At first, things were going well...until I decided to take a few days to think about everything I was told during my consultation. Then there was the follow up call, text and email. I had to take a sudden flight out of state to deal with family stuff, which I shared with Tara. You would think or assume that meant space. NOPE!!!! I had to finally send this: "Given my current situation with an ailing parent, scheduling a laser appointment is not something I can prioritize right now. I was hoping for a bit more understanding and space during this time. The continued outreach is a bit much." Absolutely sad that I had to send this via text to her. I have gone to the Roseville location since 2021 and have spent well over 10K with them. Now the service has gone downhill fast. Below is the email convo with the director simply put it's been 4 weeks and I still have not received a partial refund. Another issue that the front staff/phone staff are being trained to dodge referring the customer to Rafla. You can't reach her as they dilbertly constantly say she is busy, in a meeting, not there ir whatever. Then I was just accused of being harrassing and told I was cutting Nico off when I asked simply not in a yell or anything who is in charge when Rafla is not there. All of a sudden Nico switched as if I did something to her to create a false narrative when from the beginning of the call I told Nico I was not going through the story with her and only wanted Rafla's bosses information which was refused over and over as I told "I already told you Rafla would look into this, what else do you need". What customer service. Nico you insert yourself in something then can not handle it when you are being pressed to do your JOB and provide customer service! Simple as that. Buyer beware. I would not recommend cool sculpting for these locations. You pay thousands of dollars and then they never have availablity to do the appts. Because the appts are so long they don't have many slots for customers. Mine just got canceled today after waiting over a month for an appt cut to a nurse calling in sick. Here is the absolute truth about this place: Outdated & Useless Machines: This was my second round of laser treatments, and I got absolutely ZERO results from their ineffective, outdated equipment and systems. My $4,000 was completely wasted. Horrific & Irresponsible Customer Service: Their customer service is completely irresponsible, and reaching them is practically impossible. When you call, they transfer you to a hundred different people, pass you around, and finally say they will call you back. If you miss their call, they will never answer again; it goes straight to a voicemail that they deliberately keep full so no one can leave a message. Unethical Business Practices & Pure Unfairness: I tried multiple times to resolve this privately. Out of my 8 sessions, I didn't even use the sessions for my arms. I'm very sad to say I just had a very unpleasant phone call with a woman named Linda. I was calling to get a consultation to figure out pricing and package deals. I had already previously called around to other places and everyone's pricing was about the same. I was absolutely going to go through with laser away until the end of my phone call with Linda. As soon as I said, I would give her a call back after I finished calling other places to check other places she got very angry and her tone completely changed. I have come to laser away in Folsom/Sacramento, and everywhere I've gone everyone is super friendly, and the nurses that have assisted me with my Botox, lip fillers and laser hair removal have been very professional and done a great job. They run a lot of really good specials, It's almost impossible to find good places that do a good job with Botox that's anywhere near $10 a unit. Most places are like $13-$14 a unit, even though the cost of Botox has not increased. I also like the fact that everyone that works Behind the counter in the back on clients are all nurses. I've been to some med spas where the women were not nurses and they were giving Botox and injections, using lasers, etc. While I will admit sometimes the sales aspect can feel a little bit pushy, I just try to handle that as graciously as I can lol. I started my treatment in the a different location so I had already experienced the level of customer service that other locations offered which was excellent. Coming to the Roseville Location, I expected the same level of service. Every single time I went to this location, 4 times total they were always running 30-45 min behind, the final straw for me was when I had to leave because I was going to miss my movie (I had theatre thickets for the movie theatre at the mall) and the receptionist said she would talk to her manager about a discount or something because even she realized they were always late with me and I never got it. The next time I came in they were late again. It's a waste of time and inconsiderate to the paying customer. I have not finished my treatment. read more

I purchased a laser hair removal package from LaserAway in early 2023 after visiting my OBGYN for a painful post-waxing ingrown hair. She asked if I had ever considered laser hair removal, pulled the leg of her scrubs up to her knee, and said: "Feel my legs, I haven't shaved in 6 months!" No joke... and the rest is history. As the year comes to a close, I've completed 5 of 8 sessions and am already seeing such great results. From my initial phone call with Sunshine, to setting up financing with Ally, to the beautiful gals at the front desk who calmed my nerves before my first appointment and make me feel welcome at every subsequent visit, to the kind and knowledgeable treatment nurses... the entire process has been first class! Cosmetic procedures can be tricky, and results variable, especially laser hair removal. Is your hair coarse or thin? Light or dark? Is your skin fair or tan? Sensitive or not? Even as a pretty ideal candidate (dark, coarse hair + fair skin) who follows aftercare instructions religiously, my skin is still so oddly sensitive that every treatment leaves me with a pretty severe case of folliculitis, aka laser bumps. They go away, but it makes for an uncomfortable 5-7 days after treatment. The LaserAway nurses have taken this really seriously by having me come in for a follow up exam, taking photos to add to my profile, calling me in the days after to check in, etc. I recently moved out of the area, and am still making the 90 min drive to Roseville because I trust LaserAway and am seeing the results I want. You also need to be concerned with the machine. Did they buy it straight from the manufacturer or is it refurbished ( they should never buy refurbished as this is where you'll have issues) and are they constantly keeping up with the updates? You have to make sure they have the FLX platform!!! Only go to a doctor not a MedSpa! HUGE RED FLAG if they say buy one get one. If they have a new machine with proper platform, updates etc you will not need another one for years!!! They had the settings way too high and melted my fat and therefore there was no tightening whatsoever. When the settings are too high it hurts so bad as well and the nurse should've know by my reaction to turn it down, but she did not. I was not educated until after so again, no MedSpa treatments ever again. read more

I waited 5 months to write this review because I was trying to be optimistic and wait the 2-3 months they told me it would take to "heal". It's been 5 months and I'm not healed. I have permanent hypopigmentation on not one- but both of my legs. Before my last treatment I would have given 4-5 stars. I received IPL facial treatments and laser hair removal treatments for my legs, underarms and Brazilian. The IPL was painful and made my face swell up at one treatment. I wouldn't do it again as I don't think the results were worth the pain but- overall that was fine. I had excellent hair removal results as well.... All until my last treatment. Towards the end of my last treatment the last area she did was the back of my calves. It burned unusually at the time which I thought was odd but not unbearable enough to ask her to stop. However once I got in my car I can only explain the pain as FIRE and needles on the back of my legs. It hurt so badly I started crying and had to pull over I could barely drive. When I made it home I realized the back of my legs were burned so badly that I had dime sized burns on the back of both of my legs. I called and made an appointment for to see a nurse there. I was told it was my fault and that I had sun exposure prior to my appointment. I was shocked. That was completely false as I followed all of the recommended pre and post treatment instructions. She even said "well I looked at your before pictures and your legs are darker now so you must have been tanning". Of course my legs were darker than my before pictures which were taken months before.... It was SUMMER time, but I did NOT have direct sun exposure in the time it said not to before treatment. If I had sun exposure I wouldn't have just been burned in the specific last spots she did it would have been all over my legs. So after blaming it on me she also said "well I'm sure you know you signed a waiver" and basically just told me to use Vaseline and that they would microcrust, scab, and most importantly GO AWAY in 2-3 months. It's been 5 months and they have not gone away. I now just live with this permanent damage and have to constantly answer questions when people at the gym, at the pool on vacation or anytime I wear a dress or shorts ask me what happened to my legs. I literally cannot count how many people have brought it up. I can't even forget about it if I wanted to unless I just wear pants for the rest of my life because people constantly say "what happened to your legs?". No accountability and no remedy. I regret ever doing laser hair removal here and would never get any treatment from them again. I sought medical advice from my primary doctor after and 2 other med spas and they all said the laser was too high at the end and burned my skin. I have a friend who got a facial treatment here and her face ballooned until her eyes were swollen shut and they took no accountability for that either... but I'll let her tell her own story. I warn you - Take your money (and your precious body) elsewhere. read more

So I started with Laseraway since 2020 for Laser hair removal. I maxed out the machine settings within like 4 appointments. I also stopped seeing results around that time. I bought about 8 sessions for full body for around $6k which ended being such a rip off bc of the fact that their machine wont go past 17 joules and I stopped seeing results. I ended up going to another place that had a more updated version of the cynosure machine to actually have results I wanted. I wasn't even that upset about the lack of results from the Laser hair removal what absolutely turned me away from LASERAWAY IS THE FOLLOWING: The last straw was when I went in for lip filler this last time in January 2023. I was severely cut and left with scarring to both lips. I contacted customer service and spoke to the lead nurse. I was told that I must have cut myself with the ice pack THEY gave me after my fillers. However, during the treatment I did tell the nurse I was feeling burning (despite having numbing cream for 30 mins prior to injections). As soon as I got in my car I saw the cuts and open areas. I messaged them immediately and was contacted the next day but was told to go see the lead nurse at the roseville location. I did go see her. Although she was a nice person, she told me that she "has seen worse cuts and puncture wounds from injections and they healed fine." It did not make me feel heard or even seen bc I am the one that has to walk around with these lips. My concerns were scarring. I was assured that I wouldn't have scarring. NOW I do. They didn't even try to make the situation better with an apology or even a compensation. I spent about $1300 on lip filler and now I don't ever want filler again. I went in for Clear and Brilliant. I already have a potential for melasma. The place I tried before locally burned my skin on the 3rd visit...and it took all the rest of my 5 bundle sale to attempt to fix it. After all of those treatments...there were no improvements. It's been a year since I tried Clear and Brilliant and came across laser away. I had a visit with Amy in Roseville and she was sweet, knowledgeable and patient. After hearing my past experiences from a different esthetic beauty place wasn't as great, and her knowledge of my Asian skin challenges, she was gentle and suggested a more slow rather than aggressive treatment to correct the melasma caused by burns from the other place. It's my first visit with laser away and I was impressed with the experience and treatment received. Also....this is even better. The front desk ladies are sweet. They are welcoming and friendly. However, be careful mentioning you may be interested in another service. They will text you (sometimes multiple people hours apart from each other) trying to get you to purchase a deal on the spot. I started going to the Palladio location before the Roseville location was finished. After one appointment, Roseville opened up and I quickly started going there. The nurses were great, knowledgeable, and patient. After all my sessions, 3 additional sessions, and following every single instruction they gave me, I still am having to shave every week/2 weeks. I was told I would see results as my hair wasn't coarse or dark or anything. Then I went in for Botox. Before my first appointment I was sent an email stating all the Do's and Don'ts for before. This was sent less than 24 hours before, yet there were things it said not to do 24 hours before. NONE of this was explained or mentioned when they took my money and booked my first appointment. I called and Taylor was so sweet and explained it all to me. For someone who had NOTHING done before laser hair removal, which I stated to the sales fuel many tie, you'd think they would mentioned something like don't drink coffee before, don't drink alcohol, don't take Tylenol, etc. Fast forward to first appointment... I started light with just upper face. Then this last appointment I was told they could do lower face and lip flip. I was hesitant and nervous, but the nurse was confident I would love it and assured me she had done hundreds of them at her old job. I got 6 units in my upper lip and 2 weeks later...nothing. Now, I understand everyone is different and these injections can affect everyone differently, however when I called and emailed asking next steps (as they state you can come in for "touch ups"), I was never called back from the nurse who responded to my email. I was sent an email from someone at corporate explaining how they can't do anything because everyone is different and they don't guarantee results. Then the next day I received not one, but two of the above mentioned text messages telling me prices were going up and asking if I wanted to buy $1000 worth of packages that night. Via text message. No thanks! Location is great. Staff is friendly and gives you all the compliments so you feel good. The laser isn't effective and far overpriced compared to another spa in the area. She checked me in, answered any questions, showed me around the facility, and really went out of her way to make a genuine connection. Knowing that I'll be back for 7 more sessions in the coming months, that meant so much! My RN was easy to talk to and made the process quick and comfortable. She answered all of my questions and made the procedure stress-free. I get sugared every 4 weeks, and facials with extractions regularly, and this was honestly painless. All I felt was cold air on my skin, with an occasional twinge. My nurse compared it to a rubber band snap, but for me it wasn't even that extreme. The worst bad experience I had with Andrea was unprofessional, doesn't have any knowledge about customer support, I was asking her for some information that I need in my treatment and she was acting rude, and unprofessional, she didn't provide the support needed.
