Be very careful office staff are rude. They don't do surgeries. They just prescribe lotions, very put it in neutral. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. I stopped in and they referred me to somewhere else down the road because they did not offer the services that I was looking for. I had thought it was a good start. I filled out the paperwork and then realized that it was the wrong kind of doctor. They referred me to another place charged me $50 and then sent me to collections. Really bad business I've called attempted to talk to the Dr Office manager. No one will return my phone calls or messages but I did get a phone call from a collection agency wanting $50. Extremely rushed and rude front desk and insurance coordinator! I just left Roseville Dermatology after being told they would not accept the coverage from either of my insurance carriers. This despite my son being treated earlier in the day under one of the same plans. I was informed it was because they could not determine which insurance company was my primary. Again, my son was seen earlier in the day??? They did give me the option of paying out of pocket; however, they made me feel it wasn't worth my time so I decided to cancel. I contacted Roseville Dermatology for skin tag removal. I said I was going to pay the $150 cash to have the process done. I was then told to provide my insurance information to see if it would be covered. They told me my insurance would cover it - with a $60 copay if they were sent to the lab to be "checked for cancer". I said fine, great. I paid my $60 had two removed and the doctor said they knew they weren't cancerous but they would be sent to the pathologist so that the insurance would cover it. Fast forward a month, I get a bill that I owe them about another $160. Fine, I paid it. Fast forward again and I just received a $212 bill from the pathologist because the insurance only covered a portion. WHY did they tell me the insurance would cover it if they didn't know that for a fact?! Now, instead of having paid the $150 cash to have up to 15 lesions removed, I'm up to over $400 for two skin tag removals! I am so angry that they scammed me. There's no point in trying to have them correct anything because I know that I will get absolutely nowhere. I called their billing department and of course, nobody is interested in helping me resolve this. Be warned, they will tell you your insurance is going to cover something and it won't! For over $400 I got two stupid skin tags removed. Lesson learned, I'll not be going back there. read more

Not as aggressive for acne and will probably recommend some very expensive products in their retail store next door. I have psoriasis on the soles of my feet. David recommended the PUVA light therapy and a cream. I am already seeing some improvement after 4 sessions. I'm not sure if it's the light sessions, the cream or both but I am Thankful & Grateful. All the Ladies in the front of the office are Polite, Professional, Friendly and Sweet. Knocking on 40's door, I started feeling some kind of way. Asian doesn't raisin, but I suffer from Resting B*tch Face and was starting to get scared that my frown and forehead lines would crease into my skin forever. To ensure that I was taking preventive measures, I started my research. I found Roseville Dermatology by happenstance. I started researching Dr. Ha because I really wanted someone Asian to guide my botox/filler journey. Getting an appointment took forever, but finally happened. At my first appointment I asked Dr. Ha to do all the things... I literally wanted to look brand new (hahaha). Thankfully, Dr. Ha put the breaks on all my great ideas. He looked at my skin and let me know that it was in great condition and that I was beautiful, still young, and didn't need everything I was requesting. He asked what my main concern was, and I explained that I was concerned about my frown lines and forehead. He agreed to botox those areas. I asked him to freeze my forehead so that it wouldn't move. He said no to that too (hahaha). Apparently I'm too expressive that I should have some movement. Which is fine, since I told my husband I had a "Doctors appointment" and didn't know I was getting botox. I got 26 units between my eyebrows and forehead for $14 a unit....which is cheaper than a color and cut :) The botox is supposed to last 3-4 months...which it has. I LOVE my results!!!! The hubs was tracking my location and knew I was not at Kaiser. I took my happy butt home with my slightly bleeding forehead and fessed up. Imma do what I want to do anyways!!! At my next appointment, I asked Dr. Ha about filler as I realllly wanted to add filler to my chin to balance out my face and get a better jawline. He was incredibly informative, gave me the pros and cons, and answered all my questions. However, he still didn't do it. He gave me my botox and had me schedule the filler at my next appointment to make sure its what I wanted. I am really thankful for Dr. Ha pulling in the reins and helping me take things slowly. At any med spa they would have done all the things and I would look like an over-fillered Kylie Jenner. Thank you Dr. Ha for saving me from myself. I finally got the chin filler. I am soooo glad that I waited. It hurt like a b*tch. I had my eyes closed the whole time and was screaming from the inside and questioned my life decisions during the whole procedure. I was provided numbing cream, but it still hurt. Not like labor hurt, but it hurt. I was bruised after BUT I LOVE LOVE my results and LOVE my new chin. You only have to do it once a year. Its been a year. I asked about it today at my appointment, but Dr. Ha said to wait till fall or early next year. I'm dreading that appointment but excited to keep it up. I don't remember how much each vial was for...maybe $600. I've never had problems with customer service. I am always greeted politely and Whitney.. Shout out to Whitney for handling payment and scheduling my next appointments. I love that Whitney will call and let you know about sales on filler and botox so that you pay ahead and your appointments feel free (girl math bc I paid so loong ago). After seeing Dr. Ha for so many years, I'm really disappointed in what has become of this practice. You now see a nurse to determine if you should see a doctor about potential cancer findings. The nurse practitioner was not qualified to freeze any blemish. The phone staff was more informed about procedures! This review is for Shannon (although everyone at the office is great) I had really bad cystic acne and after being on accutane in 2017, the acne went away but I was left with really ugly indented and raised scars on both of my cheeks. I tried a few different lasers at another place and nothing worked, then I met Shannon. She told me that lasers won't work until we fix the scars from the inside. I'm glad I listened to her and gave it a try because what she did for my face is beyond words! I've done a series of 3 treatments of subscision and filler with her. When we asked to pay it because we received a letter stating they couldn't treat her, they said it is out of our hands. So never sent a bill to the Minor Child, but turned her over to collection! On one particular appointment (my the last ever), I had a number of spots I wanted addressed (or removed), drove 30" each way to see Dr Ha, came with a well thought out list but was rushed out of the consultation in 2 minutes. Went there and was treated for some rush. I had that rush before (about 10 years ago?) and was treated very easily and successfully for it at a different office. I moved away since and do not remember how the rush was treated years back but figured it's super simple since my first experience was so smooth...none of the treatments helped and I actually got very itchy using the cream they prescribed-had to stop immediately. The office staff are stuck up, have big heads, and are unfriendly. They take no accountability in that office or care to educate their clients. They take advantage of clients. Molly was very rude and patronizing on the phone and staff seem to do everything they can to keep you from talking to the Dr. Himself. If you use this office anticipate unexpected bills from 3rd parties that your insurance company will not cover. They will not/do not inform you of this during your visit. My daughter was so happy to be getting treatment and now has to stop due to the large and unexpected expenses. I will never use this office again. read more

I saw Nurse Ragen at Roseville Dermatology for my sunspots, which had darkened during pregnancy. I was very self-conscious but after assessing my skin, Ragen was confident that an IPL treatment would significantly lighten my sunspots and even out the pigmentation on my face. Her confidence put me at ease - I was even excited to get my face lasered! Ragen's professionalism, intelligence, and personability made for a delightful treatment and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. My sunspots are much, much lighter (nearly non-existent) and I feel comfortable going out without wearing foundation. Nurse Ragen at Roseville Dermotology is phenomenal. I see her for a variety of needs including Dysport, laser hair removal and product recommendations. Ragen is my fountain of youth and my skin now looks better in my later 30s than it did in my 20s. She is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to make sure I understand the treatments. I'm a baby when it comes to pain but I would let her stick me with 1000 needles because she always makes sure I am comfortable. Dr. Ha and David Haggeman (PA) are the best! It may be difficult at times to get an appointment, but it's worth the wait. They each take personalized one-on-one time with you to do full body checks for any skin abnormalities. Each of them have found Melanoma on my skin, removed it fully, with minimal scaring. She raved about them but I was not so confident at first needing to wait so long for an appointment as a new patient, but they did put me on a waitlist AND called and got me in sooner. (pleasantly surprised) I see Hageman and he is phenomenal. He instantly knew what my issue was with my skin rash. He gave me medicine and told me to see how I did. I saw Ashley for the BEST platinum Diamond Glow facial EVER. Ashley is SO sweet and very thorough in identifying my skin concerns, explaining each step of my treatment and the products used. She answered all of my questions with ease and checked in with me throughout my treatment to make sure my skin was feeling ok and that I was comfortable. She gave me the best facial massage I have ever received. Once my treatment was complete my skin was absolutely glowing and I was beyond relaxed. We chatted about products to achieve my skin goals and then she passed me off to Carly who is equally sweet and knowledgeable. I have noticed a lot of offers on Groupon lately for Facial treatments. Whenever checking these deals out, I usually crosscheck the business with Yelp. Thus far (literally) every business I have checked that is offering a deal either has no reviews or poor reviews, what gives? DagNabit, I really wanted that microdermabrasion that normally costs $499 for ...$19 !?!? Seem too good to be true? You know how the rest of the saying goes. Is it too much to ask that a business be solid and confident enough to offer up a deal to grow their clientele? Then it dawned on me that the top notch companies have made their mark and their books are filled with loyal and referring customers. They don't need to partner with Groupon. I scheduled an appointment today with one of Roseville Dermatology's estheticians, Kelly Beltz. The plan was to do an Acne Extraction Facial but I was open to suggestions. Kelly was incredibly sweet and informative, as she walked me through all of the steps she was taking during my treatment. The appointment took about 35 minutes and consisted of consultation, cleansing, steam, extraction, moisturizing and more consultation. A few highlights of the visit: -Kelly was NOT pushy about selling me product. I left with a few samples and one brochure. The rest is up to me and I like that, I am MORE likely to buy everything that she (gently) suggested. I'm not into someone trash talking my routine/product that I am using and bullying me into spending all of my money. She also wasn't pushy about cementing that next appointment (which I have already set a reminder to schedule). Love it. -She was just friendly, sweet and made me feel comfortable in my currently sketchy skin. I am so glad that Dr Ha suggested I get this treatment done. Everything felt great, it was like a pamper-fest. Well, the extraction wasn't exactly puppy dogs and ice cream but it was totally necessary and I am really glad I did it.
