They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Ly truly has a good eye of making anyone feel beautiful. The entire staff at Lash Piolt truly generated such positive and welcoming energy from the moment I walked in the door. My eye shape is hooded almond eyes and I received cateye style lashes that were not heavy and did not over power my face. They were very feminine and mapped out so well to frame my eyes. I have had my lashes for almost a month now with proper care and minimal shedding of my individual lashes. Ly took her time in perfecting the perfect set to frame my eyes and when I say it was a flawless look , I mean they were absolutely flawless. Customer service was exceptional. The way your employees interacted with each and everyone of your guests on a personal level was mind blowing. Each customer was welcomed as a guest in a second home. Hospitality was exceptional from each employee as the interacted with each guest and catered to their specific guests. During my time there I did witness multiple return guest as well as a few newcomers turned forever patrons. The lady next to me was getting her lashes done for the first time ever and her lash tech was very friendly and patient and explained everything prior to mapping out the perfect lash application. That alone takes the nerves and jitters away from a first time patron. Location is everything so if your partner is waiting for you to look your best, there are plenty of food places nearby and ample parking. The parlor was very clean bright and comfortable. I will never need to go anywhere else after my positive experience here. I especially love all the services provided here as well as their many packages to choose from. This review is long overdue! I have been coming in for almost a year now and everyone who works there is fantastic. My first visit was with the owner, Tram, who is knowledgeable and generous. She listens to what you want and gives suggestions without being pushy. When I first started going, it was because my last lash lady burned half of my lashes off when she left the chemicals on too long for a lash lift. Tram suggested some extensions until my lashes grew back and she was right. They did the trick and I felt so much better. I have since gotten two brow laminations and a bunch of lash lifts and I won't go anywhere else! I usually go to Tram but seriously anyone is wonderful. I cannot recommend Lash Pilot enough. I am happy to report that I found my new lash place! The attention to detail during my intake resulted in the perfect lashes for me. Of the half dozen or so lash artists I have tried in the past, nowhere else did they ask me how often I wear glasses, or other relevant questions about my lifestyle, to determine the best appropriate fit. This is what I consider detailed and thoughtful expertise! I do notice a big difference in the lashes and lash application at Lash Pilot. Even though my lash extensions are full (and my natural lashes quite straight and short), my lash extensions don't twist and dangle nearly as much as lashes I've received at other lash places. The technique and quality of lashes are superior at Lash Pilot, and I am elated with the end result. Due to my lack of research, I will say that I will not be doing a brow lamination again. I honestly didn't know exactly what it was, so I said 'yes' when I was asked if I wanted it on my first visit. Please do your research and know what you want before heading in. Also, be aware that some services cannot overlap and you need time in between a lamination and a proper permanent brow consultation, for example. Luckily, the lamination lasts about six weeks and not longer. The scheduling process has been fairly easy-- I found available time slots whenever I needed it. The receptionist Ellie has so far been quite accommodating and communicative via text, and has a delightful demeanor in-person. The extra mile...when I accidentally left my credit card, the owner generously offered to bring it to my home. I was honestly very surprised by this level of service. Truly, she cares about her business via the day-to-day actions she takes, not just by the beautiful 'after' photos and clever marketing design on her company webpage. A business can only be as good as (or in this case, brilliant as) its owner. Other lash business owners have big shoes to fill! read more

It was my first time at Lash Pilot and it has only been a few days since I had the extensions put in so durability still hasn't been tested properly. Well lash pilot is such a beautifully professional and lovely establishment that even their receptionist is phenomenal at what she does. That is Eli! I cannot tell you how many times I will be at hair salons or nail salons or even (in the past) other lash salons/bars where the receptionist would do many things that impact the quality of service like ...they wouldn't answer the phone, would be busy doing something else while I awkwardly stand there, wouldn't be welcoming but instead would seem cold or moody while i enter the store, would take a long time to get my receipt...I could list on but you've been there. But None of these things happen when Eli is there because she goes above and beyond with her job ... which I think everyone who goes to lash pilot regularly or I assume who works with her there deeply respects! She is always in a great mood when you walk in the the salon and it brings good energy and positive vibrations that makes you feel welcomed and comfortable before a long stay getting your lashes done. She is always one step ahead and takes care of whatever you need and is incredibly quick and efficient when you pay/checkout. If you are a forgetful person and forget to make appointments she always checks in with you and asks if you would like her to do all of that for you. If you need anything she will message you back instantly. I could list on. Point is ...never underestimate the power of a good host because it is one of the main reasons that makes lash pilot so professional and a place I never want to stop going to. Okay ... I know i've reviewed lash pilot overall as a whole before but since i'm here i wanted to praise more because I'm not the praising type and I don't usually yelp review but a business and group of women deserves at least this! ... I have been coming to lash pilot as a regular for 5 years now (soon to be 6 in July) and it is because it truly is the best lash salon in LA and I am so picky. Getting lashes alone has changed my life in terms of money and time spent on makeup. Really invest into where you go because the quality does matter! My lashes last so long and I never leave with anything below perfection. But most importantly is the staff and service and professionalism and heart of this salon. I want to mention my two go to stylists Tram and Vivian and couldn't recommended picking them as your stylists enough! Tram is beyond talented and one of the most professional business women out there is not the very TOP in the lash industry and has extreme care for all of her clients. Vivian is probably the fastest perfectionist and will shock you with her talent while also bringing the most positive beautiful energy and conversation that will make you leave the salon not only feeling good about your eyelashes but just life because she's just such a joyful gem and you don't meet people with that gorgeous light energy often. Now ...I usually go for those two stylists out of habit and years i've been seeing them regularly ...but I cannot end this review without making it clear that the few times i've had other stylists they have been incredible because the training is the same. Two other amazing lash technicians who need to be mentioned is Ciel and Sandra! Ciel has been a professional at this for a long time that you can trust she will deliver exactly what you want without fail consistently and sandra is such sweetheart that is now already a pro herself and both of them have done my eyelashes perfectly (and I consider myself a tough client with specific request). I have so much love for lash pilot. And again if you are questioning investing any time or money into eyelash extensions or ANY beauty care you can stop looking because this is THE only spot in LA that makes it worth it to me, and I would drive miles just to come here as the regular I am. read more

Do not get your lips done here with Tran. She is a horrible human being. She did my lips and it was the most painful experience Ive ever had bc she rushed through so the numbing cream never worked effectively. It was the worst pain I have ever had but I already pqid her half of my lips and I wanted it to work so badly. The results were nil. My lips are discolored so that the outside looks red and the inside has faded to my natural color (essentially white). Moreover my lips just look constantly chapped. Tram takes photos of lips immediately after the tattoo so that the swollenness makes them look bigger and plump. That eventually fades as does the color so that you are left with discolored lips. She refused to give a refund. She said we should do it again even though this was the third time she had done it (since the first two times faded immediately. She also forgot to include that it requires another touch up that costs $200. I was already leary of paying the $800 since its a lot of money so having never told me it would be another $200 was extremely shady. Shes not a good person and she only cares about money. Every single after picture is completely fabricated. Its swollen lips that eventually fade. Complete utter dishonesty. read more

Unfortunately, the lashes looked great for about 2 days, until they started to all fall out in clumps. I needed to find a new place to get my lashes done and I was not too hopeful due to negative experiences with the individuals and studio/salons I had tried, but I'm super impressed and grateful I went to Lash Pilot and I am planning on coming back to refill when needed. I really love this place, they're all about quality! I'm always looking for the best lash artists as I reviewed a few now. I'm really pleased with the overall expertise, quality, care for my natural lashes, cleanliness of the facility and honesty that I experienced with my first appointment. I'm picky by now after having been a lash art when they first came out in 2013 in the US, wearing them for several years as a client with short weak lashes, and less patience for work that can cause a whole mess of unnecessary pain. 1. I got conflicting text messages regarding my appointment. Multiple 415 area code numbers texting me I was confirmed for the appointment I scheduled for online and another asking me what my best times were for scheduling. Even the person I called to confirm what was going on, didn't sound too sure that I had an appointment. 2. Cost in money/time was not as expected. I had mentioned multiple times this were to be my first time doing a lash lift. This became an issue with the selection of product/length of time to treat, which cost me an additional $20 and another hour of my time/time on the parking meter. 3. People were friendly. 4. Service started promptly. 5. The space itself was clean. I don't know that I would come back or have this service done again.
