I had been a client at Envie for some time and was initially satisfied with my results. Unfortunately, my experience changed significantly when I attempted to redeem promotional offers that had been advertised and purchased. I was charged twice for the same service, and when I brought the issue to the attention of the owner, Deanne, the interaction became extremely unprofessional. I was spoken to harshly and dismissed rather than helped. This was after already waiting over 30 minutes for my appointment. What concerned me most was that my card on file was charged again for a service I had already paid for. When I followed up repeatedly regarding the duplicate charge and the promotional balance I believed I was owed, I received inconsistent explanations and was ultimately told that I was not owed anything. The core issue is that the promotional offers I purchased were not honored as advertised. I have copies of the original email promotions and receipts documenting my purchases, yet the terms of the promotions were later disputed. I was also sent an invoice indicating a refund amount that did not match what I had actually paid, and no corresponding refund was received. At this point, I am pursuing the matter through the Better Business Bureau and the appropriate state board. I strongly encourage anyone considering treatments there to consider another clinic or at the very least keep detailed records of all promotions, receipts, and communications. Based on my experience, I would not advise proceeding with this clinic. read more

I had by far the worst experience with Diane. Not only was she incredibly rude and unprofessional, she made me feel very unsafe. My appointment was at 11am. I arrived at 10.59am. I did not get there 10 mins earlier to numb which I apologized for, but I was not late. She claimed I had a negative face when she said dissolving would be 100$ which I did not, but I STILL APOLOGIZED if she took it in any other way. She was upset that I was unhappy with my lips and wanted to dissolve them. She claimed " in her 20 years of practice she had never gotten anyone who wanted to dissolve" I apologized again, but I explained I just was unhappy with the migration I the lip filler. She continued to be rude and not take any kind of time of care to proceed with the procedure. Then she rudely said " go out there so you can numb more because I am not running behind for this" ANY GOOD SERVICE PROVIDER SHOULD HAVE MORE TIME SET ASIDE FOR CLIENTS. 15min back to back is not sufficient. Regardless of the numbing time, I constantly felt rushed. In fact maybe that's why my lips migrated to begin with, the last time it also felt rushed. I asked a question about other dissolving and she snapped, and said I shouldn't get anything done at all. After we continued to dissolve my lips, she reminded me that it was very expensive product to waste time ( keep in mind I had never said anything about the price, ) After all her rude comments. I finally stood up for myself and said. " I am sorry you felt any kind of way but those were never my intentions. All I wanted was to fix something I was unhappy with , and I did say to her, with tears after she was so mean, "I think you should try to practice what you preach"( if you don't know she has all these kind ness and zen posters I her office) she is all about spirituality and kindness but she is NOT KIND. I have never written a yelp review. I support small businesses, and understand that sometimes our experiences can not always be 100%. With that said, I had the most surreal experience at Envie Spa with Deanne yesterday, I have got to speak up. I've seen Deanne a number of times on and off over a period of several years. I currently live in Oakland and traveled all the way to Petaluma see her yesterday. I think she does a good job. I also appreciate the fact that she's a nurse. I've always supported RNs. I've heard Deanne complain about other clients in the past-they don't appreciate her deals, that they don't say thank you, and that they expect her to work for free. Even though we've had, what I considered to be a fun client/provider relationship, that all seemed to have never been the case when I arrived yesterday. When I arrived, I greeted her smiling happy to be there. I could tell immediately that there was something wrong with her. I didn't take it personally, sometimes we have bad days. But she immediately took it out on me. I went into the treatment room, and I asked her how many units of Botox I had available. I typically take advantage of her excellent deals, but never have received a record of my purchases. I've always trusted her, so never really questioned or asked for an invoice of my purchases. She was offended. She was immediately defensive, accusing me of not being appreciative of the good deals that she offers. I told her I was just inquiring as to what I had available on the books. And then she snapped at me and told me you bought 55 units for $550 and you have $100 for your birthday credit. She then went on to say in an accusatory manner that she wanted to make some money, and not be in the negative at the start of the day, "if you don't mind". In an effort to be kind and understanding, and to appease her, I told her, I don't have to use the $100 birthday credit, that I can save that for another time. With hostility, she said, no I'm just going to go ahead and refund you the $100'and you can go somewhere else next time. With that she walked out of the room for I don't know five minutes maybe 10 minutes, and came back and immediately started injecting me very quickly with Botox. It hurt, and she didn't seem to care. She didn't say a word. It was like nothing I've ever experienced with her before.bShe was mad and took her anger out on me. I felt violated, and scared. I asked her, are you OK? What's going on? She let me have it. She told me that I was expecting her not to make any money, that I wanted more and more for free, that I never say thank you and that I am ungrateful. It was like those words were meant for someone else, not for me! None of it made sense. She told me not to come back. I was shocked, and went out to my car and cried. I didn't know what happened. I am still reeling. Now I am reading these other reviews, and see that I am not alone in my experience. I feel sorry for her. I don't hold grudges, I am a forgiving person. Per her insistence, I won't return. Oh. and I didn't get the refund for the $100 by the way. Good luck Deanne. read more

This is the most despicable place iv ever been to. My appointment was for under eye filler and Botox between my eyebrows. While sitting in the waiting room Deanna tells me that my appointment was for Botox and she wants to know where I reminded her that not only Botox but under eye filler I made this all clear over text messages bf making the appointment. We proceeded to confirm where the Botox first was going between my eyebrows and around my lips . She numbed me under my eyes that's where the filler was going and she numbed my eyebrows and lip area for the Botox. After she numbed me I was curious if she thought I needed the filler under my eye so I asked her she became very hostile and snapped at me back with she said " if you don't know if you need it then your not getting it done" I tried defending myself and she said she wasn't going to do it she didn't feel comfortable with me. I was insulted and she made me feel shamed. And told me she's only doing Botox today on me. In the room she wiped off all the number under my eyes and around my mouth where I was supposed to get Botox then quoted the price for 20 units of Botox @ 13 dollars a unit to do just eyebrows I didn't trust her by now and told her I only wanted 10 units while she was getting it ready I'm thinking by now that she rubbed of my mouth area where I was suppose to get Botox I felt she was cruel by doing that act and I got up off the chair and told her forget it I know another place I'd be more happier to spend my money on Botox on then this horrifying oppressed experience I just had gone through she has no empathy whatsoever I'm going to Laser Away for Botox 10 a unit. I came to Envie Skin & Body after my coworker recommended seeing Deanne for lip filer. The whole experience was amazing. The office is really cute and clean, parking is east. No waiting time, I was seen right at my appointment time . I had some numbing cream on for a bit before she started working on my lips. The least painful lip filer experience I've ever had. She gives you the option for ice or a vibrating tool to put on your chin to distract from the pain. She made them symmetrical and look so natural with a little extra plump. I don't normally write reviews, but based on what I'm reading here felt compelled to weigh in to set the record straight. I've tried aestheticians in Napa, Sonoma, Sta Rosa, SF, and Kentfield. Simply put, Deanne is the best and worth the 45 minute drive from Napa to see her. She is very knowledgeable and thorough, and offers great online specials. She respects her clients' time, and expects that they respect hers in turn. She is more than fair working with clients for an abberant issue, however, no business can survive clients who are habitually late or no-shows, impacting other client's time. This is not unreasonable at all, and is standard practice at all other spa/med spas. She's a direct, strong woman which I appreciate, and it's sad to me that her behavior is being attacked here when it would be applauded in a man. I have been seeing Deanne for about 4 years. I was so nervous to get Botox and she immediately made me feel comfortable. Deanne vows to always make things right. If you aren't happy with the result she will do what she can to make sure you are happy with your results. For example, one time one of my eyebrows sat higher than the other and she was quick to correct free of charge. Another thing I love about Deanne is she is not eager to inject. She really believes in a natural approach and isn't in it for the money. In the past I've suggested certain things and often she will say no! I love that about her. Unhinged . That's the word someone else here used to describe Deanne and it is 100% accurate. Be very careful here. There is something not right. She is not great at what she does, results will vary greatly. And to top it off you have to listen to her complain about other clients, how much money she makes, who is suing her, the list goes on and on and on. A very volatile person. One time she went on a tirade about how vaccine injections were killing people as she stood with a needle (i.e. an injection) an inch from my face. My advice is steer clear. There's a reason her prices are so low. Not worth the risk. You can do better. read more
