I'm happy that the staff recommended I go with a moderate shade for my first one but I would probably go a few shades darker my next tan, as I didn't notice quite as large of a difference as I may have preferred but I was still satisfied with the results! I went to Mist Body Bar for the first time and I LOVED it! Not only do they have free parking for customers on the side of the building, but the space was super bright and welcoming. I had my spray tan done by Alicea and she was super nice and made me feel equally as comfortable. When I checked-in, she asked me what color I was going for during my session and asked all the right questions, such as: if my skin picks up red/pink, if I burn easily, etc. Alicea was very detailed with where she sprayed and provided self-care tips for post-session. Absolutely LOVE mist body bar! Since pandemic, I have been trying self tanner at home and haven't found one I absolutely love. I'm getting married this year and decided to try a spray tan at this local, woman-owned spot -- so happy with my decision! Spray tans are not what they used to be (streaky, orange and not lasting)! I was made to feel so comfortable by Tiffany, who ensured that I could dress down to whatever level I felt comfortable in. The whole process took about 20 minutes and Tiffany spent time discussing post-care. There were NO streaks, NO orange tint and NO one could tell it was a spray tan! Tiffany even altered the spray tan to my skin tone. She gave me an option of depth of color from 1-5. My first session, I chose 3 (left picture) and second session I chose 3.5 (right picture). I have received so many compliments on my tan and everyone assumes it is natural because of the glow. The ladies at Mist Body Bar are welcoming, warm, kind and make this new experience so comfortable. I look forward to my future tans and services here -- next I will be trying the teeth whitening! I've been here twice for teeth whitening. I like a lot about this business. It's easy to schedule an appointment, I get seen on time, everything is clean and sanitized, and the technicians I had during both my visits were phenomenal. They were experienced and they were very friendly and helpful. But, both times I've been here I've been disappointed with my results. The technician explained that it's a peroxide solution and not bleach. I only got 1-2 shades lighter. They said people typically get 3 shades lighter. I compared my teeth to what would have been 3 shades lighter on their scale and it was definitely not that. I've had this done so many times over the years at other places and my teeth always get significantly more white. When I look in the mirror now I don't see much of a difference. read more
