First-time client at The Lash Addict the morning of 11/29/19 for a lash lift by Junior Artist Danielle, reduced price of $55 for 60-90 minutes (regular $85 for 60mins). Have had eyelash extensions once before, but this was the first time trying a lash lift service. No added volume but instead a sort of perm curled look on natural lashes that can last up to 90-100 days! Soonest rebooking is 2 months. No more manual eyelash curling, and the look can be worn with or without mascara depending on how dramatic you're feeling. Four forms to fill out, deposit put down when appointment was scheduled/booked over the phone. Actual process was painless, lay down with pillow under my knees, warm pink blanket too. Wash off any eye makeup with oil-free remover, two different chemicals added and lashes are glued to a silicone rod to shape the curl before activation/setting. Danielle talked me through each step. The Spotify playlist toward the end was awesome, 'NSYNC "Dirty Pop," Britney "Oops...I Did It Again" and Christina Aguilera! 30% off products for friends/family discount so I purchased a lash conditioner as well. Aftercare info provided, especially the first 24-48 hours after the lift is done. So far I really like the low maintenance look! Thanks Danielle. Had a great time here, was in n out within an hour for a lash lift. I came in about 10 mins early and was taken into the lash room right away. The tech, Chyanne, was super sweet and professional. She made sure to tell me exactly what she was doing as she was doing it so there were no surprises. The studio itself has a very warm and cozy feel to it, to the point where I almost fell asleep during my lash lift. It's been about 5 days since I got the lash lift and everything looks and feels great! One thing I will say is: I wish they did last tints as well. I have somewhat long but very pale lashes so even with a lash lift you don't see all of my length so I have to tint it as well for the effect that I want. I understand why adding a lash tint might not be an option or something they want to do but it would be amazing if it eventually became one of their services. read more

I moved to Sacramento a few months ago and have been looking for a good lashes place to get a lash lift! I tried out Lash Lounge but felt the lift didn't stay as long as I was used to. Just had my appt with Cassiopeia and it was amazing! I have really straight eyelashes and evening with a curler, nothing comes of it so I figured I'd try getting a lift. My eyes are so sensitive so I was worried I have a issue but it went wonderfully. Cass was so great! She really took the time to explain everything, so detailed, and the 30+ minutes flew by. This was my first time ever getting a lash lift, I had done a lot of research on services in the area and this place seemed like the best one. The booking system is very easy, requires a CC to hold the appointment. They email you all the do's and don't for before and aftercare, and they offer a patch test which I chose to complete since I have sensitive skin. For the appointment I had Danielle who was very gentle and did an amazing job at explaining what was going on. I also took the best nap of my life there, the bed you lay on is very comfortable, they play relaxing music, and Danielle was so gentle when working on my lashes. read more

Wonderful. I have hooded lids/monolids that are difficult to work with because my lids sit on my lashes, but Chyanne worked a miracle. I was worried about lash retention because my skin touches my lashes with every blink, but miraculously, lash retention was excellent! My lashes shedded like normal, a few each day, and I can see that each lash that I shedded had a falsh lash securely attached to the natural lash. Also, the lashes stayed perfect through a Hawaii vacation with swimming, snorkeling, sunblock, etc. So, 10 stars for Chyanne's technique!! Also, I was very pleased with how natural they came out. The only thing I woukd do differently is to book my appointments for fills AHEAD of time. They are so popular that if you wait til your lashes start getting skimpy, they will look wonky by the time you get a fill. read more

I've gotten my lashes done at several places and by several stylists over the years, however, I was never really in love with my results and began to think lash extensions just weren't for me. So I came in yesterday for 2 hour classic set at 4:45 pm. This morning I woke up and about 15 lashes already have fallen off. I am a back sleeper and do not roll around when I sleep so I know it wasn't me. The other reviews said that their lash glue sucks and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but THEY ARE RIGHT. I literally went straight home from my appt ate dinner and went to bed. The next thing I know a ton of lashes already have fallen out. I'm so bummed considering how much it cost. Most of the time I had good experiences. Only once not so much , the lashes artist did not finish the whole amount of time I booked. Booked for 90mins classic , when I looked at the clock at the receptionist desk while paying I realized it was about 10mins earlier ‍(Yes, I noticed!). The management was rude and unprofessional in handling a complaint I had about the estheticians not having equal training in regard to applying lashes. Apparently some estheticians can do some services that others cannot. I only learned this after I booked my appointment and was lying flat on my back with tape over my eyes. It was only then that I was told that my esthetician only did one type of lashes because she had not yet been trained in any others. I had come in 45 minutes early as they requested and the process of removing my original lashes and putting on a very natural set took 3 hours! It is not the esthetician's fault, she did an excellent job, it was lack of the staff's clarity in booking my appointment and the frank surliness of the owner that I am appalled at. read more

I'm going to update as my experience continues. So first off I called this morning for an appt and Maya was absolutely amazing. Once I mentioned that this was my first time getting lash extensions she took the time to walk me through the different services and even the booking options. She was very clear about the deposit and how it is non refundable if I have to cancel less than 24hrs before my appt. She also let me know that they aim for a more natural look as the overall health of my real lashes was their first priority! I got an appt for this Friday so I'll see update how it goes! Saturday So I had Samantha for my lashes yesterday and she was very sweet. She took the time to ask for my inspiration pictures. She even popped a few different sizes on for me so I could see the length before I made a final decision. Altogether, I loved it! My lashes look beautiful. I think next time I will go for a slightly fuller look but that's personal preference. I've gotten so many compliments already. The only thing was the young lady at the front desk was less than enthusiastic. After Samantha walked me up front she barely acknowledged me, just gave me the iPad with the price. After that she never asked if I wanted to book for a refill, asked about my experience, if I wanted a receipt, not even have a great day. I honestly stood there awkwardly for a few moments before finally asking if I needed anything else. She was the biggest bummer of the entire experience. First time client! Quality work and attention to detail. I had a pleasant experience with Aline as well as the owner Julie. They were both very knowledgeable of their craft. I had lash extensions prior to trying this place out and this place by far has been the best. They work with very fine extensions not those thick ones that you might have seen at other locations so keep in mind it is normal to see a few fall off. Initially that is what happened during my first session with my technician. Upon coming in the second time we both learned I needed to go with a thinner lash. It may not be the glue but how fine and thin our natural lashes may be. I've learned this while speaking to my technician. May I suggest coming in with an open mind. This is not any other location that over uses the lash extensions adhesive to the point the extension feels heavy. It almost feels like nothing is there. She was so helpful in explaining the different styles, the process, aftercare, etc. I came here after having my first lash extensions experience at Amazing Lash Studio at Loehmann's and the difference is remarkable...As I was getting them done, I was thinking, I'm going to list all the differences I feel between Amazing Lash (AL)and LASH ADDICT. 1. NO BURNING OR PAIN: At AL, it hurt how she taped my bottom lashes and she couldn't adjust it to not poke into the rim of my eyelid...here at Lash Addict, it felt fine the first time Brittany taped them. 2. BETTER SERVICE: I felt totally comfortable the entire time at Lash Addict, aside from my Bobby pin that I forgot was in my hair poking my head! Also, Brittany was hella cool about making sure I was comfortable and that she was not hurting me. During application it burned like hell at AL! And was freezing. 3. BETTER LOOKING / BETTER QUALITY: Lash Addict's lashes look more natural. At AL I looked in the mirror and it was like I had just glued on a strip of false lashes. Brittany did a great job choosing length and curl for my lashes. I was 100% more satisfied with Lash Addict. 4. NO BURNING OR DISCOMFORT AFTER: The first set I got at AL I thought it was normal to feel my lids heavy, for my eyes to burn on the inner corners unless I kept washing them, and for the lashes to feel like they were poking me where they were glued. After AL, I went home regretting them and tried to make them fall out because they hurt so bad...I experienced NONE of this at Lash Addict. I feel nothing! I remember telling my friends how it felt the first time (burns!- but you'll love having long lashes!) and trying to justify the pain (LOL). Now I can explain to them that doesn't happen everywhere! Not sure if it's the glue they use or what, but Lash Addict works for me :) 5. AFFORDABLE: They charge by time, and allow tons of time to create a customized look for you. Basically, the other place was a true franchise type business...they try to sell you tons of extra, unnecessary products and memberships and they operate on auto pilot. At Lash Addict they didn't bug me to buy this and that, or try to worry me into purchasing some overpriced soap or mascara or brush...in fact, Brittany gave me a brush complimentary. I don't write too many reviews but I feel compelled to say that I paid for a specific service and the outcome is not what I expected to receive. The staff was friendly enough and the environment was clean and nice but I paid for a lash lift and came out with curl that I never wanted, more so on one side than the other to top it off. I have short thicker lashes that are straight and ASKED for something that would help them appear more lifted and lengthy, not curly. I was advised of the techs professional advice which I accepted since I've never had this service before. What I ended up with is a curl that is C shape and curls all the way back to brow bone and now can barely apply mascara because it amplifies the weird curl AND is definitely shorter looking than if it had just not worked at all. The lashes used are very natural and I love that, but their glue is crap. I had to get a touch up every week and that really sucked. No, it wasn't how I cared for them because I found other places where I didn't have to get a touch up for AT LEAST 3 weeks because the quality of the glue was better, but the lashes weren't as natural - which was the down side. It is my second time at the this location and although I really liked how my lashes came out I woke up with pink eye! :( I haven't had pink eye since I was 10.....Super upset and disappointed, I'm here in LA all week and can't do anything about this. Won't be returning to this location, please be better about hygiene. Update: The owner commented and let me know to call them, which I did but they didn't answer. Called back again and the owner explained it may be an allergic reaction. I did have my first set of eyelash extensions for 3 weeks with no issues, but she explained that I could still have an allergic reaction. As you can see though, only one eye is affected while the other is not. I appreciate the owner taking the time to call and offer a refund, but still am baffled by all of this. I'm in LA right now on vacation so not really wanting to go to a doctor, but will update this once I find out. FINAL UPDATE- after going to a consultation with a doctor he confirmed it is indeed pink eye :/ this place was the only contact I had with anyone else before my trip, literally went straight home and packed after my appointment then left this morning. Especially since my eye was fine before my appointment and this place had direct contact with my eye, then shortly after it starts to feel irritated, then waking up the next day with my eye infected there's just no way it was from anything else. The doctor explained that it could have been as simple as someone touching a door knob, but that some sort of bacteria was definitely transferred to my eye. I was given pink eye pain relief eye drops but there's really nothing I can do at this point. I hate writing a bad review for this place because I really love the eyelash work they did, I even recommended them to a family member who went in and got their eyelashes done. But while I understand that this place does amazing eyelash work and has very great people working here, this still happened. I tried to give you guys the benefit of the doubt but after my doctor confirmed what I already knew I'm pretty upset. This is my last family trip before I'm sent off to basic training for the Army in January, and this whole incident has definitely ruined this trip that I've been excited for months now. While I again appreciate the owner reaching out to me, I will not be coming back to this place and I hope this once in a blue moon scenario never happens at their establishment again. read more

Came in at a time when the salon was cleared to provide services during COVID pandemic. Upon arriving they required all persons inside to wear masks. I was asked to wait outside until I was permitted indoors. Since I was a first time customer, I filled out a form outside and then returned it to the receptionist at which point she proceeded to check my temperature with a touchless thermometer and asked a few symptom screening questions. Then I was asked to wash my eyelashes in their restroom and wash my hands for 30seconds before coming out. The technician was waiting for me afterwards. The beds were covered with plastic. All technicians and guests wore masks. I think it was Danielle who did my lashes. She was very kind and asked a few questions about what I wanted before starting. My lashes turned out amazing! Best lash lift! I started getting lash lifts at another location and the results were inconsistent so I tried Last Addict. I have been here several times now and every time I get great results that last several weeks. Patricia is awesome! During Covid I tried another salon in El Dorado County and they actually damaged my lashes. I lost about 20 lashes, my lashes barely looked different and within 2 weeks my lashes were pointing downward and over lapping. My lashes had never been that bad off. Very nice staff and pleasant experience and result at first. Burning and stinging in my eyes after appointment and the days leading after along with large lumps under my lids I was one of the unlucky people who had a reaction so I can't do this at all without having eye problems. I called a few days after to ask about my complications. Had never heard of my symptoms but said i was probably allergic. Now have to pay for an eye dr appointment. No refund offered even though I only had my lashes a few days total. Not a bad place, just not for me I guess. read more
