After peering through dozens of different artists, her work stood out to me the most. I saw that her work looks clean, detail-oriented, and experienced. I knew I had to get in touch with her. On the day of my appointment, she really took the time to understand how my brows were shaped and how to elevate my look. She made sure each angle was perfect, and took very meticulous measurements. Once she got started I literally didn't feel anything. The entire experience was so peaceful, calm, and relaxing, so much so that I fell into my first ever brow nap. After maybe 20 minutes, I woke up to beautiful brows on me. She had me sit up a bit to look at the measurements and ensure that no spot was missed. Then she would lay me back down and continue layering while I fell back into my brow nap. I've had my brows done by other artists several times over the course of 10 years, and this experience was the most calm and relaxing experience I have had! Her office also has a very welcoming, clean, and relaxing vibe inside. I highly recommend Thao for all of your brow needs. She is experienced and simply an amazing human.

We chatted briefly, and I followed up this week to ask if she had availability for a quick call so I could walk through a few questions. I was told she wasn't available for a call and to text instead, which I did. I sent reference photos of styles I was considering, along with photos of my natural lashes with mascara. I explained that I was between two looks and was hoping for professional guidance, as I've had lash extensions done before and haven't loved the results in the past. I was genuinely trying to be thoughtful and clear so expectations would be aligned. The response I received was surprising and disappointing. I was told that I was "too confusing," that I couldn't decide what I wanted, and that I would confuse her lash techs, so they didn't think they could work with me. The interaction felt dismissive and placed the blame on me for simply asking questions and seeking guidance. While I respect a business's right to choose its clients, I was honestly taken aback by how this was handled. I can't believe a business would turn away a potential client in this manner rather than offering guidance or setting expectations professionally. As a result, I'll be exploring other options. Given the otherwise positive reviews, this experience was unexpected and left a very poor first impression.

Since I use retinol and glycolic acid, she ended up tweezing my brows to be safe. Hayley walked through the steps for my partner's lashes as this was her first time doing any of it. I don't have to wear any mascara and it lasts for quite a few weeks. I'm addicted now and and go back every few weeks to freshen up my eyelashes and get my eyebrows tinted. Her studio is also very relaxing. There is parking off the alley in the back of her studio. There generally is street parking as well if there is no parking in back. I highly recommend Ariel! My nails had over three weeks of growth, and with an upcoming conference, it was definitely time for a refresh. I was paired with Crystal, and she was fantastic! She was friendly, attentive, and really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. She even took a photo of the nail design I showed her, recreated it on one nail first, and asked for my feedback before continuing. I suggested one small tweak to make it my own, and she perfected it before moving on to the rest. Once we had the design just right, it was smooth sailing from there. The entire appointment took about 60 minutes, which I really appreciated, and the pricing was very reasonable and comparable to what I was paying at my previous salon. The salon itself was clean, bright, and inviting. The only adjustment for me was that it was busier than I'm used to. Having come from a smaller boutique salon with just a few nail artists, the weekend crowd felt a bit more bustling than my preference. Next time, I'll probably book a weekday appointment when it's a little quieter. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would absolutely recommend The NewMe Nail Salon, especially if you're looking for a quality manicure at a fair price. Crystal earned a new client today!

I went in for a classic pedicure and asked for her to file my nails and change the color, that's it! The technician was nice so I feel bad leaving this review, but the way she removed the gel from my toes was awful! She filed it down, put acetone and let it sit for a bit. Then she proceeded to peel off the old gel and tore the corner of my nail OFF. She then proceeded to say I had thin nails! I've been getting gel pedicures for a while now and NEVER has anyone tore a piece of my nail OFF! As a technician, even if my nail was thin she could of used a machine to remove the gel instead of tearing it off the way she did. I was so upset! She tried to tell me she would add a piece, which I declined so I just told her to cut what she could without leaving my nail too short. I will never return here. Maybe some folks like this method of removal but I did not and will not be returning for a pedicure. I will add the chairs were comfortable and I also got a gel manicure which he added so many layers too! There was one lady too that came by and was just talking to the technician who did my nails and the vibe just felt uncomfortable! I will never return!

When I agreed to just a manicure the response was a sarcastic "thank you." First impressions are the reveal and this one said everything. If this is how repeat customers are treated over the phone it's clear long term business isn't a priority. They've lost a customer and I won't be recommending this place to anyone.

When my nail technician completed my manicure, she announced, "same!" as if she declared out-loud my powdered pearlescent nails are now magically transformed into the requested nude chrome color. I wish they would've told me upfront that this cannot be done. I would not request for anything out of the basic mani pedi here.
