was diagnosed with a leaky evaporator core caused by the blower fan coating coming off and clogging the tubes. 100% the engineering of the car is to blame. The cost was $1500 which three months prior would be covered under warranty. I complained and they "contacted" GM and the price was reduced to $150. I agreed on the charges but the next day they called and found more problems that raised the price to $350. Was the dealer trying to make up some more costs? I understand cars need repairs but I expect the dealer to know what is wrong the first time and more importantly to stand behind their product without all the back door shenanigans. read more

Worst experience I've ever dealt with in my life! Lies from the get-go saying I would be given a loaner car for any trips I go on since I leased a car with 6K miles already on it. Except when you really need the car? You won't get one! already put on my year's limit in 5 months! The disposition fee the dealership promised to pay? Nope! Is now reflected on my credit report! Now my brand new car has a transmission warning and the dealership has no loaner car for me (even though I pay extra for this coverage with the Wise Care program). I had to have a few minor items taken care of with my 2013 Buick Regal GS. The brakes squeaked, the interior had rattles, and the engine has some possible small oil leaks. First off, my salesman Bill Ross got me into a loaner GMC Acadia for the day and when my service guy, Kyle told me the car needed to stay longer he got me into a brand new 2015 Buick LaCrosse with 300 miles on. Needless to say I was very pleased with both Bill helping me as usual and Kyle getting me a loner. Kyle and the technician, whom I don't know worked on it, did a fantastic job at meeting my needs and solving the issues. Kyle kept me abreast of what was going on with the car each day at least once, sometimes twice. The tech took the time to call GM twice to inquire about the brakes and the oil issues. I also wanted the car detailed and since that got delayed a bit (only a day) I was given a 30 dollar discount on that. I got the car back in brand new condition and Kyle is going to follow up on the problems I had to see if they are corrected in a month when I bring it back in for my oil change and tire rotation. I live in Illinois and never purchased a vehicle from Randy Wise Buick however, someone with the same name as mine did. I received an email last month letting me know it was time to bring my Terrain in for servicing. I actually own a Ford Edge. I called immediately because I was concerned that someone had stole my identity. Luckily that didn't happen and I was assured the email information would be corrected. 2 days ago I received an email confirming my 1:00 PM appt. for servicing and I responded by email this time that I would not be keeping the appointment. Today I received a survey asking me to rate the service. If they can't correct an issue with an incorrect email address then I definitely would not buy a vehicle from them even if I did move to Michigan. read more

My car was in for accident repairs recently. The dealership replaced a light bulb (and charged me) that didn't need to be replaced, it is the wiring that is bad-according to them. Then told me they would not put my other bulb back in, or refund me even though it wasn't a bad bulb, because they had to glue the new bulb in place. My other bulb was brand new and they originally told me it was burned out. When they found out their bulb went out as well that is when they said it was the wiring. I just want my original bulb back in place and my money back for the bulb that didn't fix the problem. read more

They lost a customer, I leased my vehicle with them in May 2016, my grandparents used them and recommended Joe Souper (SP) to me, he was great and helped, I got the car. Then with servicing the vehicle my great experience with them turned for the worse, to the point they lost a customer. I've only had work done at RW since I've gotten my car and recently my car was acting funny (It's a 2016 Buick encore) not picking up speed, one of my sensors kept saying it needed service, and I was having some issues with my back up cam)- mind you most of this is what was supposed to be fixed in November when they had my car for 3 weeks. called scheduled an appointment with Mike (I'm pretty sure that was his name) got my car in for my appointment he got me a rental, received a call like 2 days later letting me know it needed a program update, mentioned my filters might need to be fixed, said the car was ready and I came to get it. Not a week later, the car still wasn't picking up speed, stalled out on me getting on the expressway, and my sensor was now unavailable. I called mike again when the check engine light came on and expressed my frustration, concern, and reiterated, I have a 2016 vehicle, I drive 60 plus miles a day just for work I can't have my car break down on me. He then tells me it will be possibly 2 weeks before he can get my car back in. I was overly frustrated and expressed to him he just had my car, and nothing that was wrong with it when I took it to him, was fixed, or it wasn't fixed correctly. he still had no answer for me. I called back and asked if I can take it to another dealership for servicing, and he said yes as long as it was a GM dealership- my first issue with this he didn't even try to save me as a customer, and he didn't want to honor the work that his crew did. I contacted Patsy Lou that day, got my car in there the same day, and there was an issue with the fuel registering to the engine (the actuator/turbo) needless to say Patsy Lou in Flint fixed my car, and I've had it back about 2 weeks and no issues. The things that needed to be fixed was fixed. Another issue I had, I mentioned before I leased my vehicle through them, after I leased it I got a new job causing me to drive more (like I mentioned I drive 60 plus miles a day now) so I'm going to go over my miles, I requested information many times with Joe, and his boss or direct supervisor (Oliver or Nick is coming to mind) or a solution to be able to get out of the lease whether its buying it or getting into something cheaper, or some kind of answer, and since May, I've been waiting for responses, and responses, whenever I call in to follow-up (Usually once a month) Either no phone call back, or I'm still waiting, or let me get a hold of you in a few moments I'm with someone right no. Even I've spoken with them in person when I was a dealership getting service done, and still no answers. The customer service has just gone down once I've gotten the car, and to the point they don't even care that they are losing a customer. read more
