I purchased the Groupon special from here. I got a natural set and although they are pretty I didn't really notice much of a difference in my eyes which was a bummer. It didn't look bad at all but for my personal taste I would've liked something more dramatic. I think If she would've explained my options to me I would have been able to make a different choice. Environment was very nice and relaxing. The lady that did my extensions was very nice but had a very quiet toned voice, it was almost like a whisper so it was hard for me to understand her. I was disappointed with the results from Lash Studio. My friend highly recommended this place since I needed to get lashes done for a wedding. I signed up with someone they recommended was pretty good then when I got to studio, I realized after my extensions were done, it was someone else and they didn't even tell me. I noticed within 2-3 days, a lot of my eyelashes were falling out. I too followed the directions strictly and didn't use any eyeliner, mascara or got them wet. It was also challenging to talk with the technician. I asked her for advice on the different types of looks and it just didn't seem like she had a lot of experience nor could suggest anything. That made me very skeptical at first. The technician said she would make my eyes look big like a doll with the synthetic minx lashes that I ended up choosing. Instead the extensions made my eyes look droopy and sleepy. I ended up calling them 5 days later because the day after I got the lashes, I was out of town for the wedding. Apparently they have a "3 day" grace period that if you don't like your lashes, they will redo it or something. I told the representative on the phone that I didn't know that I had 3 days because no one told me about it and there was no way for me to come in 3 days because I was out of town so I called when I came back into town. Then she told me that they don't tell people about the "3 days" which completely threw me off and confused me even more about that logic. She offered for me to come back and pay for the $25 refill for one week option. Then proceeded to explain to me that some people's eyelashes fall out more than others and they get satisfied customers that come back and those who don't because eyelashes just don't work out for them and it has something to do with their hormones and oil production. How in the world do they run this business if their goal isn't customer satisfaction? In hindsight, paying over $100 for the full set of synthetic lashes was NOT worth my money especially since it's hardly noticeable, a lot fell out AND my conversation with the representative on the phone was very frustrating. read more

I'm really happy that Lash Studio has expanded. Moving into this bigger newer location only shows that this business is booming by ten folds. This new place is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and the service has never been better, even when it's bustling full of clients. I've been a loyal customer for over 3 years now, and Tracy has always been and will always be my girl. Personally, I don't think anyone can do it better, but I may be biased seeing as I started with her back when she was a one woman show working out of a small room at her old location. I'll admit, though, that during the god forsaken times when I have no other choice but to see another technician, they've all been pretty skilled at what they do. For me, my lashes are stupid crazy so no matter how well I take care of them, there are months on end when my lashes fall out a lot during the second week and by the end of the third week, I have like ten extensions left on each eye. I don't blame the techs though, because after years of this beauty treatment, I know my eyes fairly well. I know it seems dumb to continue going if my lashes don't look pretty, etc. but I'd rather have some extensions than my real lashes because no amount of actual mascara would make my eyes look as great as they do when I get them done. On the bright side, I do experience several months where my lashes look awesome every single week until I get them refilled and they look even better. I just think it depends on your hormones as Jeena L. pointed out because my sister is the complete opposite of me and her extensions always seem to last the whole three weeks. If you're a potential new client, I would suggest calling the business and asking if they have any deals for new customers, Groupons, LivingSocial deals, or Yelp deals. I've found in the past that Lash Studio often offers deals for first timers who are wary of the experience and aren't committed to paying a full price for it elsewhere. read more

Dec 2, got my lashes done & they did an awesome job applying my lashes. Took me a little getting used to but everyone loved them. Next day lost one off of each eye. Right away i noticed that everytime a lash fell off it was was falling off with my lash attached to it. So am i going to have NO EYELASHES after they all fall off?? I continue to go here for my lashes now. I don't get lashes all year round, just during the holidays, special occasions, and vacations. I like that they have a standard price- $79 for a new set, more of you want to upgrade to better lashes. And their refill prices are very fair. Other places are tricky and charge $200 unless you catch a groupon or living social offer. I actually live out in copperfield area so it takes me about 30-45 min to get here but it is totally worth the drive. I like that Vivian was very thorough with pictures and detailed explanation so I knew what to expect. She was very professional. She was not pushy. I would have liked more volume but based on her explanation I wasn't surprise that she was not able to achieve that goal. The thickness and and the length were acceptable. I used to go to other lash studios but this is by far the best. My lashes don't fall out with multiple lashes glued onto one lash anymore. All the girls I've had are really attentive to detail, and I get compliments on how great my lashes look now. A couple days after a refill, I realized they looked a tad long even though I had requested that length. I called and they fit me in for a redo. I have been getting lashes for 6 years and I had to find a new studio because I moved. The manager or stylist had no regard towards how upset I was or even tried to fix it. I should have walked out when I looked through their portfolio book and saw the globs of glue on the lash line of the women photographed but I waited til I could look and the artist's work doing my lashes. The client before me allowed me to look at her lashes when she walked to the front desk and I was pleased. When Kim took me to the back she asked me to choose which length I wanted. This is not a question to ask the client as it is supposed to be the stylist opinion of what the clients natural lashes can handle. Too long and too heavy causes breakage and premature shedding. The bed sheets and pillow did not look changed as there were lashes all over them. I again should have walked out but was going out of town and wanted lashes. Despite the fumes burning my left eye the service was quiet and calm. After the service I mostly liked my lashes but they were too long. But I was happy until a week later when my lashes started to grow out. There was a pulling and soreness at my lash line so I looked up close in the mirror and went through my lashes with tweezers and found she had glued several of my lashes together in clumps with the extensions. Each lash grows at its own cycle and rate so when they are glued together and one is growing out the rest are being tugged. It was very annoying and I felt helpless as I was out of town and ended up pulling them out myself. read more
