I really wanted to love this place. It's right next to my house and could get a lot done in one stop. The ladies are friendly...i'm not used to a shop where there is a lot of talking during eyelash fill. There's no taking a nap here so it's just a different experience. Also no one wears a mask. I had henna brows done and somehow the lady used the wrong color and mine were a blondish color. I sent a picture after I left and they refunded the service. I also got a spray tan that was u even and blotchy all over my body. My friends definitely made fun of my spray tan... my hands, feet, arms, legs all streaked all over. Ok so I used to love this place, but they have completely changed their attitude. They are now refusing to honor a package because I canceled a few times well within the provided for cancellation period. They said, oh just call us the day before and we will get you in. That was a lie. They never called me back after I called 3 times. So finally I said, just refund me the package. I have 4 tans left. They lied and said I only had two, then stated they refunded me, but still haven't. I'm filing a complaint with the Secretary of State tomorrow if I don't get my refund. I am absolutely appalled. Happy with this place, the service, the experience, and my tan. Jen did a great job with my spray tan, young girl up front was beyond pleasant, and they offer you cookies! Points.. Now that that is out of the way I was eager to write this review to offer some information that was not given to me in this instance, but I have the knowledge through experience. I got the groupon, which led me to this place I never would have stepped foot in. Needed a last minute spray tan. They offer 2, the Tahitian, and the lava. The groupon for $20 pays for the Tahitian. It was $10 more to upgrade to the lava which I did. It is darker more apparent, still natural, and (as told by receptionist) compliments those with warm skin tones especially. Now I talked to them twice before coming in, once for a confirmation, once because I wanted to know if they provided barrier cream. They suggested I bring my own. This blocks your palms, and in my case, my tattoos. I want my tan, but don't want to hide my art. If you have ever had a spray tan before, most places offer some. If you haven't, I suggest bringing a lotion of your choice, to put over any places you wish to avoid getting a tan. I remove the barrier cream directly after the tan is done, with a towel, careful of not touching my fresh tan, then dry after. This makes my tattoos POP! But you also MUST be careful where you get it because you need clean, dry, shaven skin for the best tan possible. I knew what I was goin into, so I was not worried, but I would suggest that with the confirmation call, more instructions are given on how to receive the best tan possible and help it last as long as possible. PRE-TAN: -SHAVE everywhere you can comfortably. Body hair will hinder the even sleek look of your tan, and when you shave post-spray, you will shave it right off. -EXFOLIATE your skin. This will clean your skin, remove the dead, and open up your pores. Allowing the tan to soak up nicely. -NO lotions, deodorants or perfumes after your wash, pre tan. These can discolor the tan, and block it from sticking to your skin at all. (Other than the intentional barrier cream mentioned which I applied directly before she sprayed me.) POST-TAN: DONT GET WET! This means plan accordingly. No workouts, no mani/pedi's, no swimming, try not to even sweat! Think through what you have going on the rest of the day, for example if you were to get lashes at the same place or somewhere else, I suggest doing it before because the jellies will go under your eyes, and the tape used will strip off the spray tan. Be careful of expensive sheets, or light car interior! Your tan will get on them. (Staying in a hotel?? Bring your own sheets.. they will charge you..) Even after you shower, you have to be careful wearing white. Ahhh the price we pay to like ourselves a little more with that darker shade lol. Jen did a great job, was very patient, made me feel super comfortable. You have the option to be nude or use a disposable g string. They give you a hair net and a towel, and you can take your time drying when you are all done. Tan came out great, I was very cautious because I've made all these mistakes! So trying to pay it forward with a little info. The tan lasted about 4 solid days, started to come off on day 5. Then I look like I have a skin disease. Lmao.. another little piece of info I got from a sweet lash girl, is that the tan they use is not a stain, but a pigment, so if you worry about turning orange, don't. It comes out very natural. My opinion, it looks best after 12-24 hours and a shower. Hope this was helpful! Thanks again ladies. read more

I've been coming here every couple of weeks for almost a year now and every single time, Sharon asks me if I want to change anything and if my lashes have been feeling okay. She is always looking out for my lashes. Like if my natural lashes are looking a little sparse, she will leave some of them alone so they can grow and we will get them the next session. When I had seasonal allergies she asked me if I wanted to use a different glue. There's nothing that beats quality and trust. I bought the Groupon for 3 airbrush tans based upon the Yelp reviews of this business. My goal was to have a pretty, natural tan for my wedding without actual UV damage. I came in for a trial run a few weeks before the big day, and my first impression was positive- the place is clean and the woman who greeted me (later I found to be the owner) was pleasant. I was a few minutes early, so I was offered K-cups while I waited. Unfortunately, that's the end of the great experience. The girl who did my tan left a huge part of my torso (including the top half of my breasts) completely white. It isn't that my skin didn't take the color, she just didn't apply it there. Afterward, she just said "You're good." then left the room. Uh, do I get dressed? Do I wait? What are aftercare instructions? I ended up googling instructions while standing around naked in the room. Awesome. I went back and forth on whether or not I wanted to give them another chance, before deciding I would ask if the manager/owner could have someone else do it. I called and spoke to the owner, who seemed surprised by my experience because the girl who had applied my tan has done "literally a thousand". She said she would have the girl do it again, but this time she would stay in the room with her again. I insisted I absolutely did not want the girl doing my tan for my wedding, and the owner said she would do it, but asked if it was ok if the girl stayed in the room to "learn". Sure... learning is a good thing. Two days before my wedding, I came in and the owner applied my tan. The girl who was supposed to "learn" left the room. All seemed well, and I left with the hope I would be bronze and pretty for my wedding. Well, I ended up with one VERY tan arm/hand, and one very pale arm/hand (although the two arms/hands tanned evenly the first time, so it definitely wasn't an issue with my skin drawing pigment). Awesome... that definitely was the look I was going for. I had to apply Jergens Natural Glow and hope for the best. The "best" resulted in me still having two different colored arms at my wedding. I definitely won't be coming back for my third tan. read more

The first tan I had done was a little too light for me, but she didn't want to shock me with too dark of a tone. I initially went somewhere else to get my lashes done but didn't want to return because of the bad service and lack of knowledge. I called to make an appointment with Vanessa for a fill, and explained to her that I felt like they were clumped together, which she later confirmed to be true. What I loved about the way she worked is that she explained to me the different types of glue that is used, how it affects everyone differently if it does, AND she did a patch test to see if I had any reaction to the glue itself. That is telling me that not only is she a professional, she cares about her customers. The prior place mentioned didn't give me that same comfort in knowing certain things, but I'm so glad I made an appointment to get my fill here. I recently visited the Lash Out Beauty Bar to get my winter back seater removed. I was very nervous and a bit embarrassed to have this done... I was actually more nervous that it was gonna hurt like the dude from 40 Year Old Virgin... LOL Anyways, the awesome crew at Lash Out made me feel very comfortable and the whole process was actually not that bad and now I can walk around with my shirt off and not feel like Big Foot! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone (i.e. dudes with back sweaters.) They also do an amazing job with eye lashes. Worst spray tan ever. I bought the five tan Groupon and am going to forgo the other four tans. Wish I could a refund but I never asked and won't ask. I was sprayed unevenly, told it was ok to get dressed immediately despite not being dry (usually I've been sprayed with air afterwards - thought this might be different product that didn't need to dry perhaps) - ended up with splotches everywhere. This is my first negative post evFind another place to get your lashes done. Not only are they over-priced, their customer service is horrible. On a Friday at 8:30am I called to cancel an appt scheduled the next day for noon. I got a call back from a snippy girl who snottily told me they have a 24-he cancellation polity and that they were keeping my $50 deposit and I could NOT put it toward a future appt. then she calls me back saying oh sorry I now see it wasn't 24 hours. I went to Vanessa 2 years ago for lashes for a wedding I was invited to and she was recommended to me by a colleague. My initial goal was to get lashes done temporarily for this event but here I am 2 years later and still going regularly for fills. This is a small bussiness and they treat all customers like friends. It was my first Brazilian and Sharon made me feel super comfortable. She explained everything as she went, and mid wax she had me laughing and not nervous. She then also did my tan, which I chose the lightest color since I'm fair skin. The tan is cold but goes quick, and dried quickly as well. Looked natural and not streaky. My Brazilian by the next morning looked so good, no more redness and they apply these really awesome smelling oils at the end. Did I mention they have a loyalty punch card! For all their faithful customers after you purchase so many services they will give you a service listed free. Don't recommend the eyebrow, lip or chin wax. I've never had such a bad wax before. The girl was really nice but was inexperienced. I regret coming in, I just lost my eyebrow arch, shape and thickness all in one visit. Maybe their other services are fine but I don't recommend risking your eyebrows. I've never had a basic cleanup mean losing my entire shape and arch, I'm at a loss. read more
