Shawn did such a great job!!! I got jawline filler since slight weight gain made me feel insecure about it, and both sides weren't even. Shawn was carefully listening to me, which I really appreciate. She was so gentle, answered all the questions that popped into my head during, and made sure everything felt as comfortable as possible! Update! My eyelids are now hitting my cheekbones! Sagging drooping and I keep waiting for it to wear off but it just keeps getting worse Updated review after Botox/dysport... I have been doing Botox for over 15 years and have had many many good administrators who know where to inject the Botox so that it will not make your eyelids droop. If you Google Botox eyelids drooping there are several diagrams in the four head for point of injection to stop the eyelids from drooping or not caused them to droop! I have had Botox from Michelle before, so I know she knows how to do it, but either put too much this time or didn't inject the correct sides and made my eyelids droop so much that I can barely work! When I called the office today this is the message that they left me... Hi Jeannette, I'm out of town. My office is forwarding this message to you. I'm so sorry your lids feel heavy. The fact that they are better in the morning is good. This usually resolves within about 14 days. The Dysport is trying to work too well on your forehead, but your muscles are fighting it. It can be worse when you're tired or if you have any alcohol. This is usually short lived. There is nothing I can do to lift them. Adding Dysport increases the risk of the heaviness lasting longer. Try to be positive and get through a few more days. It will resolve...fingers crossed it occurs quickly. So I don't drink or do any other bad things to my body besides Botox LOL. I am in shock of the answer of that the office gave me because I can barely see my computer at work because my eyelids are drooping so bad! Is there a negative star option? Went here to pick up obagi product. The woman at the front was super rude and clearly didn't know what she was doing. Didn't even know how to apply the points for obagi. I had to show her so that another customer could get their points as well. Other staff, whether it be "nurses" or whatever they are, were rude as well. They walked by and were very unhelpful. I wouldn't go there again to purchase products, even for a deal. Just... Wow. The photo I posted was from a SilkPeel... A type of dermabrasion. This was the worst spot but you can see on my lower jaw line where there are more abrasions. My mom is a (certified, non practicing) esthetician, and she was appalled by this. Any type of dermabrasion should not leave "road rash" on ones face. I went to my dermatologist the next day on a walk in basis when I woke up and saw my face like this, and she said that the person who did this procedure was obviously not properly trained. I had an appointment for a brown spot laser prior to this facial that I could not keep due to finances, but now I see that as a blessing. If the staff (owner) is unable to perform a dermabrasion treatment properly, I cant even imagine what a laser treatment would have been like. I never expected my face to look like I had skid across pavement, and in fact, could find NO cases that reported abrasions from ANY type of dermabrasion treatment. This tells me the staff are improperly trained. Buyer beware.... read more

Tighten It Spa - "Road rash" from a SilkPeel.... - Medical Spas Near Me - Roseville, California

Unfortunately, their deals are not as good as you might think. Their ads are fun to read, and you think you're going to be getting a sweet deal. However, upon closer inspection, what you are really getting is diluted products and/or injections of lidocaine. After 16 treatments of laser hair removal, and still zero result (other than scarring that has yet to go away), the owners agreed to give me Juvederm to fix my nasolabial folds as a concession for the time and expense involved in my laser hair removal treatments. My nasolabial folds are as prominent as ever and after a trip to my dermatologist who informed me that there is no evidence that I've ever had filler injected into my face, I'm convinced that this business is a sham. I first became suspicious when one of their former employees encouraged me get botox elsewhere, as she felt TIS Botox had been watered down. I was skeptical and didn't want to believe her, because Tighten It Spa always offers good deals, and convenient hours at a convenient location. However, after multiple trips to Tighten It for "touch ups" it became evident and undeniable that there's a reason Botox and Dysport only lasts 3 weeks when you have it done by TIS. Finally, after a consultation with the owner followed up by an email sent to the Doctor who heads up the spa, with not even a response, I am forced to make sure others know what they are getting when they go to Tighten It Spa. An update to my original post: A quick internet search will give you more information than you ever wanted to know about their chief nurse and owner Michelle Williams. Several lawsuits against her involving burns (likely similar to what I am experiencing) and issues related to who-knows-what being injected into their faces. Watch out for this place. :( read more

i purchased 6 vela shape procedures and 2 of the 1540 facial resurfacing procedures. in regards to the 1540 (over 2000$ spent because the above procedures were on special). i was informed that my face would be red and that it would look like a waffle machine had been placed on my skin. then informed my skin would sluff off and my fine wrinkles, pores, and skin tone would be much better (KEEP IN MY MIND I AM 28 and by no means have horrible skin). i had the first facial done in feb and the second in march.. my face peeled like i was informed but then it became more and more hyper-pigmented. i informed the owner (michelle) of my concern and she said i must have had this issue before i came in for the facial. i said no but wasn't going to argue till i went home and found pics of me before. she informed me i could purchase the obagi bleaching cream and it would help with this issue (80ish dollars). The obagi bleaching cream helped out drastically but i still have waffle marks on my face. in regards to the vela shape. i have minimal cellulite but was excited since i have minimal to see a change. i ended up receiving 7 treatments to my thighs and 6 treatments to my butt and i can say there has been no change. i feel like my entire experience has been poor. the staff members were all very nice but results are what i wanted not blotchy skin and waffles imprinted on my face. if anyone wants to see the before and after let me know. I found photos of my before and after for all above procedures and sent them to michelle's Assistant and asked her to forward them on to michelle and have her contact me. * NEVER HEARD ANYTHING. :( read more

Salon decor on point & clean. I had the Palomar 1540 fractional laser done by one of the RNs there, Maria. She's an absolute doll. Honestly I was terrified to laser my face, especially with all of the mixed reviews out there. But, it wasn't bad at all...I'm slightly red/swollen but that's to be expected. And - my skin is super smooth!! She used a level 3 in me because my skin is a medium/olive tone. It's likely a lot of the negative reviews for this procedure come from having the treatment done by the wrong person. So far super happy with my results. I had the pleasure of getting a facial treatment with Bettina today. I'd won it at a silent auction fundraiser for ROSEVILLE High School. Bettina is one of the most kind hearted, genuine people I've ever met. She inspected my skin carefully, asked me pertinent questions and spent 2 hours on my treatment. I've had a lot of stress and hormonal changes lately of which are evident on my skin. She did dermaplaning (I think that's what is was called) and a light peel. She coached me through proper skin care and didn't try to sell a bunch of products. She sent me home with a little container of ointment to use on my skin while it was recovering from the treatment. When I went to tip her she tried not to accept it but I insisted. She asked me to drop back by at the end of the week so she can see how my skin responded to the treatment.
