Absolute worst experience ever!!!!! Had 8am appointment for neck laser and Botox. It's 9:02am and they haven't even started the Botox. When I came in I mentioned that my laser results have been really bad compared to laser results from other providers. I asked what the process is for communicating this to management. As a customer who has spent thousands of dollars here, I would have thought my dissatisfaction mattered. It does not. They don't care if the treatments actually work. They will argue with you and refuse to provide contact info for anyone in management. Now they are punishing me for sharing my concern by dragging out this appointment. The front desk woman kept wanting to argue with me, telling me that I needed to be quiet and listen to her. As I expressed that I didn't have time to keep talking about the same thing over and over, she rolled her eyes numerous times, then told me it would be AT LEAST another 30 minutes before my treatment would be done. When I asked for the managers contact information, I was told they do not provide that information. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!!!! go to Morpheus in Greenbrae or PowerMD, or really ANYWHERE else. Don't get sucked in with their Groupon deal. This place only wants your money and couldn't care less about your results, your time, or you as a person. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE FRONT DESK PERSON!!!!!! I've had 2 negative Botox and Juvederm experiences here. Many of the nurses are inexperienced and not good. With injectables, that means significant mistakes. A botox treatment I had left me with one eyebrow arching oddly. I had to make a second appointment to have it fixed. The prices are good, so I tried again with Juevderm. The nurses' hand was shaking - I have a lot of bruising now and lumps. I've been using Juvederm for 12 years and this is the worst experience I've had. The only exception to this review is if you get an appointment with Stephanie. She is very skilled. Otherwise I would not recommend going here for any injectable. read more

Fine lines AND dark spots are visibly leaving this tired old face! Bianca was my nurse last Sunday. (YES - they have SUNDAY appointments!) She was SO sweet and very knowledgeable! ok ill start by saying this place was insane. lol so I went for a consiltation which was a waste of my time. I don't know the receptionists name but she took me to the backroom and measured my tattoos one 5 inch the other 33 inches. idk how she measured the rosary I wanted to removed at 33inches because it was 25inches. so anyways this woman did not explain anything to me BUT this will cost $7000. and I'm going to need 10 sessions. NEED 10 sessions. she didn't bother to gather the specific details of the tattoos - like the color and quality of the ink, and the location of the tattoo. Just $7000 and offered financing. so I told her thank you and walked out with huge smile on face. I highly recommend asking for Shila, she's the fill in technician from Walnut Creek... she works on Saturdays. I was very displeased with the Novato technicians! I bought eight laser hair removal treatment sessions for lower body at the Novato branch. I scheduled these sessions on Sundays since I work full time. The first 5 sessions were performed by highly incompetent technicians that were speeding through the entire session and finishing it up to 30 minutes ahead of time. During the session, the technicians were moving the laser so quickly that I would hear it click only once but they had already passed over a 5-6 cm skin length area. I addressed my concerns with the technician and started to watch what they are doing for quality control. I remember that one of them pushed back saying that, "I am making her uncomfortable that I am watching her work." I rescheduled one session to Saturday where I met up with the manager and shared my experience. She gave new instructions to the technician and the session was done flawlessly, I came to learn that this technician wasn't a Novato Tech but she worked at the Walnut Creek branch and she came to help out on the weekends. I scheduled my last remaining 2 sessions with her and they were amazing. As happy as I was with Shila, I was equally saddened because I felt I was robbed out of my money for the first 5 sessions. I had paid for a service that I didn't get! I spoke to the manager again and she gave me one complimentary session for my buttocks area and not the entire lower body that I had initially purchased. I keep receiving calls for promotions on Touch Up sessions being discounted. I wouldn't need touch up if my initial sessions were performed by competent techs. I have seen results of laser hair removal treatments on people and that is what encouraged me to go and get them. My only advice is for you to get them at the Walnut Creek branch or ask for Walnut Creek techs and not the Novato techs. read more

This place is top notch! I made an appointment with Nadia who suggested the Novato location for their great medical technicians. The few times I've gotten injection procedures I've been a bit nervous. What if something goes wrong? She suggested I schedule with Alexa, who has tons of experience with Botox and wouldn't let me down! From the minute I walked in the door the staff was super welcoming and got me registered quick. Nadia took me to a private office where they did a comprehensive medical screening. That was the first time any office has ever performed this - seems like an important thing to do! Nadia asked if I wanted her to come in with me while Alexa did my injections. I accepted her offer gladly! She even let me squeeze her hand when my childlike fear of needles kicked in! Haha. Alexa knew exactly what she was doing and there was very little pain. I was thrilled there were no noticeable needle marks or puffiness after about an hour! I have been meaning to write this full detailed review for awhile, so please bare with me as I go through my experience :) OK, for starters, I am a complete and total wuss when it comes to waxing so when I was finally brave enough to even consider a consultation, I was terrified of laser hair removal. I have struggled for years with my body hair. As a kid, people would pull on my arm hair trying to pull it out and they would say I was disgusting because of my Chewbacca arms. I wasn't quite ready to say goodbye to my Chewbacca arms (the look on young girls' faces are so precious when they realize they will be OK in life as they grow up--no 6 year old should be worried about their appearance...not yet at least) so I decided to do my armpits and brazilian. Small areas I thought would be better to start with. Amy was amazing. She was so patient with me. She answered EVERY question, pulled all the numbers for me; what I would have to pay today, monthly payments, etc. She broke down the packages and what would be best for me and my goals. She calmed my nerves too! They had an opening after my consultation and I was beyond hesitant as I wasn't sure I was really ready to experience the procedure. When she told me I'd handle it like a pro since I had been waxing for over 5 years regularly and that armpits and brazilian would take 15 minutes of less, I was sold. She made my appointment, I was cleared for my first procedure and off I went with the tech. The rooms are so clean. It does smell like burning hair like from a hair straightener, but what do you expect? It's laser hair removal, duh. My technician was so amazing, nice, and made sure I knew where everything was for the robe process. I felt comfortable with her and she gave me a fair warning before starting the procedure. She told me if my pain felt anything more than a 5/10 to let her know and we could take a break at anytime. Whatever I needed. I thought armpits would be an easy breeze. Ladies. That was the most painful area for me. I was at a 5-6 out of the 10 pain scale. I got through it without any breaks, but wow! My arm was shaking for that thing, but I will say it was worth it as I have not had a single hair grow back in that area. My brazilian was way less painful. At most it was a 3/10 for pain. It had been about two weeks since my last wax appointment so not much hair had grown back, but I have noticed that the hairs are growing back, but then falling out!! Such an odd sight to see, but I love it as it means treatment is working! I got my first treatment done in April 2019 and I cannot wait until my next visit!! read more

I've been going to LaserAway for Botox treatments and after talking with one of the nurses, I decided to book an appointment for lip filler. As someone who isn't so fond of needles, I was extremely nervous, however, Abby made me feel so comfortable! Definitely definitely recommend LaserAway for all your hair removal needs! LaserAway is conveniently located in the Vintage Oaks plaza across the parking lot from Ross and on the same strip as Starbucks. Parking can be a bit of a pain sometimes though. The office is super cute with the pink walls and simple decor. The rooms where you get the laser treatments done in are really clean too. When you go in for your treatment everything is very straight forward and depending on the area, you can be in and out of your appointment within less than 30 minutes. People tend to be a bit scared because they are worried about the pain but it's truly not bad at all. The heal time is like painless so I totally forgot after I get my treatments. LaserAway also has deal packages all the time too, so you will always get a good deal with them vs other places. (-1 star) For the Asian receptionist (Amber? April? What ever...) No smile, no small chit chat, NOTHING! She always has an RBF (resting b***h face) all the time! How are you supposed to be the first face guest see but never look happy? Do you hate your job? Because you sure look like it... I also hate the way she talks. It just sounds so condescending. She has never once greeted me when I've come in either. Isn't greeting guests part of being a receptionist? I once asked her for pricing for laser treatment for another area and she just seemed like she didn't want to help me all. The way she answered my questions sounded so rude... I thought being a receptionist means you greet guests, help them with what ever questions they have, help sell packages and actually be nice to the people that come in. after a few sessions of Brazilian and underarm, I have definitely seen patches of hair which is good because it shows me the growth of the hair is slowing down the only problem I had is that my hair was still pretty course. The previous nurse that did my laser hair removal was Sarah and she recommended me to get zapped with the strongest one to reduce the course hair but none of the other nurses recommended so I'm a little disappointed to find out after several sessions I was told that. Then again grateful because Sarah recommended me it, I for sure recommend to have her treat y'all for your sessions! read more

I've been going here for xeomin and laser hair removal and now I'm about to start Cool Sculpting. The rooms are immaculate and the technicians clearly know what they're doing. They take their time with you assessing exactly what you need before they pop the needle in so you don't end up with a result you don't want. Believe me, I have had some seriously bad experiences in the past with technicians who didn't care how the end result turned out... total churn and burn. This place is not like that. I'd also like to mention Sabrina personally. She is a coordinator there and has been super helpful. She even let me contact her with questions off the clock! She wasn't pushy trying to sell me anything I don't need, she just let me know how to get the best deal for what I want to do. The pricing is competitive and they have a lot of technicians so it's not too difficult to get an appointment, although you have to wait a bit longer now because they have to space appointments out more due to COVID restrictions. Buyer be aware. During my second appointment for removal of tiny tattoo dots resulting from cancer radiation treatment, I was informed that it takes 10 treatments to remove tattoos regardless of the size, not three visits as I was informed when I first agreed to the treatment. It isn't that the tattoo dots are difficult to remove, it just takes that long. No one told me. Three would be all I needed when I first began this journey. Not even during the first removal treatment was I informed of the real number treatments required. No one examined my "dots" before I signed up, yet this was the information provided. Great. My cancer radiation tattoos as are gone in three treatments! Not true. The clinician was puzzled why anyone would suggest that three treatments is all that is needed. It takes 10 visits (and more money). This is a bait and switch tactic as far as I am concerned. Someone got a commission and met their "goals" for the day. If I could give zero stars, I would do that. read more
